We live near the TN/NC border and we drove the motorcycle up to one of the touristy towns near the mountains, got a room at the Hilton, walked to some of the shops downtown, & had a couple of drinks. I'll leave out the bow chicka wow wow parts.

Re: General chitchat for August
LOL, I don't know about the penis soap on a rope thing but there used to be a candy store in the mall that made the choclate penises on a stick. You could get them in dark or white chocolate, depending on your preference. They made boobs on a stick for the guys too.
When I was a senior in high school, I worked PT at the mall. I bought one of the dark chocolate ones for my boss on her b-day and just left in her office with a note saying "Happy Birthday! Love, Tom" (Tom was our UPS delivery guy, who was black) Even though she thought it was funny, she chewed his ass out the next day about it being in appropriate. He had no clue what she was talking about. LMAO!

are you sure you aren't George's alter ego? That was something he would definitely do.
I remember seeing those items in a big, famous chocolate candy store in Midtown Manhattan (when my husband was around and we'd go into the City, book a hotelroom, wander around town, see a show and go to dinner). It was on 7th Ave., around 57 St. (in area where Carnegie (or Stage) deli is. Mind's getting a little dimmer in some spots. Haven't been to City in over 5 yrs. Miss those trips.

Wow! That was quite the conversation on this thread! Ha ha ha ha ha!! Now what I would want is a soap on a rope shaped like a penis that smelled like chocolate!! The best of both worlds!! Is that too naughty???

If you want to eat a penis, why soap?? Even if it's chocolate it's still soap! Now a penis lollipop, or popsicle, could come in a variety of size and flavors and would be much more enjoyable, at least out of the shower.

I got a penis shaped chocolate (not soap) on a stick for my birthday a few years back. It was suppose to be a joke to shock and embarrass me. I bit it in half, looked at the men in the room and said 'Next!'.

Friends had a bridal shower and gave out penis lollipops, it was a snack and a party game smallest penis won, no biting or melting in hot liquids allowed, only licking was permitted to shrink your penis.

Well, that's true too. However, usually he's talking to someone (and it's not me) and they answer him back. I just want to hear his voice alone.
Still raining by you. Gosh, this is getting boring. Sun came out for about 15 min. yesterday. Sunday we had 8" of rain. And that flooded spot I mentioned w/ 6 cars ended up with 11 cars being towed out of it. Can' understand why car #2 went into the area no less 3 thru 11. It's not that there aren't any ways to get around it. There are 2 streets w/in 50 ft. of it that you can take to avoid it or you could just turn around and find a way to bypass it.
Have you gotten rid of reply notification emails? I tried everything Mel said and still get them.

No, I haven't tried yet. I'll try today and if I get any results I'll be sure to let you know.
We're navigating our streets here in NJ by boat and kayack, seriously. I went food shopping yesterday and a severe thunderstorm started, black, black clouds. Seemed like the end of the world. We were all huddled under an outside roof. Wild!!!

Get's scary. We often get the boat navigators, but usually closer to the shoreline. I fortunately live on the crest of a hill so it does run away from me. Believe or not, someone is moving out across the street from me and it's teeming out.

Be careful with all that flooding, guys. We haven't had any storms but it is about 10 degrees cooler the past few days. Yesterday was absolutely perfect, 82 with no humidity and a breeze blowing most of the day.
School starts tomorrow!!!!
The kiddo isn't looking forward to it but I'm ready to get back into some kind of routine.

From weather to films, went to see Crazy, Stupid, Love, last night with my daughters. We sat through most of the film LOL, the scenes with Ryan and Steve were funny, the actor who played Steve's son was a hoot, it was nice to pay for something and enjoy laughing with my girls. That doesn't happen often with films due to our ages and tastes. Won't win a award but fun time and Ryan is not only eye candy in this film he can act.

Re: General chitchat for August
Other than the wild weather we've been having lately, there was a little incident yesterday which kind of scared me. There were about 4 police cars in my complex parking lot for around 2 hours yesterday morning. They were all gathered around a red car parked there. I didn't think much too about it then but last evening around 7:30, two detectives from the Bridgewater PD knocked on my door asking if I'd seen the red car parked there before and showed me a picture of the owner. Didn't recognize him or the car. I asked them what's going on and he said the driver was involved in a hit and run accident late last night that killed someone. I hope they catch him.

For some reason this didn't shake me up until the PD showed up at my door.
He was a guy somewhere in his mid 20's or so. He had a goatee and a very mean look on his face (bet it was a mug shot LOL. I don't know how he found our little hamlet nestled in the woods. Our Association is very strict about parking, at the time I thought that was the problem, but then again I thought I just didn't want to think about it during the day.

Probably the fact that your complex was secluded, made it an ideal site to dump the car. Probably thought it would go unnoticed for a much longer period of time.

Hey girls, especially, Cindi, Socimar and even Cinderella. Are you okay? Did you feel the earthquake? They say center was in VA, 80 mi. south of DC and felt all the way up to Mass. It was 5.8. Sitting at computer and felt house swaying. Had water in a glass and it was moving like crazy. Weird, huh!
Please check in!
