Before I sign out and go to the beach..I just want to say, and I have said this on another site..I Truly believe that Stacy Kiebler has been the worst thing that has ever happened to that man!!!

I don't think we can blame her for this mess. This is George's own doing, encouraged by Rande. Keibler's just along for the ride.

I do know the gay rumors bother him but I can't imagine any man who was in his right mind would want to insinuate they were sleeping with there best friends wife...I have seen marriages fall apart and friendship destroyed by men sleeping with there best friends wives..NOT a good marketing move on his part or Randes..

Sillygirl, you're not being snarky. You said pretty much how I feel,too. Watching said it best a few months ago when she posted that basically she was over George, but like a train wreck you can't look away from, she keeps coming back. (Sorry watching, if I misquoted you. I'm going strictly on memory here, which can be a risky venture even when I'm not drinking!)

I have never ascribed anymore to George than just being one helluva hot looking guy who's rich and famous. I'm not impressed with his acting ability, altho I think he has some comedic chops now and then. Even his efforts philanthropically don't make him stand out for me. People give away their time and money for any variety of reasons and only they and God know the real motive.

FYI.. The reason the casino in Vegas was never built was because the other George (who by the way is an amazing man) and major backer of the project, had to back out because of the projects he had invested in here in Miami...

Just my thoughts - this pic looks like it could maybe be an opening shot for their little promo mini movie. Said it was loosely based on a true story. In an article I read about this, it said specifically George in bed with Cindy. Maybe it's played out that George had too much to drink, boarded the wrong private jet and stumbled into bed with Cindy. No doubt the "it could happen to you" refers to a dream coming true and what red blooded male hasn't fantasized about being in bed with Cindy Crawford? It could easily be shot in a style that is spoofy and funny and does not sleaze reputations. After all, the Gerbers have children and surely at least Cindy would be cognizant of the effect a slutty commercial would have on her kids. No, I think it will be a cute, 'simple mistake' kind of presentation and Miss Stacy will play a very minimal role.

Sigh, well I can at least hope, can't I? Still think the Keibs gets way kudos for getting such a public acknowledgement from G to be put in his commercial...............(damnit)

Apparently the theme of this ad is "this is what happens when you drink too much." THAT'S what happens? Well, we know it does, but if they wanted to send a serious warning message I think showing a car wreck would be more appropriate! The bed hopping seems to be taken from the raunchy (but entertaining) sitcom Two and a Half Men. It works for "Men" but I think this is a bit over-the-top advertising for George. Hate to say it, but this might ENCOURAGE some people thinking they'll get a reward. LOL

Yeah, that's what they're trying to portray. It's not sleazy - just a bit of fun. And yeah, I've woken up in some odd places in my youth after a hard night.

I'm not 100% convinced it's funny though. It's a touch "Oh look at us rich and famous beautiful people in our huge villas having a good time" for me, but again I'll reserve judgement until I see the whole thing.

Sometimes George's humour isn't quite on the ball and if he's not aware of the rumours about him (both gay, and swinging with the Crawford-Gerbers) then it's an odd storyline to choose.

But do you really think he gives damn how it looks and what anyone thinks as long as it brings in money for the Satellite Katie ?
We know that's Very Important to him.

Personally, I think it shows his security about himself very well
and am glad he can have fun like that while he can.

Thank heavens for that! I wqs beginning to doubt my judgment about the dircection he wants to take. I hope they push that angle more than the stupid "it could happen" tag line. "It could happen" seems to advocate the position that folks are going to overindulge, rather than enjoy the tequila in moderation.

I guess they are trying to create internet "buzz" without paying for much advertising. However, I think Rande is kidding himself if he thinks anyone (except a very few) even know who he is. It doesn't sit well with me. Perhaps at the height of her fame 20 years ago when she was gorgeous and single, being portrayed ending up in the wrong bed, or ending up in bed with her because both of you were drunk, it would be more along the lines of the Bank Ad, funny since it is Cindy. But at 46, married with two children, it's in poor taste. They like to forget what age they are, don't they? I would have preferred something sophisticated, not nearly 50 year olds pretending to act like college students with no responsibilities.

Got a feeling his "it's for charity" will be like his bitchy "I have a right to make a living” comment. Still makes him look bad.

And I don't know what the rules there when your primary residence is California but I can assume that any profits that goes into charity from this venture will ultimately line his pocket through tax credits... He gets paid directly as part owner then he chooses to donate the money therefore he can claim a rebate of a charitable donation. I doubt Rande is donating his % therfore the company as a whole can't be set up as a not for profit.

Maybe that will be the tagline for the next promotional push - If you don't choose us, people will be murdered and war crimes will be committed all because you decided to drink Don Julio Real instead. Do you really want that on your conscience? Because when you’re out drinking, you really should be thinking of helping the poor Sudanese people.

I find all of this bleak and absolutely devoid of good taste. from a great actor and I expected a lot more, O my God, take back George you out of the brain not only drink tequla!

OK, had to change my post here. Cheezy film piece, clothes on all, just insinuation. The point is, if you don't drink responsibly, that could end up being your lifestyle. I think thats what they were trying to say. Tho because its just a brief flicky flick, it doesn't really give enough depth and so many will misunderstand it. But I see the point now. This isn't what it seems at all. George has a wry sense of humor and it shows in this. All of them ended up that way because of heavy drinking, not a lifestyle. But if you don't want it to be a lifestyle, then "drink responsibly".
