No, I'll listen to what people like Dr. Oz or Dr. Sanjay Gupta say about Haiti. In my eyes, Sean can go fuck himself.

As to George and Darfur? Frankly, it was his father that gave it credibility for me - he's the newsman in the family and has spent a lifetime proving his credibility in his actions - because he not only SPOKE his opinions - he LIVED those words too.

I realize others don't think this is a big deal, but I'm talking about an overall sense that Hollywood celebrities think we should listen to what they say JUST BECAUSE they are celebrities and not because they've conducted themselves in an ethical manner and therefore have earned our respect by their actions.

I never bashed it. i just got very upset because of my showcase. it was very dear to me. the way i felt when my cat sage passed away was the same way i felt when i had to put my showcase down. I'm dropping out of this thread. i might as well.

Spent the day out of town working with a large group of both women and men. And not one of them had heard of Casamigo or the video. None of the 23 women at the meeting I attended had ever heard of Rande Gerber and none of the men knew who Rande was or even who Stacy was. They all knew George and they all knew Cindy.

My point? I suspect that the video that rocked COH for the past two days has been seen by COH members and a few other people who bother watching OMG Insider Video clips. Maybe the video on Youtube has garnered millions of views. I don't know.

Finally, before I saw the video, I thought it was a bad idea, based on Casamigo's description of what was coming. I just saw it and frankly, while I didn't find it very funny, I didn't think it was beyond reproach either. Ol' Stacy out acted Cindy--she looked like she really had hooked up with Cindy--and Rande looked like... Rande. George looked like George.

As of yesterday, it had been viewed quite a few thousand times already. Sites and TV shows such as the OMG Yahoo Insider have big viewerships in the target audience.

I agree that it's going to take a long time before it becomes widely known that George has launched this tequila, but that's just the nature of the business.

You see for me, what ruined the film was the description "Loosely based on a true story". Knowing that killed the fun part for me because it goes from being a bit of a lighthearted joke to casual documentary. I think I would have found it funnier if I hadn't known they were trying to say that this is what really goes on.

It becomes an in-joke and like many in-jokes, if you weren't there, it's not particularly amusing.

I have to agree with Way2, I have commercials a lot worse. I also am a non-drinker and well over 45, however I thought it was funny.

Well, not really. But this hilarious tequila ad certainly takes the respective couples' double-dating to another level.

The bed-hopping foursome all take turns at getting caught between the sheets - with the wrong partner.

First off, Cindy's hubby Rande walks in on her and Clooney lazing around together.

George is seen waking up as Rande opens the door, before shooting a surprised glance at Crawford.

The tongue-in-cheek advertisement is titled: 'It could happen, please drink responsibly' and is to promote Clooney and Gerber's new tequila brand, Casamigos.

It was written and produced by Clooney himself.

The former ER star has been firm friends with Rande and Cindy for years - and shares regular vacations with them and his latest squeeze at their Mexican retreat.

Based on finally seeing the video, I wonder if they weren't joking or just trying to gin up (no pun intended) interest by saying it was "loosely based on a true story."

And it has appeared to work; they've gotten more than 50,000+ hits on YouTube, not to mention hundreds of mentions in various tabs and rags. George Clooney is pretty amazing--he goes from zero appearances and stories to several thousand in a day. The power of the internet in full view!

I would have given it a (2) thumbs up, but I am BOYCOTTING anything that has Stacy in it! ET and OMG Insider last night started out the gate with Stacy and girlfriend pg GTC, and so now will find another program that won't be all about SK.
I liked George in bed with "Cindy" and wish they would not refer to her as former Super Model, once a Super Model always a super model, she looks better now then I did 30 years ago. I liked the commerial ad as my first BF name was Randy (y). And like I said if SK had not been in it would have loved it!

I noticed that too. I really don't want to comment about this anymore but I have come to realize we are the only ones really caring about this stuff. Whenever something is posted on sites like CB or elsewhere the comments are not as long as they used to be.CB may eventually talk about it but in the past it would have been there a lot sooner. I noticed on Yahoo(which is the OMG portal) that the video didn't make their trends list and it was off their news front kind of quickly. I think it got talked about but not with the voracity of other stories about other celebrities. He makes a blip and then something better comes along. He is becoming an elder statesman in Hollywood which doesn't hold as much excitement to the media. JMO of course.
