Yep, had an interesting day today. Started off the day worried about possible pirates in the sea heading towards us, and then ended up by checking life vests and sandbagging important areas.

I don't know what happened to the pirates but I'm happy as hell that the tsunami came to nothing. Got so many phone calls from journalists who were audibly disappointed that there wasn't any death or destruction for them to report on. Some of them still got their headlines anyway: I had to laugh at "Thailand hit by 4 inch tsunami waves"

There's never a dull moment lately for you Katie. Watch out for those pirates but check to see if Johnny Depp is among them. I'm glad everyone in your area is OK.

Hardly anything interesting happens in New Jersey, other than Snookie getting pregnant. LOL Now THAT'S pathetic.

Sorry your video didn't come through, it brought me to the COH index, but believe it or not, I love mice. My son had a rat snake once and had to feed it live mice. I felt sick every time he fed the snake, but there was one time he put a mouse in the snake glass cage. Aparently the snake wasn't hungry, mouse stayed safely in the corner for a few hours and I took it out and put it in a container padded with cotton balls. When my son's gf came over I gave it to her and she took care of it. IMO he was the luckiest mouse in the world. LOL

Does anyone remember in 2010 what is called "Miracle on the Hudsdon" when airline pilot Sollenberger saved his passengers lives by landing in the Hudson River? Thanks for the cat videos! I'm always a sucker for them. The mouse one was cute too. Even though it was short, I experienced quite the range of emotions. First, there was suspense (don't eat the cheese!!!), then there was horror (oh my gosh, he's dying!!!), then rage (this was supposed to be funny!!), then relief (yea!!), and finally happiness (hee hee hee!!).

My day started out crappy got ended on a high note. We've been teaching my daughter how to ride horses. In 2 days of riding, she is riding at a slow walk by herself. So proud. Her head is in the clouds tonight. lol
