buon April's fool everyone!

Had such a lame April Fools attempted on me (as in it was so plausible that it was totally beleivable and therefore not shocking as all good April Fool's pranks should be) that I almost yawned in the guy's face.

Yea, maybe it was cause it was early this morning as i got to work and I was sleepy as all heck!

Me too Lorna. A friend of mine married for 18 years called me on the phone today in tears and told me she and her husband "were done." She's one of the few friends of mine who's managed to have a stable relationship. Married once. Great family. Sucker that I am I immediately started crying and asking her what I could do. Shithead then said "April Fools!" and hung up on me.

Yesterday I read an article that said Robert Downey Jr had pulled out of making The Avengers 2 ! Shock Horror.

I played a worse April Fools on my husband who has a weak heart - okay feel free to hate me.

I woke him up and said, you know how Ive been dizzy, near faint for weeks now, and just feeling so yuck - well Im pregnant with our 4th, he jumps out of bed with "Oh no way" then smiled (like as if this would be good news!) and I yelled April Fools and ran away as fast as I could. He was relieved Im not but a little happy at the idea that it was a possibility???? - now booking a vasectomy as soon as I can!!

You are a bad girl theminis! Poor hubby...but really good one!

Isn't it awful of me - the look on his face was priceless - hubby said his heart skipped a beat for a minute, then a second later thought oh well how could 4 be harder than 3, that's when I hit him on the head and said its an April fools joke, not happening buddy -

How hard could one more be....yeah, I bet you wanted to bop him! He gets to leave during the day! My sis had 4, each 2 years apart. It was a war zone at her house for years!

Well to be honest, when all ours were little he definitely got up the most at night, he couldn't stay away from them, now he tries to hide from them!!

Well Lorna he's stopped laughing, now has a referral for vasectomy, I joke not, had to wipe that silly dreamy goofy look off his face somehow - seen that look before.....

True - ironic isn't it, spent 20 years getting my infertility investigated only to turn around and stress about falling pregnant, life takes some funny twists and turns...

This can only happen to me and before I begin I mean absolutely no offence to anyone regarding the below story.

Its school holidays here, so imagine very busy shopping centres and yes I decided to brave one of the biggest. I ventured to a new shopping centre that has a large muslim community. (read on, theres a point)

So we, as in me and 3 kiddies are walking around the shopping mall when my son noticed several muslim women walking towards us wearing the full black burka (only their eyes are visible) - he yells out Mum its Ninjas and takes a defensive Karate stance and starts making noises like hes going to attack, his 2 siblings follow suit - I almost died of embarrassment. Other people around us are laughing and laughing, the women don't know what to make of my 7 year old whose yelling out Power - rangers to the rescue!! Anyway, dragged them away and apologised to the women and explained to my kids that they are not Ninjas - then for the next hour we kept bumping into lots of women dressed that way and I could no longer contain my laughter at what had just happened -

Just picturing your son in a Ninja like attack stance just sent me off howling!

Lorna - Ive been laughing ever since, spontaneously, sure that people think Im mad! My son has told most of his friends that we have real live ninjas living near us - too funny.

The minis, your children sound so delightful! What a great time of life to have such an beautiful imagination and be able to act on it! Children are the best! So real and in the moment...

Very true Lighter - one other thing I love the most about children is that there is no pretence, they just express what they feel and think - they do give us lots of laughs too

Hey Mel! Feeling better. Ulcerative colitis still not under control but it's getting there. I'm not good with medicine and so none of the meds I've tried so far have worked very well. But it will happen. Am going to a naturopath next week.

I've changed my diet radically and the things that have happened as a result of that are amazing--skin issues have all disappeared! Aches and pains are gone. Hair is amazing. It's like a miracle.

Just had a theminis moment wondering where everyone was ... then checked the time. NYC & East Coasters almost 11 pm; London almost 4 am; Italy - almost 5 am; Oz - almost 1 pm.

That means most posters are sleeping, getting ready for sleep or running after their kids who are fighting Ninjas at the mall!

Wait, just realized - it's almost 5 am in Berlin. That means George probably just rolled over in bed (early call you know) reached next to him and found just a pillow and empty sheets. He's missing me right now! Awww, isn't that sweet.

Picture of a Coco Chanel cake I have organised for a friend, its not her birthday but she's been a bit down so thought this surprise would make her smile, nearest thing I could afford to a handbag which she loves..... Its made of chocolate mud and I know the cake will be delicious, seems a shame to cut it up though..

Hi guys, I just got back today. Had a fabbo holiday - left with a suitcase weighing 15kg and came back with 31kg!!! So you can imagine how seriously I've taken my shopping duties!

I've got to get to bed in a minute (jet lag) and tomorrow's a full on day in the office but I hope to be back online properly again tomorrow evening my time.

Looks like you all had fun without me. Hope the spring vernal equinox full moon brought happiness to everyone (there, now how's that for covering all major religious holidays that took place the past weeks?!)

Welcome back Katie - good to hear that you had fun, doubling weight of a suitcase is a good sign of that.

If I know my friend, I wont even get a taste of that cake, she will not want to cut it up either. Its part chocolate mud inside and part devils foodcake - I used the same cake designer for my daughters cake and an Easter cake, just delicious so I know this will be too.

Sorry Oof, that's exactly what bootcamp lady told me a few minutes ago when I sent her the picture - though she wasn't quite as polite. LOL

Triple Yikes - I tried to send a nice song on you tube to hubby but somehow it went to everyone in my entire inbox - teachers, bosses, ex-bosses, family, friends - thought oh well until I checked and instead of getting you tube video all the recipients got a website about some weightloss gimmick - never visited this website so figuring my IPOD has lost its mind - double triple oopsy - told Hubby and he said words I wont print because one of the emails went to a boss he had a falling out with who needs to lose about 100 pounds (OMG) - Im going to be getting a lot of angry emails soon - Funniest reply I got was from our Utility provider who stated that my email was received and they would have a response within 24 hrs - wait till an actual human checks it instead of a computer!!! Im laughing so much Im crying at the same time...

My friend keeps telling me Im such a TFU which is a Technical F..k Up, I think she's spot on..

p.s. funniest thing is that hubby is the only one who didn't get the message....
