Where has she gone, doesn't she have a show to promote. The week before her new show aired she was everywhere. Now there is nothing. Shouldn't she be promoting this new show?

She has tweeted that she has also attended a fashion line launch in Malibu where the other "big" names in attendance were Paris Hilton and John Stomas. It's called Asphalt Yacht Club and it seems to be a skateboard type fashion line and they sponsor (?) pro skaters.

Bit different from front row at NY Fashion Week but then, I guess those types of invites have all but shut down for her. Seems to have happened really quickly this time around.

Why wouldn't Stacy attend the Asphalt Yacht Club as she will be launching her own sportswear? She probably would have attended while dating George. Its good business sense.
Joan is wickly funny. The Fashion Police show Stacy was on just prior to break up, Joan was hysterical. Unfortunately, the video was edited.

Stacy Keibler Escapes From Hollywood: "I'll Just See Where Life Takes Me"

Stacy Keibler is getting out of Dodge. The blonde beauty is jetting out of Hollywood tomorrow for a European vacation.

"I'm going and winging it as I go," Keibler told me earlier today while promoting Supermarket Superstar, the new Lifetime competition series that she hosts that pits food entrepreneurs against each for the chance to have products sold at A&P.

"I'm going with a bunch friends," she said. "I have friends all over and I'll just see where life takes me before I have to come back and get back to work again."

The getaway will have balance. "I love to go out and go dancing but I also love to have my relaxing yoga and meditation times," she said.

The gal certainly deserves some time away. Not only is she newly single since splitting from George Clooney in June, but she also has Supermarket Superstar to support and an upcoming collection of women's apparel for the NFL to design with fashion company Meesh & Mia.

And Keibler continues to work on developing her own food line.

"I'm a spokesperson fro the American Cancer Society and one out of three people who get cancer is because of poor nutrition and diet," she said. "My goal is to create a healthy food line that's for everyone from 2 to 92."

The former wrestling star practices what she preaches. "I love to cook," Keibler said. "I have such a sweet tooth, but I don't eat a lot of sweets. I've been working on ways to create sugar-fee, dairy-free and gluten-free desert. It takes like ice cream and I can make chocolate sauces and caramel with no sugar, dairy or gluten."

SO wonder where she is going. Itlay? Spain? UK? Germany? France? mmmmmmhhhhh

So true Nicky. Although the same can be said for the reverse. Visiting America or the USA can mean anywhere. I remember a tour I did of England. We did an excursion to a little town in Wales and had a drink at the local pub. I told one of the local---a young guy---that I was from New Jersey and he asked if that was near Disney World? It was cute because he was serious....

Longtime ago a friend of mine had a job Interview in NY. When they met and talked the manager asked where she was from and she said Germany (you would think he checked before) and than he asked "Whichs state is that" LOL I love that story.

When hubby and I were in the USA we decided to stop at a restaurant in Alabama. We were asking for a table for 2 but the waitresses were saying they could not understand us. Finally one said we are playing with you we just love your accent and want to hear more. Thing is I was truly struggling to understand them.

I met once an Irish guy who went with his wife to FLorida for vacation. When they checked in at the hotel and asked for they reservation the reception guy said "Sorry do you speak English" hahaha. So funny. He had to change his accent to make it easier for the reception guy.

Even within the United States, the accents can sometimes be so thick between different areas, that repeating comes naturally. We, many of us, write and speak primarily the same language - English, Irish, Welch, Australians, Canadians, Americans. However, many times we seem to be speaking a "foreign language". The speed and pattern of our speech, along with the accents of our locales, make it mind boggling. Can you imagine what it would be like if we actually spoke to one another?

So true I have been out of New York about 15 years now but people always know where I am from. When I'm on the phone I try to speak a with a little less accent,, someone will always bring it are you from NY.
