I mean absolutely no snark by this comment, but bars are a familiar venue for her. She judges bartender contests, she's a partygirl, hosts SuperBowl parties, etc. I imagine it's 'typecasting' of sorts.

I think you are thinking of the show where she played a bartender in How I Met Your Mother, a few years back. I don't think she had a guest appearance on Two and A Half Men.

SK has a problem in Hollywood being cast if she is as tall or taller than the lead actors and actresses, unless her role would justify her height.
She doesn't have "the look" of a policewoman or security guard. I've noticed on CSI, for example, that because the leads are so very petite that all of the other cast members must also be very small.

I really owe you one; you so made my day. LOL Well I hope SK IS listening to me, as I think that that was a very, very nice thing for her to tweet, and it's frustrating when I feel that I'm "hitting my head against a brick wall" here on COH. I also am glad that she listened to my makeup tips and thus looks so much prettier and more natural. The sporty look really suits her. And G quoted the same Pastor Tim, whose daily jokes I regularly post, "be the person your dog thinks you are." Are these just coincidences?

I STRONGLY DISAGREE with the management of COH. Only a truly emotionally dysfunctional family, like the one I came from and have permanently 86'd, thinks that cutting someone down and insulting them for expressing their views is OK. We are spending our valuable free time here to relieve our stress and to share a laugh or other forms of pleasure. I am truly sad that some posters have felt it necessary to delete their accounts because of personal attacks. You will never know how DEVASTATED I was when I first got on COH and was PUBLICLY ACCUSED of the most HORRIBLE things. I was shocked by an online background investigation and having to defend pictures that I was highly compensated for taking, NOT the other way around. I have been REPEATEDLY THREATENED with being 86'd from COH, and given extremely little notice to defend myself. If you ever learn the very serious physical and financial emergencies that I was dealing with at the time you would understand my extreme anger at this abuse. That is why I truly and sincerely appreciate the very kind and thoughtful posters on COH that have made me not regret my repeated vow to leave this site. I am always very reluctant to post what I know about G, because I am never sure how others will react. I constantly run into people who have had very extensive conversations with G, or have worked with him or partied together. While almost everything is very positive, I'm not sure G would want the intimate details revealed.

I said that I stay because I have interacted with the most WONDERFUL people who have supported me and made me laugh on my most painful days. It's just said when I see others (definitely not trolls, like Sisieq) leaving COH because they feel attacked for stating their opinions. And I think management is repeatedly out-of-line for some of the attacks made. That is why I am sometimes so reluctant to post what I know to be true.

That's because I really do NOT know what others want to know. I have repeatedly invited others to PM me so that I can have a lengthy detailed exchange. Even relaying innocent information from crew members that have had extensive interaction with G, and have observed his obvious affair with Juliana, has resulted in negativity from other posters. Obviously I can't prove what I say; but if you understood how Hollywood operates you would not be at all surprised about actors indulging, and significant others' accepting indiscretions. That is why I keep saying that I don't believe everything that the paps right about the time lines of relationships. And why isn't Juliana, clearly more than a fling, ever shown in a history of who G had dated? She contrasts with the notion of the "type of girl" G usually picks to be his publicity escort.

No, the stuff about the magazine article was done by the magazine's PR team, not Stacy's. That's almost always the case whenever you read online or in a publication about an interview or article in another publication. The publication quoting the article needs to get information (and often approval to quote excerpts) from the original publication which means that the original publication is the one doing the promoting. Stacy and her PR team don't have the copyright of the interview or the photos so they can't be the ones sharing it with other publications.

Once the interview has been published then it could be a question of the original publication promoting their story to bosst sales or simply that the interview was deemed interesting enough by another publication to write about.

Very true, and there's absolutely nothing she can do about that. ANY girlfriend of George's will be in the spotlight. It's not something she could stop or prevent. She's in a profession where being seen and written about helps her career (let's call it that; I have my doubts whether we should dignify d-list celebritydom as a career) and she's dating one of the most famous and lusted after men on this planet. You don't have to hire a PR team full time. You can hire them as needed. And it's not incredibly expensive, so I'm sure SK could afford it. My friend, who's the actress, has used a PR firm for just that. When she's had a decent spot on a TV series or movie, (she'd also used them to help promote an interview she did for one of these) she contacts them, gives them the info, also tells them what publications she'd like to see it in (it doesn't always get into every publication she'd like sometimes) and they write blurbs to promote the spot. Of course, the more she uses them, the better they get to know her and where to place her. And yes, they have written the little articles used to promote her upcoming work - they don't have the pics that will be shown in the work, or maybe specifically the "word for word" (or in SK's case, the specific workout tips), but they're the ones doing the promoting. The magazine/Tv/movie doesn't mind cuz it's more promotion for them, without them having to pay for it.

I'm not saying that the magazine isn't promoting their articles also, but they aren't necessarily the only ones doing the promoting.

Do you have any idea how many times someone with "inside information" has come onto a George Clooney site and spewed this type of garbage? This is the very reason most people "attack first and ask questions later" (unfortunately for Davida she can attest to this, although it was unjustified) around here because we've gone through this so many times before with people alluding to information that no one else has.

If INDEED George was married and didn't want the public to know about it....then you and your "friends with proof" should have "kept your mouths closed" as you were allegedly "asked to do".

So either you are another "informationally challenged" poster looking for attention or you're just looking for attention and you're as full of bs as every other poster who has tried this before you.

Either way, if you had any "proof" this isn't the crowd to play "I've got a secret" with. JMO

Yes I had NO idea how many people claim to know information about G that may not be accurate. There is so much gossip about famous people that it is very difficult to determine the truth. Sometimes there are logical explanations for things; other times it is open for individual interpretation. That doesn't mean that Maggy isn't being honest in revealing that she has learned surprising information that would lead the rest of us to question G's behavior.
And it's hard to determine what must be kept private not to hurt G's reputation. Still I like to know the whole honest truth, even if I am then disappointed. I know now during my G encounter that I was in such a state of total shock that it has taken me a long time reading about him on COH to attempt to interpret some of the things that were discussed. So how could I possibly relay things that I have since learned from other industry employees that I have met, without giving out a great deal of background information about myself and them? As you all know, I have trouble being too verbose. LOL Still I guess it isn't too personal to reveal that G uses at least one identical stand-in on sets and in public situations for security. I swear I thought that they were twins.

Yeah, please, can we not rag on Maggy. It's not like she's had a reputation for this kind of post. In fact when I initially read it, I seriously wondered if her account had been hacked by someone else, it seemed so out of character to her typical contributions. I think she may have genuinely been given some information, valid or not, I don't know, but it upset her and she just blurted it out. Maybe wasn't the best to do, but it's done.

This type of thinig has been so inflammatory in the past, so maybe can we just give it some space and hopefully gain some perspective?

Just a suggestion. I'm not condemning anybody for posting their opinion, pro or con, k? So peace to all who frequent here.

Davida, ask yourself why if something as major as a "hidden wife" would be kept a secret, would you really have to "question" whether or not that would be harmful to G's reputation if that got out? If he was keeping a secret like that, WHY would someone come here and share it on a public forum, when he would have "allegedly" gone to such great lengths to conceal it?

And this statement was made to be inflammtory and to suggest something "worse" than hiding a wife in order to increase speculation that George is something other than what he seems.

There are people here playing games and they don't have good intentions towards George or his best interest at heart, as we have been experiencing recently. For us old timers, this is reminicent of other forums, where people were spreading rumors and lies to deliberately to hurt George's reputation and career. This is just a "new angle" to do the same. In fact, you don't even know if this person is a female "admirer" anymore than you know I am...people are NOT always what they seem.
