Real woman, yes! WAY TOO CUTE. I love her dress. Who is she wearing? I think instead of Hermes, she is wearing Kermes De Froge

Such a different Red Carpet....they actually dissect the films....just saw interview w/G....much more low key but at least they talked about the films no frivolous questions....

ROFL - Question - this BBC special is on only 90 minutes - 48 minutes into it and it's only the arrivals. Are they going to be showing the awards?????

OK I guess the actual award show is not for a few? hours. It would have been nice if BBC headlined this would just be arrivals. Does anyone know if the award show is going to be televised on BBC later?
Our posts crossed Mrs. Clooney - 8:00 pm tonight, thanks for the update.

NOT ME. I wanted George to take Miss Piggy to the BAFTAS. That would've made for cool photos. ( She is a real woman after all )
kermit would've been a litle upset though

Re: BAFTA - The Descendants & The Ides of March nominated
On the red carpet in one interview, in response to a viewer in Italy,
he said he was going to make another film in Italy. That's all the info.
The red carpet area is a wide road leading to Royal Opera House, closed for the day to traffic.
I've run down that road years ago after an opera finished late, to find a taxi to get to station for my last train !

Re: BAFTA - The Descendants & The Ides of March nominated
Just finished watching Red Carpet @ BAFTA. Very different from RCs in US. I felt there were not enough interviews with the personalities and just a bit too much disecting of the nominees. Would have rather seen interviews with all the nominees in that same length of time.
Of course, with the weather being sooo cooold there, we couldn't expect much in the fashion sense. (Maybe that's why SK didn't go. Couldn't display her great fashion sense, or she'd freeze her a&** off.
)

What a grand place. Such opulence. I'll bet the acoustics are spectacular. Hope there are some good views of it during the awards ceremony.

Re: BAFTA - The Descendants & The Ides of March nominated
I think Viola Davis summed it up nicely by saying that the BAFTAs are all about the craft of film-making, and not so much a personality contest. So not too many questions on who people were wearing tonight.
The actual awards show is being televised on the BBC here in the UK at 9pm, but I believe that, like in previous years, it is on a tape delay. The results are expected to start rolling in at about 8pm, and it sounds like the BBC will announce the winners as they come through, and not wait until the 9pm taped show.
