RYAN GOSLING AND GEORGE CLOONEY TEAM UP AT ‘IDES OF MARCH’ PREMIERE

Ryan Gosling and George Clooney shared a photo-op as they attended the Los Angeles premiere of Ides Of March at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (September 27).

Joined by co-stars Evan Rachel Wood and Marisa Tomei, the actor and the director looked equally debonaire as they debuted their new political flick about an idealistic staffer for a newbie presidential candidate who gets a crash course on dirty politics during his stint on the campaign trail.

Also in attendance? George’s latest lady love Stacy Keibler.

Meanwhile, Ryan chatted with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show on Monday night and he revealed some interesting advice from a member of his camp.

Despite his cool image, one of his agent’s team members has a different opinion.

Ryan shared a story with Jay about a meeting he had with Lisa Shields, a pal of his who is in charge of recording his late night appearances.

He shared: “She told me this last night, she says I’m trying too hard on talk shows. She said ‘You’re trying too hard to be cool.’ … I said ‘I’m going on Jay Leno tomorrow, what should I do?’ She said, ‘I don’t know, just don’t talk. Sit there and don’t talk.’ And I was like, ‘It’s a talk show, how do you not…’ And then she said, ‘Do something weird like sit behind his desk and get him to sit in a chair.’”

Inching closer to its big theatrical debut, the stars of "The Ides of March" stepped out for their film's premiere in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday night (September 27).

Looking his usual dapper self, leading man George Clooney opted for a sleek black suit as he was joined at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater by his A-list co-stars Evan Rachel Wood, Marisa Tomei and Ryan Gosling.

Also on hand to support the upcoming picture's west coast debut screening was George's latest lady Stacey Keibler, as well as "127 Hours" actress Kate Mara.

While recently talking about his latest project, Clooney offered up his thoughts of why the film has earned such widespread appeal, telling press, "Everywhere it's played, they think it's got something to do with their politics."

He added, "When I had to pitch this movie, I would say, 'OK, here's why it's universal and not just an American film about delegate counts.' I pitched the idea of a morality tale."

Marisa Tomei is on Conan tonight. She said when she was at Lake Como, they all went skinny dipping in the lake. She also said the cast took a 5 hour bus drive from Lake Como to Venice for the film festival.
