Last night at dinner from the restaurant 'Da Vittorio', where they were also Gianni Morandi, Luca Bizzarri and Paolo Kessisoglu.

Elisabetta Canalis and Belen Rodriguez arrived yesterday in San Remo. The showgirl argentina little is known: about where to stay and who has arrived while Elizabeth has rented a villa where, in the coming days, is not excluded that there might also get his George Clooney.

Question - why does she have hair extensions in? Her hair shorter looked good. The festival isn't until next month. I've never had extensions but I assumed that they were not always comfortable when used long term and could be a hassle to deal with. Although, she probably has the pricy salon ones. Her hair looks in good condition yet the extensions seem ratty and are clearly different. Maybe that the new style with all the celebs nowadays.

I'm wondering why they have to be there so soon. It is what 3 weeks away? What are they doing for 3 weeks? Maybe her hair was for more of her non modeling shots. LOL I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for george to show up for a visit. He is busy with his movie!

Ok, not trying to be contrary here but maybe I'm missing something because I don't understand why is it Betty's fault that Cavalli doesn't dress her properly? He's the designer, shouldn't it be HIS responsibility to make sure the fit and style of the clothing he KNOWS is going to be a focal point should be FLAWLESSLY made and fitted? Why is it the MODEL's responsibility? That zipper fail was HIS FAULT and all the other malfunctions she's had were the responsibility of the people who were dressing her. You don't blame the mannequins in the stores if they look bad, do you?

Eli, according to Italian media, will be wearing Armani Privé, Vivienne Westwood and Cavalli over the course of the festival. Quite interested to see her in Westwood, one of my favourite designers.

If I remember correctly, she/her PR people made a big point in articles to say that EC works with Cavalli and/or his people to choose/design the gowns.

Yes, at certain times EC resembles Cindy, but I also think Eva Cavalli brought up Cindy because Cindy wears ALOT of his gowns for sepecial events. Even to George's movie premiers.

But do you think Eva Cavalli really thought she'd be racking up points with CC by comparing her to EC? Strange strategy.

Considering Cavalli never asked her to rep his line prior to this, I'm doubtful she would feel confident enough to criticize anything he was dressing her in whether she was happy with it or not. She may resemble a famous super model but she couldn't possibly be under any illusions that she's on their level in the design world as an equal to real super models.

No, not at all. We presume that Cindy doesn't like EC because of never being in the same photo with her. Cindy also appears to not want to be near her. I doubt Eva would even know that.

And I wonder if Cindy will now say - I think I'll pass on that Cavalli dress thank you very much!

When she wore her ponytail (I think with some of the butt shots), her hair seemed rather thin. It'll be funny if she has all these extensions in now and then ends up wearing her hair in a ponytail for SanRemo.

I would, Mel. Cindy is an ICON. You don't start throwing around comparisons until after she's dead or lost all her looks. Seriously.

I would take a Cavalli dress, drench it in lighter fluid, and set it on FIRE. Publicly.

Belen offends Canalis tests Sanremo 2011!

I am not impressed with Cavalli's clothes that I've seen anyway - like I could afford them!!! We don't know any story, but it would be interesting to know if there is "bad blood" between Cindy and Eli.

What is a coach bag? I never pay attention to these things either. I enjoy living in a house and paying my rent. I can't justify that much for a handbag or a pair of shoes. A puppy yes cause that is about how much Dex cost me but he will live to 15 and is always fashionable although he does cause the dog poo which is why I won't buy expensive shoes.....sooooo I may have to rethink this.

I have seen a couple of dresses on others that have been ok and that dress she wore in Venice was nice although second hand. They just seem sloppy, don't fit right and they seem to wear Eli not the other way around.

I think it's hype. Since there have been pics of Eli in Italy since last week and it has been said she is in San Remo. She must be doing something! I expect we will hear more of this sort of thing. Unless Eli's PR people start something else.

I just love that Ely's people over the course of the relationship continue to issue commentary stating that she is so different from all the woman George has dated before because she is a tomboy who is not interested in fashion and the superficial perks of famous yet we see her away from an actual job or red carpet, she is decked out wearing and carrying something designer and costly. Tomboys don’t spend their money on multiple designer purses, spike heels and designer denim.

My question is, are her Cavalli dresses custom made for her, or is she getting them off the rack? I assumed they were being made for her, which would mean at least one fitting - Is this Roberto's idea of a good fit? When she looked in the mirror, did Eli think it looked good? Apparently so cuz that's what she always ends up with. And the zipper failure, that's just embarrassing. If you know that you're going to be seen by the world, wouldn't you make sure that what you were wearing looked and fit as good as it possibly could, despite who was designing it? If you had to, wouldn't you say, "This really doesn't suit me, or Could we take it in a little here or there?" Of course. I can't wait to see the outfit he designs especially for her for San Remo....guess we'll see what he really thinks of her....

I don't see eli being a wallflower she would be having some say in things. I can't believe anyone could think some of those dresses are fitted well at all least a professional taylor. Maybe Eli was too busy sunning herself to do any more then one! I think they will fix their act up for San Remo and with the other girl her competition Eli will go all out to outdo her for the most attention!

Not necessarily with more talent, but there's no doubt in my mind that she will try to outdo Belen and the rest of the characters for the most attention!

If George showed up that would be a major coup on her part. None of them are dating an Alist star. But it has been made clear he won't be going I guess she will just have to show them his texts!

It would just seem to me that an A list designer who knew his dress was going to be worn at the Oscars would have made damn sure that someone who knew what they were doing would be there to dress her. If it was MY NAME I know I would have gone the extra mile...but then, that's me.

For the Oscars, she had a professional hair dresser who the next day was on NBC Today show who said he was there and did EC's hair (that was a joke, IMHO). EC has at least 1 Italian girlfriend who lives in Los Angeles. I would think Cavalli has people working in Los Angeles/Beverly Hills. She could have had plenty of help, IMHO. She didn't even know how to work a wrap properly.

The only time she looked nice, IMHO, in a gown was Venice FF and Golden Globes - those gowns were off-the-rack. We know the VFF was because another actress wore it for Cannes and the GG gown was pretty, but the style was dated so that is why I'm thinking off-the-rack. Both gown were simple and easy for her to walk and look decent. The Emmy which gown was also simple and easy to wear. If I can find the article, I'll post it. I'm pretty sure I remember reading she worked with Cavalli for her Oscar gown. Sorry, but for me, she looked like crap - hair, makeup, gown.

The 2 London Red Carpets she looked crappy. Which is surprised because she has her good friend Val who lives there and was at the 2 premieres with her.

Rome she looked good, but I think that was an Armani and her makeup looked good for Rome, too.

As much as there were issues with the many dresses, there may be an issue from Ely’s end as to fittings knowledge as well. She doesn’t have a history with gowns – skimpy; low cut party girl outfits – yes. At the fittings, a number of issues could have occurred. She may not have worn the same underwear that she was going to wear under the dress on the red carpet so that can affect the fit. And considering she goes bra-less on the red carpet, when getting fitting, she may wear a bra so the dress is fitted to her body shape when wearing underwear. She may assume her breasts are as perky as they were when she was 22 (her career would tell her that they are) and that they look so fantastic that she doesn’t need to wear a bra and she just believes the dress will sit as well on her body when she is or isn’t wearing a bra. She also may not think, know or want to use Hollywood tape to keep the dress in place and manage the fit (especially around the cleavage). If you look at her videos pre George, everything was low cut without any support in place (underwear or tape-wise).

But as she Googles herself and gets Google alerts, would you not look at the pap pictures critically and go “in that white dress, my breasts were hanging too low – next time, wear a bra”, “red dress split – wear less bulky underwear under a snug fit gown to avoid zipper malfunction” “champagne coloured dress – too big in bust – next time use Hollywood tape to keep it in place so it doesn’t slip down my torso” “black dress – sheer, underwear visible. Wear flesh coloured underwear next time” etc. Her role is to be arm candy. Wouldn’t you try to do it well if not for your own career advancement in the field you want to work in but also to support your partner?

It just seems strange that she has so many red carpet issues. One or two – normal in a new environment whilst learning to adapt. The fact that they continue a year and a half later makes it look like there is more to it. Like it is about drawing focus or some form of wardrobe malfunction is the only way she likes she can get attention in that arena. I mean the only way she gets attention on her own is when she is parading for the paps on a beach in a bikini. These gown issues may just be her dressed version of getting attention through her body. But I don’t see how that would be to her advantage unless she really believes all oppress is good press.

Maybe she just has bad taste. It is not that difficult to know that you need the right undergarments and tape is your friend. you do not need to be on the red carpet ever to know this. Maybe she just does not want to be bothered.

Well there are women who depend on the attention that they get from their body and who therefore always have boobs almost hanging out, or make sure everyone knows that they're not wearing underwear under their short dress. Attention seekers who know they've got nothing else to offer other than the obvious.
