Elisabetta Canalis and George Clooney have chosen Mexico to spend the Christmas holidays. In the beautiful resort of Cabo San Lucas have officially asked the actor's hand to the former tissue, which seemed destined to be an "eternal sweetheart. " The entries on the "big step" seem somehow be substantiated by the facts as the pair has been reached on vacation by the parents of Elizabeth. "Who" published photos of the actor with his girlfriend and mother-in-law, and then the Canalis around Mexico to go sightseeing. I wonder if Dad and Mom Cesar Bruna Clooney have found "sympathetic".

Wearing another mismatched two-piece, the 32-year-old appeared oblivious to her wardrobe malfunction as she battled the ocean swash.
Elisabetta has showed off her stunning figure in a plethora of skimpy bikinis during her vacation with 49-year-old Clooney in recent days.
Yesterday the Italian model initially kept covered up in a white linen shirt before peeling it off to showcase her incredibly toned body as she strolled the sands.

She looked like she was having a great time as she chatted to her friends, occasionally stopping to take their picture and check her phone messages.
And Elisabetta had left Clooney back at their villa at the Los Cabos as she went to top up her tan.
The actor briefly emerged from their residence, but kept his body covered up in shorts and a T-shirt.

Elisabetta is on holiday in the Latin America country with her actor beau who she has been dating for 18 months.
On Sunday she was snapped in a very skimpy bikini while enjoying their Christmas break, not doubt hoping for an all-over tan.
And en route to the sun loungers, she couldn't resist grabbing her hunky actor boyfriend and giving him an affectionate kiss.

And while she was happy to soak up the sun in her green and black bikini, Clooney stayed covered up in long shorts and a white T-shirt.
The pair were then snapped strolling inside the resort together, with George leading the way inside their villa.
Earlier that day, he was seen greeting actress friend Cameron Diaz who was staying in the same resort with her baseball star boyfriend Alex Rodriguez and his children.

Elisabetta's parents also joined their daughter and George earlier on in their holiday after they were spotted leaving a restaurant with them on December 17.
Reports in German tabloid Bild suggested that George had invited them in order to ask them for Elisabetta's hand in marriage.
The paper said friends of the Italian actress have revealed that they are set to marry and being 'very old school', he wanted to to things the old-fashioned way.
However, a spokesperson for Clooney flatly denied the report.

It's funny that it was all about her, but every single site that I saw all had "George Clooney's girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis". She still is not identified on her own, or as "actress/presenter/*whatever* EC". I still find that amusing. And hopefully soon it will GC's ex-gf EC!!!!!!

Haha. Notice that once again only the foreign mags are saying anything at all about an engagement. George if he ever gets engaged would keep it very secret and not have such a public display. Looks like Betty stocked up on her bikinis this year plenty so everyone knows she is around a differant day. I wonder if George will stay put for New Years or if he will go back to LA.

Those bikini's and Malfunction were a good investment for her. But it seems like this has been all about Bette. George hasn't really participated that much he seems pretty mad that his holiday is being used like this. Yes, I can see it in her future the ex gf of George next time she is on the beach no one is going to care unless she finds another man that the paps are interested in.

It's exactly what they said when George went to Sardinia. the mags really want this to happen but I think they are just looking more and more stupid. Clearly George isn't getting engaged to her and these stories would be putting him off not getting her any closer to her goal. Wonder what excuse they will come up with when the split happens?

I'm sure it will be the work-related split. He's busy making a movie, she's doing her hosting gig and it just didn't work out. As if... Oh, and the nothing in common thing too.

It just doesn't seem to be happening the way it has in the past. George might be in love this time.Why her? only he knows.I keep waiting for the split, but they always come back together again after a brief separation,and when they do,we get family vacations like now!

I still find it interesting that they're really never papped alone together. Maybe George puts the brakes on and tells her NO, because "his private life is private". He can go under the radar so well. I just don't know if it's real or not. Me thinks not, just because it's George, but maybe he's changed...

I think it's real in the sense that she is around when he wants her to be and she gets busy when he wants her gone. He seems to like being surrounded by people and playing host. Stan has already said no to engagement rumors. I also think he knows what blogs are saying about this relationship and is enjoying toying with all of us.

George's biggest and best prank?? Let them all believe it's one way, then we'll go the other way? I'm just hoping that he goes with the dumping ending instead of the marriage ending.

I do believe George likes to rebel and play games, but I find it hard to believe that he would not only stay with her this long, spend as much time, and include her family, if he was just playing a prank etc.

I don't think it is a prank but I don't think it is serious either. Eli is exactly the same as the others. The have been spending alot of time apart then get together for abit then they will be apart again. Her parents there could be her doing cause of all the attention it got last time she bought them and George together. Eli isn't stupid and I'm sure she has been reading everything she knew it would start of more engagement rumours which it did. I have no doubt a split is far more likely then anything else it is just when George wants to pull the plug. I don't know about you but I think two people in love would seem to be well in love! George won't even look at her and seems quite happy with distance between them.

I was just kidding about the prank. I doubt that he could, or would, be able to enlist all those people to go along with something like that. And, I don't think he generally uses a whole lot of people in his prank-planning.

I always think of George as being the one in control in all of his relationships with women. So why would he allow her to invite her family and friends, if he didn't approve?

Happy New Year to all! Although, reading some articles that are published in some newspapers, it seems that rather than new, the coming years is really old. A week dedicated a piece to the beautiful Elisabetta Canalis, and twenty lines are the sum of banality, if not stupid. It seems, for content, a piece written a century ago, in early 900. The aggravating factor is that the signature really a woman.

Therefore, the article is entirely focused on the fact that Canalis should get married to George Clooney. It begins with an unlikely proverb, attributed to some kind of grandmothers (I, of proverbs, I know others in contrast): never follow a man around the world, if not with a ring on her finger and the wedding date already fixed. What is warning of a woman by giving up everything for men, it seems to me a wise advice, but maintain that a promise of marriage is worth any waiver, I think your idea of the past.

And then, to read, it appears that poor Elisabetta is already waiting to be married for 17 months (!) and when she says she lives by the day and that the marriage did not care, the article decides that he is lying. As if being spliced (also uses this expression: spliced) may be the only goal that deserves to be pursued. Lines are wasted to even say that 32 years are not so few and you need to be careful: the fantastic George lurking there are armies of fantastic, very young. The husband, in short, is a trophy to be secured.

But the lady who lives where George decides he wants "a sì" say to Elizabeth?

Oh she wants to marry him alright. She talks out of both sides of her mouth, whatever she thinks George might want to hear at any given time.

PigLove, Parisite is Paris Hilton's new boyfriend. I couldn't remember his name when I posted, so I thought that Parisite was appropriate. He was the one she was arrested with in Vegas and ended up losing his job with his brother at one of the big casinos.

I think it was TMZ or JJ were I saw it - JJ I think, and it didn't list Rande/Cindy either. They did say "others" were there, but didn't say the names. IF George was there, he'd have been mentioned.

No doubt if George was there it would have been mentioned. Poor Eli he just doesn't want to take her too any of the good parties does he? Unless he is already back in LA and her back in Italy. Maybe we will find out soon.

I posted on another thread that I watched the ABC show with George and John. It looks as if George's split-screen appearance was filmed at his house. Looks like his back deck. And it was current, as he said Happy New Year. So, he must be back in LA. Don't know about her - don't care!!! (as long as she's not there!!!)

Vi, maybe the "+ and -" show after you've posted a few times, kinda like the PMs? Don't know for sure, but I'm glad you can see them now.

I hope with all my heart they don't get married, but I also want George to be happy with his life choices, I really do. In our public view of this relationship, it doesn't look as if he is. However, he is an actor. But, honestly, I really don't see him committing to anyone now, or ever. Not for the long haul anyway.
