Tattoos can look sexy but it depends on what it is and placement. Eli's look bad cause they are in the wrong places and just look messy. Rarely do they look good with evening dresses. My nieces and nephews all have tatts of some type. I have thought of getting one and when I go to New Zealand next year to visit my brother may finally get my owl. My nephew is a highly respected and talented tattoo artist who owns a couple of shops and he wants to give me my first! Aunty, nephew bonding! I'm surprised Eli hasn't gotten one for George maybe when it is over she will have some other confusing one put on.

On her left arm, I believe it is "together alone" and the rose, the right arm has "love is pain" and the retooled eminem tat. Then she has that lizard or whatever on her right foot (I think). The story says that she has "a number of designs hidden"? Well, 300 gazillion people have seen almost every square inch of her body, and I've not seen any other tattoos, hidden for George or otherwise.

By the way, I have a little devil on my right upper arm (from my army days and yes, I was drunk) and a small purple heart above my left ankle.

I'm with you. I have also read someone else's prediction they would split early on. So many reasons this little lovefest is wrong. Can you honestly imagine George working with Betty? LOL

When she was first cast on Leverage I think we discussed at the old board how awful the rest of the cast is on a good day except for Tim Hutton and actually the level of writting brings him down a bit too in my opinion. He does the best he can with the scripts he has to work with but I'm appalled that the calibre of actor he is has to contend with such an overall pitiful show. Seems a waste of his talents to me but work is work I guess.

Lighter - yes, and I’ve also seen the BBC Hustle on which Leverage is based so double the pain as the original was very good. Really, Eli had such a small role in this, her input was absolutely minimal, and certainly imo couldn’t have done too much damage to what is a lamentably poorly acted and written series. Sure, Eli needs to stick to light frothy Italian stuff or give up acting altogether (the latter ideally) but wooden as she is/was in the clips I’ve seen, she is far from the worst thing about Leverage. Leverage is the worst thing about Leverage.

Elisabetta is expected to marry Hollywood star George Clooney!

The hardest bachelor in the world has become soft! George Clooney (49) will marry his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis (32)! Bild has learned from Elisabetta's friends.

George - very old school - asked her parents for her hand which is why Cesare and Bruna Canalis were flown in (at his expense) to Mexico. Here in Los Cabos George has a villa overlooking the sea.

Since June 2009, George and the sexy TV presenter have been a pair. Two months ago, he first met Elisabetta's parents.

Papa Cesare (a doctor) from Sardinia, a devout Catholic, is said to have taken George to task. The honor of his daughter ... Italians given. A wedding date has not been determined yet.

George never wanted to get married after his first marriage (1989-1993) with fellow actress Talia Balsam (51) again. "I've tried marriage and it did not work, " he said repeatedly, "I'm not the type for marriage." He had numerous affairs (Renée Zellweger, Elle MacPherson ...) - it was never serious for him.

What I find kind of funny is if George has his own villa there, why is he (and his friends) always in a common area like at a resort place? Am I missing something? Duh?! Oh, could it be that Elisabetta couldn't be photographed as easily at a "private" villa? And I know the translation problem that I have, but I found the line "The honor of his daughter ... Italians given" in the article amusing. Hasn't she been given and given and given and given???

Melbert, I believe his home is in a private community, community security, pool, golf, tennis, club, etc. thats why we only see photos of GC and co. around pool, the location near ocean is perfect for paps. The recent shots of him with CD,I think is in a nearby hotel-resort that over the past few years GC,CC, Randi, and co. have stayed at while waiting for their homes to be built. The private villas with small but private pool was perfect for photos Last year over the holidays was the new move , from pri.-villa to home.Thats why we only get photos of EC walking on beach, and even those have stopped.As far as the marriage rumors, they been around since the beginning of this relationship. Do any of you ex- crumbs remember the Italian poster who claimed to have insider info that the GC-EC contract was for 2 yrs. and might include a baby? Wasn't she fun!!!!! Not that I believe that, but I do think that GC can no longer get away with his past dating behavior, too many people commenting about it on public forums. When was the last time him and the boys spent some time in Vegas? Those days are past!

I agree Lucy...everyone is aware of his "love em and leave em" in just under a year cycle; timed to begin during the summer sometime and ending after the awards season has concluded. It's not exactly rocket science to figure out the pattern here. Did they really think no one would catch on?

But Betty needs to think of new and improved rumors to start because the old recycled ones aren't having the desired effect anymore. The vanishing wedding ring is just plain silly...Hohoho!

Elisabetta Canalis allegedly wants to have George Clooney’s baby

Elisabetta Canalis and George Clooney have been together a year and a half. That’s a long time (for Clooney), and it’s much longer than I had in my own private betting pool (me and my dog). Throughout their year-and-a-half relationship, there have been various tabloid stories about how Canalis had “tamed” Clooney, and how this was finally the girl who would get Clooney down the aisle. You’ve just got to roll your eyes, because they said that about all of Clooney’s other girls too. It’s a national pastime, theorizing how long Clooney’s latest escort/girlfriend will last. Personally, I think Canalis has lasted this long because she’s one clever hooker. Of course, I also think she must have accumulated some really disgusting and embarrassing dirt on Clooney that she’s blackmailing him with. Just a theory!

Anyway, this In Touch Weekly story is most definitely crap, but it amused me to no end:

A few of points:

*Elisabetta is 32? My bum.

*Of course Elisabetta “doesn’t even really care if they get married”. As I said, she’s a clever hooker. Why sign up for a lifetime when you’re getting paid by the week?

*I think the tabloids are using euphemisms at this point. “Laid-back European mentality” = cocaine, threesomes and light bondage.

*Not to get too harsh (whatever), but would Eli be able to reproduce naturally? Wasn’t she born a man? She has an Adam’s apple.

*Does anyone else enjoy that Eli’s descriptor is now “Italian television star”? You know what they’re talking about, right? Her completely ridiculous and embarrassing appearance on Leverage! She’s a television star now!

Isn't George's parents devout Catholic's, too? So, doing something because her farther is a devout Catholic, IMHO, insults his parents for his behavior over the years.

I think you're right Sisieq, but since George is an "adult", they don't really have a say in his antics. I'm sure they don't approve, but I believe they've both been quoted as saying they don't interfer in George's life. Well, maybe they SHOULD!!!!!

Did George Clooney invite his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis‘ parents to Mexico in order to ask them for her hand in marriage?

That’s what the German tabloid Bild claims.

According to the outlet, Canalis’ so-called “friends” have revealed that she and Clooney will wed.

Clooney is “very old school,” explains Bild, so he flew Cesare and Bruna Canalis to Los Cabos, Mexico to request their permission to marry Elisabetta.

Of course, what the tabloid fails to give is an actual date for the wedding.

That’s because – surprise! – there is no wedding.

When asked whether the latest story is true, a rep for Clooney told Gossip Cop flatly, “No.”

And I hope the "rep" was Stan. That way we'll know it's NO!

Stan always denies things "flatly."

Gosh she and her friends are getting desperate marriage and a baby rumour within a day of each other. But super Stan is on the case! I'm sure he just has a bunch of denials printed up and just presses send now days. I think George's pattern is one of the reasons Eli has lasted so long not because of some deep love between her and George. The whole parents thing is such a joke if it was such an important event wouldn't Nick and Nina be there? I actually think her folks are there to keep her company, Ben and a couple of the other boys seems to be there with George. We will have to wait and see if there are any other pics or if this was just a quick visit for her. We should hear stories of what he gave her for christmas maybe another piece of invisible jewelry. LOL

What's interesting to me, is that if her PR people are truly behind this German and possibly In Touch articles, EC is only hurting herself. Unless the split is really going to happen soon and EC THINKS she's the one hurting George with these type of articles. IMHO it just makes her more the fool.

I think Bette is passed caring and is just trying everything she can. But I just don't think it will work this time. I think in the next couple of weeks we will get that they have split. I'm thinking George will want it out before San Remo cause that is going to bring alot of focus because of her role in it. I'm sure Eli would be happy to hang around and continue the games but George wants to get serious with his work and he really looks so over it.

When I first saw that tat months ago, I thought that was what caught George's eye, if the rumors are to be believed. I don't know, hers just seem tacky to me, misplaced, out of balance, etc. And she definitely is SHOWING IT OFF in that pic. "I'm so proud of my kinky tattoo!"
