Email addresses don't need any validation, you can get a dozen of them in a few minutes. News and political blogs (and the George Clooney imdb message board) are swamped with them. Website traffic from outside the US can be blocked though, and giving a US zipcode won't help. They would have to get a proxy IP address in the US and they cost money and will probably get Eli's fans put on some Pentagon watchlist, but I don't think she has any fans.

The video and live streaming is definitely blocked on the abc site, can't tell with the voting until it's open. It was much more entertaining trying to get around the international block on NBC's live Oscar streaming from outside the US than watching the Oscars would have been.

I think the PR guy is going for the cool I don't care look. Not all PR folks look like Stan. Maybe they are dating he is very cute and he has paid off. Eli got on DWTS and her PR seems to be working overtime getting her out there. It's when DWTS is over that counts though. I think they will find it really hard to get her work after this.

He told Life & Style magazine: “I’m actually shocked that I’m doing it – I’m very low-key and really don’t like being in the spotlight, but my mom forced me. That’s the real reason I’m doing it!”

He said: “She (Kris) forced Kim to do it, too. [My family] told me that I had better beat Kim as she’s a terrible dancer, and if I couldn’t do this, then I had a problem. I’m hoping that I do well.”

If that's true (and that is one tabloid story that COULD be true), what a sad state of affairs for that family. I knew that Kris (mom) pimps her kids out, but this is just sad.

With Kris I could believe it you would think by now they wouldn't need anymore money. It explains why Rob isn't too worried about not showing up to training etc. I don't think he is going to last sounds like one dysfunctional family. I wonder if the has contracts ready for any kids they have?

Do you think George has, or will text Eli, "You were great! You shouldv'e won!" ????

Isnt' this his standard DWTS text to gfs, or x-gfs?

I'm thinking probably not this time around! He did it for Lisa but they seemed to stay in some sort of contact I don't think George is ready for any with Eli yet or ever will be! But I'm sure her PR will let everyone know if he does or doesn't.

As a contestant in Dancing with the Stars, Elisabetta Canalis was invited to a highly-rated american talk show….
We are talking about the famous talkshow of Ellen DeGeneres, famous American actress and comedian. Canalis who performed last Monday in the dancing show, saving herself from elimination, since she arrived second to the last, was invited to the talkshow “Ellen” together with her partner, the Ukrainian Val Chmerkovskiy. Elisabetta, dressed in white pants and a pinkish T-shirt, retold – in a funny way – her little misadventure when during the rehearsal she had dislocated her shoulder, apparently this is not the first time; she has had this problem since childhood (maybe because she is too thin). The beautiful showgirl, always smiling, has however admitted that the jury did not appreciate her work, but the reason was that she was a bit nervous and Val jokingly said that that it was his fault! One of the judges, she said, told me that I looked like a lost girl!
Ellen has then asked her if her nerves were due to the split from George Clooney and Elisabetta gave a very short explanation only to say that it was the show that made her nervous because in life relationships come and go.
Besides being attacked by the Kardashian sisters on Twitter (their little brother was eliminated by only one point from Canalis?????????????), ELI was also attacked by MARINA RIPA DI MEANA for her PETA campaign.
It is extremely easy to get naked in this era of Photoshop and when you are still young. I did it, and had a lot of fun as a real “bitch – old hag” when I was 60 years of age, shooting only with camera and film, completely naked with the slogan “The only fur that I am not ashamed to wear”. And it was not an “I see it, I don’t see it” (meaning she had completely frontal nudity). Could it be that the countess was envious?

La Canalis, che ha debuttato lunedì scorso nello show danzereccio, salvandosi per un pelo dall’eliminazione, visto che è arrivata penultima, ha partecipato al talk “Ellen” in compagnia del suo partner di ballo, l’ucraino Val Chmerkovskiy.
Elisabetta, vestita con un pantalone bianco e una t-shirt rosa, ha raccontato – molto divertita – la sua piccola disavventura durante le prove dello show: si è infatti slogata un braccio, e pare che non sia la prima volta che le succede: sin da quando era bambina le è capitato varie volte di avere questi problemi (forse perchè è un po’ troppo magra).
La bellissima showgirl, molto sorridente, ha poi ammesso che il suo lavoro non è stato molto apprezzato dai giudici, ma il fatto è che lei era piuttosto nervosetta, e Val ha scherzato che forse lo era proprio a causa sua!

Oltre ad essere stata attaccata dalle sorelle Kardashian su Twitter (perchè il loro fratellino è stato eliminato per un solo punto di distacco rispetto alla Canalis), Eli ha subito anche l’attacco di Marina Ripa di Meana, in merito alla sua campagna per la Peta:
È facile spogliarsi nell’era di Photoshop e nel pieno dell’avvenenza. Io l’ho fatto, divertendomi come una pazza, da autentica “carampana”: a 60 anni suonati, scattando con la pellicola, mi sono spogliata integralmente con lo slogan “L’unica pelliccia che non mi vergogno di indossare”. In another article the countess was giving Elisabetta some tips saying that when you start a campaign like Peta it should not stop at the naked poster on Rodeo Drive but you have to carry on the fight and dedicate yourself completely to the cause which a lot of celebrities seem to forget once the nude picture has been displayed.

Countess Marina Ripa di Meana is a writer who has an intriguing, and equally turbulent, past. Her first marriage was with duke Alessandro Lante della Rovere, and she was also lover to the painter Franco Angeli. She is now married to Carlo Ripa di Meana, who was leader for a time of the green party.
This is not the first time Marina has taken her clothes off. Beside her publicity campaign as the Italian ambassador of the IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare – USA), against fur coats and animal skins where she appeared completely nude on billboards across Italy with the slogan “The only fur I’m not ashamed to wear“.
Marina Ripa di Meana has also stripped for the battle against tumours – at age 66 - whether to battle or scare them, we’re not sure (she suffered from lung cancer and underwent 2 surgeries in 5 years

That looks just so uncomfortable for her. I don't think the US PETA campaign pictures are quite as risque. Although Eli was a close second. They blurred out Eli's nippies. Might be foreign.

Thought the PETA campaign was an International thing. If they blurred out EC's nipples in US ads, that's just our censorship in play. I'm pretty sure things are done differently overseas.

She is the ambassador for Italy for the IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare – USA), against fur coats and animal skins. I think here we would call "spokeswoman" rather than ambassador. I like this organization because they include animal skins which would include all of Elisabetta's shoes and Prada handbags including the recently purchased DIVA bag by Cavalli that she wore with a white dress at a restaurant for one of her a BFF birthday less than a month ago.

This picture was from an article on cancer. She had lung cancer and has had 2 surgeries in the last 5 years. If you think she is good looking now you should have seen her at Elisabetta's age, absolutely stunning, very classy and always a redhead.

....and according to Marina they photoshopped Elisabetta so much than even her "fur" was gone (sorry about that - remember we were discussing about that). Marina did a frontal nude poster and her ad was " this is the only fur I am going to wear". It was quite shocking but she always had a fantastic body even now who is close to 70 and proud NEVER to have been photoshopped. That's what the articles are all about..that everybody looks great in photoshop.

I do not think that the campaign PETA is against the leather used for bags and shoes ..... think the only meat that is eaten all over the world, veal or beef. The campaign against the killing of animals for the sole purpose of using leather or fur. The U.S. with all the burgers you may eat to keep your shoes and handbags to the world. I was in Madagascar this summer, I saw a crocodile farms, the leather in Europe to send the bags and eat the meat but is also good. I think that it is not right to kill an animal for fur, but the man always kills to eat

Marina may be correct about photoshopping (probably airbrushed), however, since Eli is constantly wearing those skimpy bikinis, isn't it rather obvious that she must get frequent bikini waxings which would also remove her "fur". "Furless" models (bikini or nude) is a normal occurance.

It's true lela, animals are killed unhumanly for their meat too. The only meat I eat is chicken and they are killed for their meat also. Humans are carnivores unfortunately.

I need help here because I do not know all of Peta's regulations but I seem to recall seeing a group of them protesting here in Washington and advising people to go vegetarian, am I wrong??

But the man of nature is not a vegetarian, I agree with some animal rights campaign against the killing of fur animals, whales and dolphins in Japan, seals, etc. in Greenland. but not when you overdo and you want a vegetarian world.

Hi MM - no, wool is shaven from sheep - they aren't killed for it. Nice to know, huh?

In fact, shaving a sheep is a humane thing to do. Keeps them cooler in summer. Ever see how unattractive a sheep looks if his coat gets too long. Kinda like Nick Nolte or Mickey Rourke, real shaggy and dirty looking.

Getting ready to watch DWTS. EC is wearing blue, nice gown. Looks like they're doing a quick step to start off. Dress is very nice. Hope we'll see improvement in the dance to go along with the improvement in the dress.

Boy, just saw Kristin and Mark doing the Quick Step. It'll be great to see if EC and Val can cut it. Judges were cutting with comments but gave them good marks. I think it was 22.

LOL Love the new PETA meaning. Actually PETA is against leather it is against pretty much anything involving animals there are even some extremists who don't believe we should have dogs and cats as pets! They would like the world to be vegan and Eli would have to give up all those handbags if they had their way. They concentrate on fur it seems cause leather would be a lot for people to give up. They said in their letter that change takes time and they hope they celebs who do the PETA ads take on board what they are supposed to be supporting and eventually learn that leather and eating meat is wrong in the long run. Wool is doing the sheep a huge favour it can kill them and cause all sorts of problems if you don't shear a sheep. I once saw a couple of sheep that had been abandoned and hadn't been sheared in a long time they could barely walk and their coats pulled on their skin. You should have seen them once they had gotten sheared they jumped around like little lambs they were so happy! Ugg boots are out cause sheep are killed for their skin. Sadly I do like my meat if only they weren't so tasty!

My God, Eli and Val got a 21. She was a lot better this week than last. I loved her blue dress. They showed them at rehersals and she gave Val a hard time. I imagine the way she gave G a hard time when they were dating. LOL

Well she behaved like a spoiled diva in rehearsal this past week with Val, times up betta put up or find a job that doesn't require talent. Back after show.

I'm glad she did better. Please let us know who gets lower scores. She may be safe again this week! I hope we get to see it. Sounds like she has stopped being so nervous. Someone else said the judges called them the Bickersons I guess she and HeVal hit heads but as long as she get's the job done I doubt he cares.

Yes she was a spoiled diva, but was it staged. She did pretty well tonight. They got 21 and a much improved performance comment from judges. Wonder if she can keep it up.

After performance, Tom made a comment about the Bickersons. Went right over her head. Also, her English this week wasn't as good as last week.

Wow she was mean during rehearsal scene. I wouldn't want to get into a fight with her. But I got to say she danced quite well and looked good in her dress.

She has a hot temper. Maybe we saw some of what George saw.

I went over to the board they aren't too happy about Rob K according to some he was so wooden and the judges all fell over themselves praising him! Eli has been snarky to HeVal before so that isn't surprising. Maybe she can't concentrate on two things at the same time she either dances well and speaks english not so well or the other way around! LOL Or she skipped those lessons this week to concentrate more on the dancing?

Carson & Anna got 18, lower than Val & Eli.

If she continues to be "snarky" with Val at rehersals I wonder how long it will be before he punches her lights out. LOL He seemed to lose his patience this past week.

Now we see what poor G went through with her.

I thnk she looked great and performed great. I think the fight is just staged, this goes on every year. She did much better this week than last.

"Maybe we saw what George saw" took the words right out of my mouth PG. While watching her and Val I was thinking if this is what George had to deal with, the sex had to of been great! This dance was better, but she doesn't seem to put out the effort that someone like Ricki, don't know if it's just the way they edit, but her behavior didn't surprise me.
