Maybe SK is shy and insecure and doing what she thinks will earn her "brownie points" with the world so the world will think she is suited for George. Maybe this is why she sends all those tweets that we think are immature or desparate. Maybe she wants the world to see her as something George would be proud of and this is the only way she knows how.

But do you really think that would work? Her management team work for her not the other way around. They wouldn't even suggest it unless she was tweeting things that could be consider racism, offensive or career damaging. What she does now doesn't hurt her career. It engages with her fan base who aren't expcting her to be anything other than the hot ex-wrestler with really long legs. Her tweets are simply fluff and so is her career. She is not someone serious where tweeting about cleanses and only retweeting comments about how hot she is is somehow going to affect or hurt her image, career or undermine her chance at scoring serious dramatic acting roles (because she had no chance to begin with). Do her tweets sound like she is in junior high - sure. But she doesn't work for the UN - her job is opening events and photo shoots. No great mental acumen is required for that job.

All these twittering celebs think their tweets impart wisdom and guidance that people could not get anywhere else. Her website is a prime example of ego and self importance - she believes she is some type of lifestyle expert with great depth and insight that she can share with the masses who must adore her. Her ego would not allow for someone else to tweet on her behalf - much like most self involved celebs. There is no need for substance to her tweets because there seems to be no substance to her. What she tweets is a reflection of who she is. And her tweets showcase her as being as shallow as a kiddies wadding pool.

He turned Farah Fawcett-Majors into a well-paid celeb by controlling her image and molding her into a sexy but likable star. I'm sure that he NEVER would have let her write anything on her own if it made her look silly. PR teams and managers, like those surrounding presidential candidates, market and sell. Why do you think Charlie Sheen's quit? They could no longer control their "property."

She absolutely has a PR team, but not because she's dating George, because they're trying to advance her career. When you see these little articles that are talking about articles that she's in (for example, this article that's promoting her spread in Self)- these are written and put out by her PR, who consequently, are the ones that got her the spread in Self to begin with. All these articles that are talking about SK's latest promo or whatever, that's being done by her PR team (unless it's a gossip site, like lainey, or JJ). They "shop" her around to the magazines, any promo work that may be in the near future, etc., and they "offer" Stacy. BECAUSE she's dating George, she's an easy sell right now, as most people/mags/venues are more than willing to use the clout that Clooney's name brings. Her PR tells you about the spreads/promo events, so that you see and hear about it.
I'm sure she's had a PR team for awhile, it's just that now that she's dating GC, they have alot more opportunity to promote her, and it's alot easier for them. The articles and blurbs have been out there, we just never noticed, cuz we never noticed her before GC....
Insofar as her twits, unless she goes off the deep end, or she asks them for help, they're not going to say anything. Lot's of lesser known actors/entertainers have PR, or use PR companies to try and help their careers.

For a moment, I thought Stacy Keibler had managed to escort her way onto yet another magazine cover, but that’s not the case. Stacy isn’t on the cover of the new issue of Self Magazine, she’s just featured within the latest issue. She has a fashion photo shoot, plus a shoot to show us her workout and stuff. Do you mind if I avoid the photos of her squatting? Because I don’t want to look at it really – you can see some of the pics here. Stacy has a great figure, for sure. But does she have anything beyond that? Unknown. Here are some excerpts from her interview:

Stacy on being healthy: “Being healthy and living a healthy lifestyle have always been very important to me. I pride myself in taking care of my mind, body and soul, and not just through exercise.”

Workouts as therapy: “It’s also about getting enough sleep, eating nutritious and organic meals and taking good care of my skin. Working out makes me feel strong and energized every time. It’s my therapy for my mind and my body.”

On her passion for working out: “I love the adrenaline rush exercising gives me—and the payoff isn’t bad, either!”

On confidence: “Confidence comes from within and as long as you are putting forth a respectable effort to take good care of yourself, you should feel confident about that path. Just be sure to set realistic goals for yourself and design a plan that works for you. Also, remember that everyone gets there at their own pace and there’s no losing when you take charge.”

It struck me as I read this piece, and glanced through Stacy’s Twitter feed, that Stacy is trying to make exercise and diet one of her “issues”. As in, this is what she wants to be known for and she wants to make “being healthy” her cause and her go-to soundbyte. She’s been tweeting about various childhood obesity causes too. So… is Stacy trying to be like Michelle Obama? Is that how Stacy is positioning herself? Like, George Clooney is like Pres. Obama, all serious issues and foreign policy and such, and Stacy gets to come in with the “soft” issues like “getting healthy” and “getting people to exercise.” I really don’t think this is a coincidence.

She wants to be FLOTUS?? Maybe she realizes that she's "not all that" in the talent department, i.e. films and TV, whereas she seems to have a talent in fitness. Hey, good for her. However, I don't think she should be at all the alcohol openings, as that seems a little oxymoronish.

Have I missed an interview in which she actually describes how she takes care of her mind, body, and soul? If she wants to be known as a fitness or diet "expert" then she needs to do more than a few brief interviews vaguely telling us to be confident, to cleanse, to eat healthy, and then show us how to do a lunge. Gosh, I could do all that! Anyways, I don't follow her closely, so perhaps she has more explicitly described the hows and whys and someone can point me to an article.

I wonder if she's considered writing a regular column for a fitness magazine. It seems like her blog was just her re-posting what others had written, so maybe writing isn't something she'd be interested in. Perhaps she doesn't actually want to be a fitness/diet/health expert but it's the only thing interviewers ask her about.

I have no idea what Stacy uses, I just thought I'd mention this, but I've noticed that a lot of healthy eating, organic loving types (I'm one too... sometimes) forget about all the crap they lather all over their bodies. Many of the suntan lotions, make-up, anti-aging creams, etc have carcinogens and estrogen mimics in them (among other things). There are alternatives, but many don't think about it. Perhaps that's why they need to cleanse so often.

Okay, I thought I'd throw in a couple of real posts once in awhile, rather than just read yours and then play games.

Nope, you have not missed an interview that isn't a superficial interview. I have been following her interviews since she started dating GC and there is no depth to them. Either the gossip sites and magazines are purposely keeping them that way or she only gives those type of interviews. They are middle of the road, non controversial and you don't pick up much about her interviews. She wrote for some magazine a few years ago on fitness and her blog is nothing. If she was a writer and had great communication skills ,I think she would have been discovered by now, especially with all the attention she was getting om DWTS and the WWE. Her body is her job and talent and she is only an expert on her body. I suspect she couldn't even be a motivational speaker, because how she keeps fit doesn't transfer to the average woman. I work out 5 to 6 times a week, eat healthy and watch my weight, but I am not an expert.

I remember all the snarky comments Jane Fonda had when her fitness videos came out many years ago....and look at her now she's in her 70's...she looks great !

A large percentage of Americans ARE out-of-shape, and worse, have health related illnesses. We are the first generation in years that will die earlier than our parents because of poor diet. Unlike SK most women have had children and do not have the time for sufficient exercise, nor the money to spend on personal trainers and diet programs. While SK is to be admired for her athleticism, I don't see how the average woman can relate to her "fitness tips."

I hope Stacy does go the fitness exercise career way. Think it could be a good move. I actually saw the latest movie she was in Dysfunctional Friends, and she really isn't a very good actress, not as bad as Eli, but pretty close.

I could see her as a "celebrity" fitness person, but she has a few strikes against her on this end too. She needs to learn and start speaking something besides the obvious fitness fluff, and hope she stays away from recommending cleanses, just not going to work for the average overweight person and probably a bit dangerous. Also, the 42 inch legs makes her hard to relate to. I could work out for years but still stuck with my 5'4" frame. If you look at the comments on Celebitchy apparently there are a lot of us, and many ways to describe it. But still think this is her best career bet.

Jane Fonda was and is a wonderful actress and political activist IMO you can't compare the two. Also, Jane Fonda she has written and talked about ,that during her exercise phase she had an eating disorder and drinking disorder and dealt with a bad body image.

Also, I think if Stacy is going to pursue the health and fitness arena and be taken seriously, she needs to take some voice and speaking lessons. Her voice gets annoying after awhile. Also, pursuing a certification or degree in fitness or nutrition wouldn't hurt.

Health segments are every where. Would need to see her health and fitness degree before I would hire her to speak on the subject professionally.

What I do want to know though - in older pictures the tops of her legs are HUGE. How did she get them slimmed down so quickly?

Before anyone gets mad at me, I still say she has one hell of a body, and I think her thighs are larger because she is so muscular, but she is most definitely photoshopped, and they do it to all. About Jane Fonda, yes with enuff money you too, can look like her. She will always be Hanoi Jane to me. I think the only reason she wasnt tried for treason during the Viet Nam war was because daddy had money.

Too true. After working all day, getting home in time to make dinner, clean the dishes, start a load of wash, help the kids with any homework projects, and get stuff ready for the next day, honestly, I don't have the time, much less the energy......

Sorry, but when/if I do get the energy and motivation, I work out to tapes at home or on Netflix - I can get a really good 40 minute workout done, vs. dressing in half way decent workout clothes, driving to the gym, working out, driving home - about a two hour journey..

I don't understand Lelacorb. It is a great article on adult acne, written by Dr. Joshua Zeichner, director of cosmetic and clinical research in the dermatology department at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Did you send the wrong article or didn't you understand this one? Stacy did not write it, one of the top dermatologist in the country did.

it was actually about acne. He was mentioned in it but so were other dermatologists including one from Boston.
