Carrying his cellphone doesn't mean he was in contact with her. Maybe as he was walking out he took it out to make a call. I take my cellphone with me whereever I go but that is just me.......and half the world. Like everyone says, he is a busy man and has lots of friends and business associates to keep in touch with so maybe that is why he has his phone. Who knows what the truth is really. I'm just sayin. I'll go back into hiding now. Thanks.

I read on one of the gossip sites that she's dognapped George's dog Einstein and says if he wants the dog back he'll have to come and get him. Of couse that may not be true, but it's still funny. That woman will go no lengths to see George again. LOL

@m4rose: you're right, it doesn't mean anything, but she used to carry the cell phone everywhere (Cannes, dinner with friends) and then, Signorini came with this BS they exchanged 60 messages a day...

Yep, in places like LA and NY, I think to a certain extent that's the case. Further afield, it's probably more a question of whether a restaurant employee happens to know someone to call and thinks it's worth their while calling the sighting in.

There are also restauants where the paps wait outside because they know this is the place that celebs come.

Most times I've seen George papped while inside a restaurant he never has a cell phone out. Can't remember were but I read that he will excuse himself from the table and check his messages elsewhere. Most of us with cells check them after leaving restaurant walking to car that's very common behavior.

YES one month and we are finally getting some regular out and about livin my life George pics! He looks good not heartbroken, just livin his life.

Sounds like her PR team are trying to make out they could get back together. It isn't going to happen and saying this sort of stuff isn't going to help her especially if she wants a career in LA! I think if she shows up in LA George may return to Italy and he will make sure everyone knows it so she can't plant they have been meeting secretly stories! He needs to change his number or ignore her if she is texting him all the time not so sure she would actually get through! I've seen George with his phone a few times I would think he knows the ignore button by now. If she keeps harrassing him etc he may take some other sort of action and her LA career would come to a complete stop. He took so long getting rid off her I don't see him doing a round two she costs too much and really she isn't value for money!

I saw this comment on twitter and loved it in respect to having a phone out in a restaurant. Whenever I see someone with their phone laying on the table if public view as if they are so important they must be contactable at all time, I think of this:

If you are in a restaurant with your phone on the table ringing out loud, you are an asshole. Or a 14 year old girl.

Lucy - wasn't there a shot of George at a dinner with Betty and frineds where he was showing a picture on his phone and Betty looked pissed off?

He was showing her the comments from Open House!!!!!

I'm not a fan of mobile phones at any dinner table. But then I'm not attached to mine either. It seems to have bought out such bad manners in people and it shows people who have bad manners. Some of those stupid ring tones annoy me too especially the screaming ones. I actually have an old style phone at my house that doesn't need electricity people thought I was a little daffy until the electricity went down in the street and they hadn't charged their phones! Haha

I don't have a mobile phone at all. When I first tell people about this they look really astonished, but then I like to say:
"I'm so important that people call back if they haven't reached me."

Some of those stupid ring tones annoy me too especially the screaming ones

my ring tone is really cool it's me singing come away with me in the night...

@watching don't know, but if there is I couldn't blame him, betta is of the generation that never puts their cells down, they take them to the bathroom so they don't miss a call.
@ Dex, not attached to mine either, yes I do take the cell with me when I leave the house, because there are no longer public phones anywhere, but I don't carry it around with me, my husband is always telling me "I tried to call but you didn't answer" cause I don't have the damn phone attached to my hand!

I'm with you Dex - with a land phone you don't have as much interference and if someone wants to talk to me, they'll call back.

I do have a cellphone (kids insisted) but only use it at airport to let my pickup know I've landed so they can leave home and come and get me. Also so I can call AAA if I have car trouble. It sit in my purse and I forget it's there until it chirps at me that battery's low.

I personally like to alone time when I'm not a slave to communication.

Haha! I only know one phone number by heart (my father's) because it hasn't changed in 30 years. If I lost my mobile phone, I wouldn't be able to call anyone!

Working on it - but it's going to take me a while!

I still keep an old style phone book with all my numbers in it. I remember mine and my older sisters by heart. Mobile numbers are too long for me to remember and people keep changing them. At least my old phone is push button if it was a dial one the nieces and nephews wouldn't know what to do, too much work to dial!

Please don't post anything in this thread, i'm using it to add the old stories together.

My daughter changes her cells/no's so fast I can't memorize them, so I have to keep a top 20 list on my fridge of no's need to know.

Just because they're not dating,doesn't mean he still isn't in contact with her, or wants to be in contact with her. And why would her PR put something like this out? Doesn't make her look good, makes her look desparate....

OMG! I love that Twitter quote. Another thing that annoys me is the bluetooth headsets where people think they have to scream for the other person to hear. And they walk around with it on, whether they are on a call or not. I always want to ask them if they got my order correct because they look like they are working a fast food drive thru window. I could go on & on about the lack of cell phone manners in the world today.

I'm not a slave to my cell phone either. I like having it for emergencies and to send a quick text or photo to the hubby who works out of town 5 days a week and I think I used all of 2 minutes on actual calls last month. I do use texting quite a bit though. Frankly, I like my privacy and don't want people contacting me 24/7.

I agree about not liking the blue tooth thing in the ear. When I see people with that it looks to me like a hearing aid, lame. LOL

My son has a bluetooth device in his car which I think is a good idea.

I don't know about anyone else, but I miss the Betty jokes. I knew this would happen when they broke up! She was a thorn in his side but she was colorful. I'd even settle for a bikini shot! LOL

I don't miss Betty at all and will be glad when she no longer comes up as a topic on this forum. Nobody talks much about Sarah and that's fine with me. Just would like to move on and stop giving this bitch more attention! JMO

Agree about no chance in hell, unless you keep rerunning "Solaris" and then there's the little peek in "The American". Guess we have to take what we can get!

Someone I know wore out her Solaris dvd by hitting the pause so often . It was a dead give away when a group of us got together at her house to watch Soloris and the dvd skipped and stuck at everyones favorite scenes!

Uh oh, she's busted! And you don't have to tell me it was the naked butt dance. I tell you Natasha (the actress) is one lucky lady to get to dance naked with George.

Actually I wore out my dvd pause button pausing so many times in Clooney's movies.

Lorna, I am with you on this one. Whenever I read something about her, it upsets me a lot. Luckily, I read Osho to relax,lol

It will quieten down unless Bette does a big interview and starts popping up everywhere and there are stories about her that mention George. Sarah stayed around for awhile afterwards then once she worked out she wouldn't get anywhere disappeared. I don't think we have heard the last of Bette. We should get something soon she has been quiet for a little while. My mum used to say the calm before a storm!

IF I remember correctly SL lasted from break-up till Sundance FF where she made a public ass of herself before fading away, and giving up on fame.

George Clooney's ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis is reportedly set to rake in the cash after splitting from the Hollywood star.

The Italian model and TV personality, who was dumped by Clooney in June after two years together, has landed a string of multi-million dollar sponsorship deals, according to the New York Post.

Canalis is believed to have already signed deals worth $10m in her native Italy and is now said to be turning her attention to making it big in the US.

'She has made $10m from deals in Italy, and will soon be popping up everywhere,' an insider told the New York Post.

We keep hearing about these big deals in the US but so far not a word and the popping up everywhere could be the PETA add I'm not even sure if they pay for that being a charity. It's funny though because a few of her endorsements have ended and not resigned her so are they talking about those ones? Usually you hear about what someone is up to makes me really wonder if there is a big deal with Bette or they are trying to get interest in her. To me it makes no sense people signing her up now when they had 2 years too when she was with George when they would have gotten a lot more mileage out of her relationship with him. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me! I thought she might go on Dancing With The Stars but they don't want anymore D listers so that wipes out Bette.

Betty featured in 101 sexiest soccer wives at place 19 out of 101.

This Italian actress is known for most recently dating George Clooney, before it ended in June, but she likes athletes as well.

Her relationship with Italian footballer Christian Vieri was much publicized and got plenty of attention.

Especially from us regarding the excitement of being able to include her on this list.
