Well I, for one, believe he was out with the boys having fun and feeling fine… looking fine… and doing fine! Don’t think the reporter made a mistake. She didn’t say what city these pics were taken in just that they were in Como and by the looks of the overnight bag on the back of George’s bike, they tootled to visit Bono and these pics are of them tootling back to Como. Has anyone here been on an overland bike ride? Oh… guess not. super cool

On zimbio it's dated aug. 26 and it's said :

George Clooney gets his male bonding time in with friends Bono and Rande Gerber. After chatting with Bono, Clooney and Gerber head off on their motorcycles and ride off to Lake Como.

So for me, george & co went in France by motorcycle & spend a few days with Bono and then they leave as they came by motorcycle.

It’s like going a long distance on a motorcycle. In other words, they went for a long holiday on land, via motorcycles. I would have loved to be on the back of that bike with him, too! Laughing

George loves long bike rides. He went through Italy on bikes with the boys some years back. He stops when he wants etc it is good that he could get away and have some bloke time! Looks like he needed it. As long as it doesn't rain it would be fun.

Yeah, I've seen quite a few pics of George's villa and the surrounding countryside. That def wasn't his villa. And these gossip sites tend to buy pics from other sites and don't always use the same info. Maybe because they want to seem a little different. That may be why some of the dates were screwdled. George does visit France and the Casinos a lot. Think he really likes them. Hey when you don't have to worry about the bread, gambling can be fun, as long as you know you limits and are just enjoying yourself. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I think he likes to visit those places for a couple reasons. The suave Danny Ocean persona that most everyone enjoyed him as, preceeds him into the room. He LOVES the attention. Secondly, it's a guy thing. I don't believe I've ever heard him taking any of his "girls" into any casino-type places, just his guy friends. Again, he LOVES the attention.

Same story, different characters with Don, Matt and even Brad. I wonder if he does this with all of his friends? Or, did it just happen once, and he changes the names depending on the interview? He's done the clothes altering gag twice that we know of - once with Richard and once with Matt. So, we know he's a repeater!!

George Clooney opened his Italian villa as a vacation retreat to some of his close friends this weekend. The actor, producer, director and screenwriter known for his bachelor lifestyle was spotted with good friends Rande Gerber and U2 rocker Bono having a great time. According to RadarOnline, the group was dressed in leathers and helmets while out for an Italian countryside motorcycle road trip. If anything can be said about the actor wearing leathers, it's that he had to look incredibly sexy!

Also seen sunning themselves while looking out at beautiful Lake Como, were Bono's wife and children. Cindy Crawford, wife of Rande Gerber, was reportedly at LAX Sunday waiting to take a flight to meet with everyone in Italy. George Clooney is known to be generous with his friends, and loves to enjoy life. It's no wonder his friends want to spend time at his place in Italy, and the villa is bound to be awesome too, given his good taste.

George Clooney is not only known for his looks, acting, Golden Globe and Academy Awards but is also a social activist promoting peace and an end to the conflict in Darfur. He and fellow actor Don Cheadle were presented with the Summit Peace Award by the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates in Rome on December 13, 2007. It's no wonder women fall over themselves trying to catch his eye. Of course, the attempts to snare him as a husband are bound to failure, but he's certainly good for a good time!

Well, if this report is true, then it looks like Bono and family was invited to George’s for the weekend. Last week George and Randee visited Bono, those are the pictures we saw earlier, and we haven’t seen the leather-clad pics of George yet! I hope we get to, if they exist! And Cindi flew out to meet them yesterday. Yay!

I would love to post it but it's in IPG format and won't copy for me. I saved it in my "pictures'. All I could do is use it temporarily as my avatar but it's pretty graphic and wouldn't be very nice. LOL

It's the kind of place where most people would love to able to host a dinner party or spend a weekend living it up.
So unsurprisingly, George Clooney, 50, often invites his friends to join him at his home on Lake Como in Italy.
This week his guests included supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber.

The 45-year-old and her German spouse took to the waters of Lake Como for a spot of paddleboarding.
Cindy and Rande both stood atop large boards and calmly paddled along enjoying the amazing views around the famous lake.
Wearing a short pattered summer dress, Cindy took the paddling in her stride on her yellow board.

And husband Rande was just as casual with his paddling, soaking up the Italian sun as he glided across the water.
A far cry from the weekend's activities when he was seen dressed up in leathers ready to hit the road with Clooney and U2 star Bono, who is also staying at the Hollywood actor's plush lakeside villa.
Bono, his wife Alison and their children are also staying at Clooney's Italian home, which would make for a full house in any normal home but would barely fill the 30-room villa.

George later took a large group of friends out for a boat ride on the lake, where they enjoyed drinks as dusk began to fall.
Last year the villa was at the centre of a bidding war after Clooney became disillusioned with being photographed at the plush villa and put it up for sale.
It was reported that David Beckham was keen to buy it, and negotiations reportedly reached an 'advanced stage'.
