Didn't think about the Darfur possibility. Actually, it's Fashion Week in Tel Aviv and I wonder if she isn't doing some more promotional stuff and there for that. Other possibility is that George is there for Monuments and she tagged along but I don't think so. Think this might be a work related trip, if it's real. The guy is apparently a photographer and works with "models."

Well that's one place to go if you want to hide from the paps. I'm assuming with GC scouting locations for Monuments?

Nothing very substantial in the book about Israel I don't think, but if he's doing Monuments Europe work, this would be quite an attractive offer

I'd bet that's in Jerusalem--and the guy who tweeted is a photographer. That photo wasn't taken by George or just anybody. Somebody with a little talent took that picture. It looks like someplace in the Middle East to me but what do I know?

Based on the tweet by the Israeli guy who said welcome to Israel yesterday, and the architecture of that dome, I'd bet she's really there.

Tel Aviv is a big vacation spot with people and they have been holding fashion week. Probably just stacy taking another vacation since she's been working so hard lately, or she's finding religion to help with the pain of the break up. She doesnt tweet these games when she's with George because he is private about where he is most of the time so I think it's safe to say he's not there with her and why would he be since they have broken up.

Sorry TNMC but I don't think they're done yet...think she's probably doing something promotional--for a magazine or for one of the designers at the Tel Aviv Fashion Show.

Have to agree with Silly Girl. Think they'll show up next week for their annual Thanksgiving trip to Cabo. I haven't been a hardcore fan like all of you for very long but he seems like he pretty much has a routine and he goes to Cabo for Thanksgiving. He also seems unable to be alone when he's not working so, if for no other reason, I think he'll want her there for "company."

I do think her work load has slowed for some reason. Either she doesn't sell well with the general public or she's preparing for that supermarket thing.

TNMC I have learned that wishing won't make it so! otherwise George should be walking through my front door about now, nope just checked, its not happening!

Would love to see Israel one day, my friend came back a year ago from there and the photos she took were breathtaking.

Tel Aviv will be hosting two different Fashion Weeks in November, following a split between the event's two original organizers. Last week, the producer of the original Israeli Fashion Week, Moti Reif, withdrew from the event following disagreements with his partner in last year's production, Ofir Lev.

Last year the two put on the fashion exhibition following a 20-year hiatus. Israel Fashion Week-Gindi Tel Aviv will take place from November 26 to 28 in the Gindi wholesale market complex in south Tel Aviv, its organizers announced on Monday, while the original Israel Fashion Week will be held at the same venue as last year, Hatachana, in south Tel Aviv from November 11 to November 13.

Among the fashion houses slated to take part in the Gindi event will be Dorin Frankfurt, Sasson Kedem, Dorit Bar Or, Shai Shalom and Gideon and Karen Oberson. Among the designers taking part in Lev's event are Liora Taragan and Shenkar College of Engineering and Design graduates including Mark Goldenberg. Lev also confirmed that Rossella Jardini, head of the Italian fashion house Moschino, will present its 2013 spring-summer collection at the event.

Both Reif and Lev told Haaretz that they were concerned over the future of the fashion industry following the split. "This is a badge of shame for us," Lev said, although he added that he sees no problem in both events taking place in the same month in the same city. However, a major concern is that government bodies such as the Export Institute or the Tourism Ministry will cancel their participation in future events due to such bickering between organizers, which would indeed be a blow to the local industry.

Still, something positive might emerge from the situation. Most of the established fashion houses are close to Reif and several followed him to the Gindi event, while Lev's event will be devoted mostly to young designers who did not receive exposure in last year's Lev-Reif Fashion Week. Haaretz has learned that Gindi Holdings will be footing the bill for most of Reif's event and that participants' fees will be earmarked for scholarships for fashion students.

Lev's representatives declined to reveal the names of buyers who would be attending his event since they said negotiations were still underway. However, Lev himself confirmed that the president of the Italian buyers' association, Beppe Angiolini, would be attending, "not to buy but to see what is happening in Israel."

It is not yet known whether Reif will be inviting buyers from abroad; however, one of the designers participating in his event said that in any case, "it is impossible to take orders for the spring-summer 2013 collection at the end of November. By this time they should be working on production of the collection."

Lev said that orders were not the focus at this stage but rather making connections with international buyers, which took time and patience. "It is ridiculous for people to expect results in a year or two," he said.

Well if she is there by herself she should be careful. The violence is terrible right now. Maybe she is having a spiritual moment, she looks serious in this photo. The original tweeter is an entertainment journalist and his latest tweets have been all about the violence. It is a very sad situation.

I'm with sillygirl - there's been serious bombing there especially today so she and everyone else in Israel at the moment needs to be careful and diligent as the violence is getting intense.

I saw on the news that a rocket from Gaza hit an apartment building in Israel today and several civilians have been killed.

Stacy and company had better leave Israel ASAP, because the situation is getting intense. I know that there have been conflict flare-ups in the modern history of that country, but I really believe that this conflict will escalate into a massive war.

There's speculation on another site I visit that this may be an old picture because she's wearing the same blouse from over a year ago before she first hooked up with George. Also wondering why her hair is brunette now. Did she dye it?

She started going darker a month or so back. Al those fashion sites said she did it because of the season. Don't know if the photos are old or not but doubt it. Her face looks pretty thin. Think it's pretty clear she went to Israel, probably for a job but I would think, in light of the increase of tensions there, she's already home.

Cindi, I think it's the light, and I've also noticed that she's not averse to wearing clothes more than twice if she likes them. Good for her

Funny how she's wearing exactly the same combo. She must be someone who buys things together and wears them together all the time. My mom was like that. Whatever outfit she would buy with the help of a sales person, she never deviated from wearing it exactly as it was put together at first. No matter how hard we'd try to get her to wear a different sweater with a top...no go!

She's either home or on her way home. I am not sure how I feel about what she says, it is more than "unfortunate"...it is incredibly sad.

I can't imagine living in either Israel or Gaza. You would have to learn to live life in spite of all the terror around you. I do wish our news was a little more balanced. From what I read on multiple international news sites, including the BBC and Al Jazeera, this started this time because the Israeli army accidentally killed a young boy. Hamas then used the incident as an excuse to lob missiles into Israel. Netanyahu, who is up for re-election in January, has now decided to retaliate in a big way. I guess I'm a cynic but I wonder if this big action has something to do with getting a PM who isn't very popular right now re-elected.

And now, because leaders on both sides--Hamas and Netanyahu--are determined to maintain power in their respective areas, the people who live in both areas are going to suffer. It boggles the mind.

Just another dumb ass comment from stacy that war and killing is "unfortunate". Girl just needs to stop talking.
