I would be highly shocked if she is at the fundraiser.

I think Stacy finally decided to go it alone and to get back to living her life. She's suddenly tweeting prolifically again. She's out and about going to parties with friends. I'd bet their doing the friends with benefits deal and if so, more power to her! I doubt she will be at the fundraiser as well. She's not that kind of "friend."

I don't think she will be at the Obama dinner. I just can't see him paying $40 grand to have her there with him.

Mm, I have a feeling he might want her there...........

I think it would be interesting to see how George acts if she was there. There's been so much attention given to him recently with his charms at the WHCD and the Lecture dinner. I wonder if having the GF around would put a damper on it.
She hasn't been mentioned being there in any stories....we'll find out soon enough!

Maybe, she has learned to not talk about up coming events with what happened the last time she opened her mouth.

We might not know exactly if she will be at the fundraiser or not. Obama had a 40,000 dollar a person dinner about 2 to 3 weeks ago in Washington DC and there was no press and no cameras. It was a smaller affair and not in Hollywood, Secret Service kept the paps very far away and there was no red carpet treatment. I was watching CNN and they said the donors for these fundraising events like to be kept very anonymous. Important people and big money.

Not to disagree with you, lovelylois, but perhaps this event might be an exception, since it was so highly publicized and the element of raffling off two invitations has intensely raised public interest. I'm not suggesting cameras will in the event, but it might (hopefully) get more coverage than other fundraising events.

Marc Jacobs is just an attention grabber. He seriously needs to stop with the foolish dressing.

You always get more pap attention for being the "worst dressed" than the best. Designers are intentionally over-the-top for these show events. Still look closely and you'll see the new trends in ready-to-wear fashion for next season. I hope you like lace, see-through (with more appropriate undergarments), metallic, less black, etc.

Lace and see through along with metallic are big this season already. I like lace and the see through is alright when done properly.

As the host do you think that George really has to pay the 40k given he is the host?? Also I read that he has maxed out his allowable donations to Obama this year and the cost of the tickets are donations to the Obama campaign.

TNMC I think you are right....it his way of helping now that he can't donate any more money. Maybe he gave her the money to donate...although that is getting around the sysytem. I would think that would be a lot of money for her to give away.

If Stacy there not will be at the dinner with Obama I do not think because George has the problem of money (usually those invite not pay and if Stacy is his GF....!) but perhaps he has issues about what Stacy would say (we have heard many interviews Stacy and I do not think that we can think that she is a person who can have conversations challenging).
