They didn't mention that some did bring significant others, like at that table with George was Kate Capshaw and Steven Spielberg and Kate Hudson did bring her husband Matt Bellamy, but he wasn't photographed much. I think Reese Witherspoon brought her husband, but he wasn't photographed. These are the people who are on the top of my head. I notice that the press mentions the celeb without mentioning if they came with anyone.

I also realized that George is speaking tonight in Texas, maybe to avoid where's Stacy again, she went out to a concert to show she is busy , while he is at his lecture.

I don't think so on Getty there is a picture of Viola Davis and her husband at the party.

You know, I totally understand the frustration with what seems like pre-pubescent behavior on Stacy's part, but if I may respectfully remind those of us who are older, social media IS the younger generation's way of expressing themselves.

Is it juvenile? Yes. But this is hip and relevant to our children. We live in a cyber saturated society (say that 3 times fast!) and this is how communication has "evolved". (I hate that word) I think we have DEvolved as a culture, regressed to a self absorbed and disconnected mindset.

I don't mean to sermonize, but I don't simply relegate Stacy's tweets as juvenile. She is a product of her generation and this is how they communicate. Which only heightens the incompatibility between her and George. Again, IMO.

maybe this is just a new form of communication and it is mainly geared for a younger generation but i tried it and failed and I can admit it

I know it's what the youth use but , I don't think of 30 as youth more an adult. I have two 20 somethings and neither of them can stand twitter. I know to each his own , I just don't understand the need to let everyone know what your doing all the time. I actually miss the world without cell phones. I know they come in handy but, sometimes for me anyway its nice to not be reached.

I actually use twitter quite a lot, and it isn't all trivial. I know a lot of colleagues who use it to publicize events, charities and business info. Those who only see the " gossip celebrity" side of it would probably be surprised. I follow a fair amount of people on twitter that are younger than Stacy, and I can't think of a one of them that would tweet breakup songs to let us know they broke up with someone. Not saying that is what she did. She could have just had a break up song moment. But if she did that, then she is acting like a juvenile. That was my point, and I don't think twitter has anything to do with it. Just saying, and I know a lot of people think that social media is a detriment to society, but as with anything it is how people use it.

She is big and fat, and she may as well just shave the rest of that coloured hair off as she is already half bald. I agree madsky, I use Twitter but mostly follow publishing sites or news sites oh and food sites....some friends too. I use it to talk about my blog and books...I like it because it is great way to get news about the things I like quickly. Although sometimes I do try to send messages to people I am not talking to.....surreptitiously of course Wink

Since you mentioned cell phone's please let me get on my soap box for a moment and off topic.....
WHY must people sit in the public restrooms on the toilet talking on the cell phone? Do people really want to hear you take care of bussiness on the other end? Do you not realize someone else is waiting to use that toilet? Why must people use there cell phones while in line at a register counter and expect the clerk to wait for them finish there conversation and hold up the line? Get out of line or get off the DAM phone! Rude PEOPLE bug the hell out of me! Also phones and driving do not mix, I see so many drivers that seem drunk while on their phones.

I'm also agreeing with you.....it's not the fact that she uses twitter that I find immature, it's her actual tweets. It's what she's saying, not where she's saying it. That's not a product of her generation, that's a product of her immaturity.

Did she spend any time with George on his birthday? Those split rumours are about to get much louder.

What we know for sure:
She spent Saturday afternoon judging a tequila contest at Mixology in LA then she tweeted about going out drinking with girlfriends for Cinco de Mayo.
As of Monday evening, she is now in NY to go out to the Met afterparties.

What we don't know:
If they are still together? When she flew out of LA?
If still together, would you choose to be on the other side of the country from your bf the day after his bday just to go to some parties? I am assuming there is no paycheque involved here due to the sheer number of celebs in NY at these events so attending is something she wants to do. At some point, she flew across country either on his birthday (making split stories very plausible) or she took an flight the day of the event. She could have taken a flight on Monday morning but would she then be gearing up to have a late night on the town from 11pm onwards after an 6-7 hour flight? Cause that is a long day - especially when you are about to go out and face the paps.

If they haven't split up then she's leaving herself very open to rumours that they have, although I'm not sure the gossip magazines are as watchful as us when it comes to piecing together timelines.

Only time will tell, but this time I'm feeling cautiously optimistic that maybe they really have split up.

We'll see.

Didn't know which thread to put this on, but this is interesting.

Gail Kim's and Robert Irvine's wedding is May 10, 2012 (same day as fundraiser) in Napa Valley. Gail and Stacy have apparently been good friends since Stacy's wrestling days and Gail was one of Stacy's friends who was in Cabo for Stacy's birthday in October 2011. I believe Gail still wrestles.

People get married every day of the week . Actually weddings depending on where they are being held are cheaper on weekdays than weekends.
