We had such a beautiful week here on the East Coast that we got spoiled....today is chilly and overcast....back to scarves and coats......it s the little things like a beautiful day that are really important....enjoy your sunshine!

@cindigirl I'm going to have to vigorously disagree with you about Hunger Games! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and the 2 hours and 20 minutes FLEW by for me.

At one point I had to remind myself "it's only a movie, it's only a movie" as I held back tears. didn't help the gals behind me they were sobbing!

I loved it, loved it, loved it.

I've never read the books and only went because of all the hype and press. There was a line waiting for the theater to open for the first showing when I got there an HOUR early.

Yesterday, when I went, the first two shows were sold out so I bought a ticket for today and thought that an hour in advance I'd be ok for getting a seat.

Good thing I did that - but there were still at least 25 people in line in front of me.

One funny thing - I ended up next to a family of four who ended up sitting in three seats cause their two kids were kinda little and by the time they got to the seats there was no way they could sit together and there was really no place for me to move.

So we just all kinda sat close. Nice family, I got to talking with the mom while the dad was down getting the snacks.

Anyway, dad comes back and they start showing the previews which included the 3D version of Titanic that is coming out next month.

Anyway, the trailer is almost over and the wife says, "Ah Leo!" and then the dad says, "You know he dies at the end." And the mom says, "I KNOW!!" kinda pissy-like and then I said to the dad, "Hey way to kill the ending for her." And he says, "I know I do it all the time!" We all started howling like idiots.

But in the end, I just loved the Hunger Games and am going to recommend it to all my friends! I might also go out and get the books!

That's OK Lorna, everyone has different tastes. I don't happen to like movies of that sort. Kinda like the Twilight series. I only went because my gf wanted me to go with her. I sort of had a temper tantrum when I posted about it, sorry. Plus my a** hurt after sitting through that long movie. LOL

Me, I won't go see a Twilight movie - I have seen a couple on TV they've played them on FX I think in the last couple of months. But I was just so surprised at how much I enjoyed Hunger Games. So no worries! Thanks again for the laugh!

My daughter just saw HG and said it was really good, she wasn't expecting to like the film, but it surprised her.

Oooh, I'm so excited! I'm going to Como in June for one of my best friends' wedding. Just waiting for her to confirm the date and pay the deposit for the venue then I'm booking my tickets. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!!

And airfare is expensive. Of course, since I am part of Clooney's PR firm I guess I could ask for the private jet to take me to Milan. Jeeze, can you effing believe it?!!?? It's 1am and I get a phone call on my mobile phone forwarded on from one of our hotel's switchboard: it's a tour operator who wants to make an urgent reservation. There's no one working in the reservations department overnight so rather than take a message they had the genius idea of forwarding the phone call to me and waking me up.

I'm pissed off like hell! I'm sitting in bed in my pyjames listening to some woman from the US complain to me about her reservation. Nothing I can do to help her and in the end she agrees to email us.

It sounds like they think you're a 24/7 employee on call. Sorry about that!
