Elisabetta Canalis - girlfriend 2009 - 2011 part 6

Yeah, we said this about every girlfriend, "she's not going to go quietly" . . . "this one will talk to the press" . . . etc etc but none of them do.

She was a celeb in her country before she met him and she will continue to be so afterwards. She's made good money before and while dating him and will continue to make good money. That's the nature of celebdom.

Will she make it outside her country? I have my doubts but if she's in LA, she's there for a reason.

Very old photos and she was on a boat with Angelo Vita and several other friends including Vita's girfriend of several years, Marica on a trip along the Amalfi coast. Naturally the paps did not include any of the friends in the pics.

They have even made it look like they are kissing in some of the pictures. But Eli does look happy! I wonder when she will show up next?

It looks that way but there is no kissing. Angelo Vita and his girfriend Monica (I thought it was Marica) and several other friends had invited Elisabeth Canalis to join them on a trip along the Amalfi Coast, naturally the paps made sure that the pics taken only showed Eli and Angelo but I have seen several pics where there are at least 6 others people around them and some of them are ladies. In the meantime there are speculation as to the cause of the split with George Clooney, the “contract” issue is still coming up (they are talking about a similar situation with the marriage of Alberto I of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock) and those who think that George is not gay and is seeing Sandra Bullock.

Elisabetta Canalis herself admitted, around the time of the cooking show with Alfonso Signorini, that she had never cooked a day in her life. The famous "tomato sauce" that even Merryl Streep thought was delicious was always prepared by the cook (a lady) at Villa Oleandra and Elisabetta said that she had tried many times to watch her so she could learn but that she has never tried it.

Socimar, I never claimed to believe on it, but it is a funny and silly gossip.

LOL With George out of town this is the best they can come up with. It makes it hard to have secret meetings etc without him around and he clearly wants everyone to know he isn't in LA. Should take her awhile poor dogs are probably just getting sauce to eat.

Sounds to me like she's making fun of the sauce. Probably the same way Australians are amazed to learn of 'famous' Australian products sold in the UK that aren't even available in Australia.

She is making fun of the name "PLEASE" is translated in English please, not a name that befits a tomato sauce. That sauce isn't Italian, but probably a Chinese product like mozzarella and prosciutto sold in America. For me it was a nightmare to shop in New York trying to eat healthy because almost all products were from China even though they had Italian names, only a few shops selling original products and dear.

Don't buy it. I am Italian living in the US and it is the worst ever. Also the blogs listed under the link above quote it as horrible and they make fun of Americans who say they like it (a few translations below).

Make your own sauce, it does not take much time but make sure you buy canned Italian plum tomatoes from San Marzano which is a town near Salerno (Naples), southern Italy. Don't buy the ones that are called San Marzano BUT are not imported just grown in California from, I believe San Marzano seeds. You need the sun of Naples to ripe these tomatoes so that they are almost sweet, no acidity whatsoever, few or no seeds, etc..

Yes, we do cindigirl. But it does help to be able to put a good meal on the table, for when they get peckish after their heart's desire is achieved. Prego would never do it for my man. Like Gee, he was in love with good Italian food - and on Staten Island, we have more good Italian restaurants than any other ethnicity.

Lelacorb, while I agree about Prego being less than great, I don't understand your comments about Chinese products sold in America. I purchase quite a lot of Italian cheeses and meats and have never seen any that came from China. While we do have many shops that specialize in Italian imports, even our Supermarkets have both Italian imports and also excellent "Italian cheeses" made in America in our cheese producing areas like Wisconsin. I'm sorry you had so much trouble trying to eat healthy in NY but don't know where you were staying. There are so many areas of NYC, diverse in ethnic living and food choices, that could explain your problem.

Not overly subtle there, is it? Looks like Team Canalis got schooled by E News not to try and spead lies in the States. I guess when they were together it was fine because it was a story and they would run it to keep the peace and more importantly, keep Clooney happy. But the willingness to just run with whatever her team spin to try to keep her in the spotlight is done. Could be why they are leaking stories like this to outlets like In Touch instead of the more respectable E News and People. Would be interesting if Ted C took it upon himself to debunk all her leaked stories in the future where she tries to get publicity and attention by hinting she and George might get back together to further promote whatever gig she has.

If they hadn't tried to push the issue, they would both in in LA overe the next few months. Any good PR could have used that to their advantage if they were going to make up a BS stories to feed to the tabloids about a possible reconciliation. But now we have his sources stating it's over, it's not going to happen and that the rumour was BS. All before she got any recognition in LA. Team Canalis - 0 points for this attempt.

Also re the harpers shoot - I'm thinking it might just be a modelling gig not an interview. She is signed to a modelling agency. There might be a little blurb with the pictures but maybe the gig is just about modelling and not being a personality. Maybe Betty is using her free time to build up the store in LA - her buddy is on vacation in Sardinia until at least the of the month as per her twitter so maybe it's Betty's turn to do some work on it whilst the other goes on vacation.

Prego means "you are welcome" or "don't mention it" when in reply to GRAZIE which means thank you.
Prego also is used to invite someone in, to let someone pass in front of you and in that case it means PLEASE.

I doubt Eli is the real driving force behind the shop so I don't see her doing much without Val. Honestly they haven't even gotten a space so what could Eli do? They don't seem very worried about getting it up and running if they both keep taking turns taking vacations. It is funny that ted went out of his way to debunk this so fast. I find it funny how the paps seem to be ignoring her usually they don't miss an opportunity to get a shot of her. Maybe she is wearing clothes and that doesn't seem to interest them. She needs to start working it her clock is ticking her window of opportunity is closing fast to milk this split. We haven't even had the big post split interview Val promised maybe they thought better of that?
