Just watched it and she doesn't say that. Morandi sitting next to her says "Italiano?" does because De Niro starts to say a few words in Italian and she goes "oh!".

Gotta say, I have no idea at all why De Niro did this. He had no intention of saying anything much, did he? He managed to get in a bit of promotion for his new film that was coming out in Italy next week.

Hahahaha I think that thought might have crossed her mind too from the sounds of it Dex. With all the opportunities she's been given to succeed out of her time spent with George, I think she came to the same conclusion that we did! She may not be cut out for show business but being the "girlfriend of" has some great possibilities and some really nice perks. A girl's gotta know her strengths and play to those!

Is Eli going back to Leverage? The Leverage people are currently casting for a stand in to work throughout season 4 and in the release, they mention Eli getting hired for season 3, talk about her role and have a couple of pictures of her. The release is dated 23rd February 2011. Would they really hire her as a series regular? She is noted in this release as one of the starring actors. It looks like she is back on the show again. I thought the audience of the show wasn’t too impressed with her. I’m more shocked that she hasn’t announced it herself or through her people. It does seem to be a last minute thing though (like season 3). They are now looking for her stand in a week more filming starts? Seems a bit last minute. Can't imagine based on her 'performance' they were desperate to get her back but they did get serious mileage out of her being in season 3. Altholugh considering the mass vote was that she couldn't act, it would be an odd choice for the show but then, it's not like it is high brow in any manner.

In the release they are looking for a stand in with a slim athletic build female between the ages of 25 - 40 who is 5'8 to 5'10 tall. Shoulder length brown hair. Must be available for whole season from 28th Feb to 2nd Sept. Be available to work 5 days a week, 12-14 hour days.

Maybe this is the reason that she is desperate to get back to the States? If she is back on the show, will she get to the Oscars this Sunday if work starts the next day in Portland? They gave her those days off last year so she could attend with George but as he is not a nominee this year, who knows? All publicity is good publicity so probably. I can't imagine that if she is back on the show as a regular, that they will again shoot out of order to accomodate her job as the girlfriend of. It would have to piss off the other actors if that happened again. If she is a regular and most likely in a large percentage of the episodes, she would have to base herself in Portland for the filming period (Basically March through to the end of August). That mean no regular occurrences of fame whoring for the paps in the shopping district in Beverley hills, no summer in Como, no vacations in Cabo, no turning up on set wherever George is filming to be papped and living the life of luxury whilst he is on set all day, etc.

I thought love was what mattered to her the most and that her career was secondary. That she would follow George whereever he went as they couldn't bare to be apart. Considering they haven't been together in the last two months, I guess we know that statement was just PR bullshit because she hadn't booked the job yet.

In the new pictures, she went back to Italy for a month where she has a home, her wardobe not to mention her regular shopping outings and yet she travels with that amount of luggage?? She lives in leggings and gym wear - that doesn't take up much room in your luggage - what the hell is in those bags? How many handbags and shoes does she really need?
