hahaha. How thoughtful and brilliant thing to say, I had no idea. Really cray cray?! Her fanbase may be really stupid... How in the world she is a lyfestyle expert? By saying what she says, I could make "millions" with my degree since Biology means the study of life and I have taken classes from Psychology to animal behavior, physiology to genetics/developmental genetics and so on... lol

@Lelacorb: I finally agree wiht you in somthing, . I believe she lives on diet, always counting her calories, so in public she "can eat whatever she wants", (insert eye roll). Someone needs to tell cray cray that beer has calories too...

While I appreciate the important part that Twitter played in the Arab Spring, it's this sort of inane rubbish that makes me want to barf at the very idea of Twitter. Are there people who actually believe that this sort of stuff is a valuable addition to their life?

I know what you mean. Like do we really need to know that Stacy is cleansing herself? Considering how much she goes on about diet and stuff you would think she wouldn't need too. I think she is doing it as some sort of commercial I just can't imagine her fb friends as being the slightest bit interested unless Stacy is doing it for a bikini shoot!

I checked out her FB page, definitely worth a trip - you'll get a good laugh. Here she is, promoting her "Open Sky" account (which I think is a franchise-type website, she probably gets commission on) and most of the comments are from guys saying rude stuff to her.

I've heard that people get paid for tweeting, so I bet she gets $ from Open Sky. Of course she doesn't want to "push" Open Sky down everyone's throat, so I bet Cray-Cray thinks that by sending out these "let me help you tweets" people won't realize its to get their attention to Open Sky (hope that makes sense).

Twitter has a new feature now, if you click on a tweet, on the right are all the responses to her. Most of her helpful-hints don't get much of a reaction. This new feature also takes the place of the old "view conversation". When looking at her response to someone, click the tweet and see what was sent to her or the full conversation if its been going back and forth.

And it continues. Why is she tweeting about healthy food so much?

So fruit loops are healthy....there colourful. The guys on her fb are not interested in what she eats they just want to see her naked. I'm thinking she may need to show pictures of her holding a pineapple, shopping in a grocery store in a bikini of course. That they would click on.

That's her one tweet I agree with. Using a smaller plate does cut down on the amount of food you have to eat. If your small plate is empty you may realize you're "done." The greatest diet trick in the world is to cut down on meal portions.

And, no I don't think G has to throw out his dinner plates. I really doubt Stacy will be eating dinner there anytime soon. IMO

It is amazing how wonderful her insight is. All her marvelous ponderous thoughts have been around for an awfully long time. I can't believe she thinks she's inspiring her fans with her "original" spouting. These have be the credos of weight control organizations for over 40 years-Weight Watchers, Lean Line, Overeaters Anonymous, and a myriad of others. She hasn't had an original idea yet, but I held my tongue until we got to the "small plate" scenerio.

I wonder if she's one of those people who only eat food that is healthy for you. It's wise to be healthy, but eating is a sensual pleasure, where you eat something just because it's delicious and tastes good. After all, chocolate cake wasn't invented because someone was trying to lose weight. Eating just for health, and not pleasure? She can keep it. Along with her cleansing stuff.

Not able to copy/paste where I am, but now she's talking about eating on smaller plates and foods with vibrant colors. Please tell me she doesn't believe she is original and coming up with these "tips".

Re Stacy dreaming of eating G's barbecue, G likes to barbecue chicken (I once asked his male assistant/driver who also helps with the cooking/shopping) as it is "healthier." And I told him (as I will also tell you) that I make homemade vegetable soup which is my weight-loss tip because it makes you feel some-what full so you eat less meat and starch. And I have a recipe for low-fat dark chocolate pudding cake, because even Dr. Oz says that a little dark choc is very good for you. (One of my happiest days when I found out that my 2nd alltime pleasure is also good for you.) Guess what the 1st is?

I'm thinking Stacy will have a heart attack if she goes to George's for Thanksgiving as he loves to deep fry his turkey in a vat of fat! So not always so healthy is our George. As for the small plates doesn't work when someone thinks it's ok to have seconds and thirds cause the plate is so small. I tried that with my 15 year old nephew, I'm sure he ended up eating more.

Well I'm not going to fault her for making healthy eating comments on her twitter page.

The purpose of twitter is to say whatever the hell you want. No one says she has to bring in original content. Hell, most of the tweets I see are people tweeting inspirational quotes made by others.

People are free to follow or NOT.

If you don't like what she's tweeting then stop reading it.

I think it's petty to pick on what she tweets. George isn't dating her cause she's a fucking brain surgeon; he's dating her cause she's probably a good contortionist and cause she laughs at all his stories cause she too young to have heard them all before.

I tend to agree, Lorna. Nowhere is it written that twitter is limited only to brilliance and totally creative vision.

Twitter is just a way of sharing ideas, thoughts and whatever that happens to be of interest to a person at the time. It doesn't have to be earth shattering.

She is a public figure with a public twitter account. That makes the comments relevant and open to interpretation by her fans or anyone who checks her twitter out. Same as what she puts on a facebook account. Or a offical website. That is representative of who she is - that's the point, isn't it? To be able to share more of yourself with the fans and to connect with people to help promote and encourage her career. That's how she wants the fanbase to see her.

Personally I think what she tweets makes her seem dim. Now if that is the public image she wants to promote then that's her choice. But twitter for these people in celebville is about image and about staying relevant in the eyes of the general public. She isn't twittering from the kindest of her heart - it's about remaining relevant and promoting her "work" - be is a film, an apperarance at a party/event, her Open Sky account or promoting products she uses (possibly for financial gain by way of payment for the endorsement).

I find what she twitters so funny for the simple reason if you look at her fb and her "friends' they mostly seem to be male and the last thing they are looking for are diet tips and why you should get a trolley. They all want to see her legs and whatever else she is willing to show. Stacy is on twitter to help her career although I can't see what sort of job she is aiming for with all this dieting/cleansing stuff unless she wants some sort of lifestyle show.

You know, you're probably correct about wanting a lifestyle show. Seems like quite a few people have made big money from those type of shows so why not her?

All true statements:
Twitter is for everyone and not just brainiacs.
We don't have to follow her comments if we don't want to.
Her comments make her look stupid.
We can comment on how stupid her tweets are.
No one has to read what we say about her tweets just like we don't have to read her tweets.
You put it out 'there' for all to see, you're going to get comments good or bad. It's the way of the internet.

Edited to say that my concern is this constant need for everyone to say only "glowing" things and you've been around long enough Katie to know that that isn't going to happen. People will say what they think and if the person who is being discussed has to have "special treatment" then don't post anything about them because you will surely be disappointed with the outcome.

Cray Cray is so smart. The other day, I went grocery shopping and I used her tips (insert sarcasm). It was very helpful

Twitter is how celebs communicate with their fans and most of it is inane drivel. Stacy is no exception.
