Will Meghan and Harry's Oprah interview cost them their friendship with the Clooneys?
Well, here's this fun bit of speculation from a so-called 'expert'. Having given this deep consideration (around half a nano-second), I've come to the conclusion that we, too, are experts in this. So what do you think? Will George and Amal start ignoring Meghan and Harry because they can't be trusted?

A royal commentator has suggested that Meghan and Harry's desire to mingle with the great and the good in Hollywood may have been scuppered by their Oprah interview
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey may have cost them the celebrity life they desired, according to a royal commentator.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have set up home in California with a life mingling with the Obamas and Clooneys amid a Hollywood lifestyle, but their revelations about the royals and subsequent alleged press leak may have scuppered those chances.
Writing in The Guardian, commentator Barbara Ellen has dismissed the couple's chances of being accepted by Hollywood's royalty, as they may have gone about their release from the Royal Family the wrong way.
Ms Ellen wrote: "Considering where Meghan and Prince Harry wish to end up, are they blowing it up big-time?”
She added: “Put it this way: has Michelle Obama ever sat on a TV sofa b****ing about her sister-in-law?”
Meghan had spoken about Kate, Duchess of Cambridge during her "intimate conversation” with Oprah, which was aired on ITV, 24 hours after it was shown in the United States.
Ms Ellen added that this would make it difficult to be be ingratiated in certain circles: “While it’s accepted that such behaviour is offensive to the royals, it’s forgotten that it’s also the antithesis of how the mega-rich, uber-influential, notoriously private elite conduct themselves.”
She continued to say that while Meghan and Harry want to join the likes of George and Amal Clooney, Bill and Melinda Gate, Beyonce and Jay-Z and Barack and Michelle Obama, she pointed out these celebrities are a "discreet breed, living in micromanaged worlds, operating a strict privacy-first code”.

Ms Ellen said that the Sussexes will have to work hard to prove themselves worthy of being seen in the same light as some of the most respected celebrities in the world.
She wrote that they are "unlikely to feel true kinship” with this group of A-listers and that they "don't fit in" with the path they have chosen so far.
Harry has taken the first steps of helping them be accepted among the Hollywood elite but being accepted as Chief Impact Officer with a Silicon Valley mental health startup, BetterUp.

Mm, not sure. We don't know the basis of the relationship in the first place, do we? I'm inclined
to think that some of it's through Jack Brooksbank and Eugenie (turned out that they were also
L'Oleandra before Harry and Megan arrived, which you could surmise was George and Amal's
wedding present for both couples)
It will be a diplomatic thing I think, because George and now Amal have their own connections
to the Royals........

I don't think what Harry and Meghan have done so far is enough for George to distance himself from them - whatever his relationship with them - and I don't think his relationship with others in the royal family is of the kind that would be endangered by his friendship with the Sussexes. Are they truly that petty?
However I did see something online yesterday (which I didn't pay attention to except for the headline - sorry ) about Harry and Meghan making a movie about "Megxit" and their experience with royal life. If that's true, it could be a game-changer depending on what they say.
I can understand why they would want to get their side of the story out, but I think they've already done that. Film is Meghan's medium and she may find it the best way to express herself, but IMHO it's a bad idea to make a film about their family situation. If an interview with Oprah upset so many people, just imaging what a tell-all movie would do. They just might be burning all their bridges at once.

No , I don't think this will affect their friendship. George saw how unfair and horrible Meghan was being treated. I also do not
believe for one minute there will be a movie about Meghan, again this is just another way the press are trying to paint Meghan as a villain. The press simply needs to leave them alone you have the other royals why not write about them.

I don’t take the Mirror article too seriously. What do they know? All speculation. They described George and Amal “as living in micromanaged worlds”. Couldn’t disagree more. Annemarie pointed out that George has spoken out in support of Meghan in the past and the unfairness of the press towards her. Why would that change now? It is a diplomacy thing going forward. George and Amal can walk that line in their diplomatic relationship with the Royal family and their friendship with Harry and Meghan.
