George Clooney was in Sarnico, Italy today shooting a commercial. One photo agency said it was for Mercedes, another said it was for something else. The point is this is how George manages his “small” movies - the cash money comes from endorsements and he gets to work on passion projects in film and devote some of his energy too to his causes.

As you know, George has been advocating for change in Sudan. It’s been announced that he’s put his Tesla Roadster up for auction in support of the Satellite Sentinel Project monitoring the Sudanese borders. Click here for more information on the car.

George was seen in Como the other day with Stacy Keibler just as they were announcing some kind of all-star season for Dancing With The Sh-ts. She did not end up on the list. Because...why would she need to? To be honest, I was disappointed. Because if she was competing, would he actually come to one of the tapings to cheer her on? George Clooney in the audience at Dancing With The Sh-ts? If he shows, it’s embarrassing. If he doesn’t, it’s gossipy. And that’s exactly why not.

Can you explain to me what? it is possible for George to me (repeat to me) seems more relaxed and happy when it works and it's just that when coupled with Stacy and is on holiday! I agree mostly opinions of people who disagree with me because I do not understand him more and I am afraid of not being objective because I think it is impossible that a man of his level to share his life with a goose like Stacy!

First I want to say another "thank you" and "grazie" to all who have uploaded photos and video. Seeing these photos today made my Monday bearable.

I agree with everyone that he looks so happy and relaxed....these looks are what drew me to him in the first place. It is refreshing to see someone really liking what they do....it must be true that he feels the most comfortable on a film set--even if it is for a commercial.

I thought I was being cynical and snarky when I would look at the past few weeks photos and thought he looked stiff and uncomfortable. I thought I was just fooling myself into thinking he is unhappy with SK. I thought too that she looked stiff and uncomfortable with him. I thought the most comfortable he looked all summer was when I saw the photos of him with his friend Karen Duffy and when I saw him walking with his parents.

I actually went back and looked at the photos of GC & SK together thinking I might get a different perspective. I did...I thought maybe they aren't as uncomfortable with each other as I first imagined. I think SK is going to be around for awhile because maybe we don't see what is actually going on in their lives.

That being said...looking at today's photos I can't help but notice how he hugs and greets the people on the set. Has no one else noticed the joy on his face... also the HUG's themselves.....wish I could copy photos...he hugged two gentleman like they were old friends....warm, embracing with actual arms around the persons shoulders.....(here comes my tired snarky bit)-----I have never seen him hug his gf like that....of course it could be my imagination...but really he gave much better hugs today than I have seen....if I was his gf I would be hurt.....

Whew....glad I got that off my chest....gonna finish my wine and relax...ttyl!

That was an interesting post silly girl and I agree with you. I believe George feels more comfortable with the people he's with while he's working but he fears the backlash from any affection he shows with his gf which in turn hinders his reactions. Obviously he feels he can display his true feelings with his co-workers because there's no expectations.

I don't know if he has true feelings for Stacy but my point is even if he did he wouldn't display it in front of the paps. Just my opinion.

I don't know guys....just weighing in here on the PDA/noPDA debate. I think George, if he was truly in love, would not refrain from public affection. I'm NOT saying he'd be all super demonstrative and 'loved up' in front of God and country, but rather, occasional affectionate displays would manifest as a natural outflow of his feelings. At least I'd like to think he's comfortable enough with his public personna and real enough in his relationships that he wouldn't shun to show it.

I just can't understand it....

Clooney was all smiles arriving for work earlier today on the Sarnico, Italy, set of a new Mercedes Benz commercial. George has spent the majority of the Summer at his Lake Como villa vacationing with Stacy Keibler and playing host to their friends and family. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan visited George, as did Stacy's parents, Gary and Patricia.

George and Stacy's stay in Europe could extend through August, as he's currently planning a special appearance at an Obama fundraiser on Aug. 27 in Geneva, Switzerland. Meanwhile, Dancing With the Stars fans learned Stacy will not return for the All-Star competition, but her name is still in the running to replace Steve Jones as host of The X Factor.
