If they were to adopt some children, they could just announce that at any time and Amal wouldn't have to go undercover for three months. She didn't even attend the "Suburbicon" wrap party! And the Gerbers holiday gathering! This is definitely the longest Amal disappearance ever since they started dating. STRANGE.

.........mm, and the interesting thing about that is that they seem to have the support of many celebrities (even George has flattered them on what they try to do!) and they have denied every dodgy story so far. (Think they have Stan on speed dial...)

If I was to hazard a guess, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that somebody in Lebanon has misheard and they could be adopting if the March thing is accurate..........

PAN- help me out here... going back to the engagement, remember there was info and photos released about the wedding.. turns out it was one of her relative's wedding, not THE wedding. Somewhere not Venice, and not the one Amal officiated at wearing a purple gown.  Think it was around June 2014.  We went goofy thinking he secretly got married.  Remember?

Maybe it's the same thing,,, someone is pregnant/ adopting/ renting, just not George, and USA sources are holding back.

Orrrrrrr- I could be in complete denial.. the rent a womb is ready to launch and I'm still hoping the wedding was a bad nightmare that I'll wake up from eventually.

Depends whether they want to protect their children really, adopted or otherwise - or not to announce it too hastily in case of possible miscarriage. 

Who knows, that may have already happened. And if they were to adopt, I'm pretty sure they'd want all the paperwork done, signed and sealed. Might even be really complicated if it were, say, refugee babies whose parents have been killed.........

Whatever it is, I'm certain George will be the most protective husband and father possible.

Sevens - Maybe not so strange that they've been out of the media. He's busy. She's busy. The honeymoon is over and real married life has set in. I wouldn't expect her to be at his side all the time, and definitely not at a wrap party unless she was in town and had nothing better to do. It isn't a big public event and there's no real reason for her to be there.

Then again, they may be hiding out somewhere watching her bump grow!

As I said most of her work is out of the spotlight, with a million files of reference around her at offices in either London or The Hague.

I don't think this is the longest we haven't seen them. I think the difference is we are used to seeing them in Cabo. With that home gone they are probably spending their time in Britain away from cameras.

Also , it was said the finish work on George's film is being done in London so I think they are probably there doing their work.

From photos of Amal in the crop top and low riding jeans on a date with G and the Gerbers this Fall, there is no way she is having twins this Spring.   IMO

Well, the article was reprinted without the march date. I don't think she is pregnant either it's just the press are bored and they target George when they have no one else to write about. Kim west is back so now maybe they will turn their attention to her.

All of your comments make sense really. But George has said they'd never be apart more than a week, which they've done pretty well for two years. Then suddenly while George was based in LA making a film, Amal who doesn't cook must have been with him for some time yet decided to hide in his home, ordering meals every day instead of going out with her husband for dinner for once? Remember she LOOOOOVES having dinners with George in LA?

In my County this is known as Women's Little Christmas "Nollaig na mBan"  

Tonight is the night all women dress up as if they are about to meet Brad or George.... and go out and have a very loud and fun time.....We go out in groups of old and young to celebrate the end of Christmas, Feast of Epiphany.....Every restaurant is full....women only.....

I know I always look as if I'm desperately trying to elbow my way on to the Clooney Private Jet....True, I am....So I see the present rumours of Baby/Divorce, as being right up my Alley.....what a start to the New Year....a pure gift from the Magi....just for me.....

The rumours stories were in a couple of Conde Nast publications, and Anna Wintour is publishing editor (or some such) of the entire group, so I just thought it was interesting that a couple of them were floating the story........

I can imagine George being able to manage just about anything.  Doublefisted baby bottles, diaper changing wizard and crooning a Rosemary song to put the bundles  to sleep.  Just keep the Casamigos close at hand for recharging!

PAN - Thanks. Saw some coverage after I left COH. Have to say, if she's 7 months pregnant with twins, now I really hate her! She'll probably be in labor for ten minutes and just pop them out! Damn, that woman has all the luck! Size 0 right after giving birth!

In those floral dress pics, she alternatively looks not-pregnant, 3 months pregnant, and 8 months pregnant. I feel like we've seen badly fitting dresses before that catch on her hip bone at certain angles and give that bump illusion.

That said, she WAS looking awfully busty in some on those Suburbicon set pics, and the other thing that can do that to you besides pregnancy is fertility treatments. So if she was getting fertility treatments in late summer/early fall, she could certainly be in her first trimester. Timed so the munchkins will come along just in time for them to be holed up in Italy for the summer.

Maybe they both have had the flu, had a quick romp in the back of the SUV enroute to the event,  both hung-over.

What I do find interesting is that after all the hype and hysteria this past week in the press- no one  in the press
actually addresses the story head-on.  Only lainey gives mention of water sipping.

Did George threaten everyone not to mention it, does his wrath stretch that far?  If so- why did the Daily Star run the story in the first place?  So many questions and not enough interest to actually lose sleep over it . Sigh

Last week I posted about the latest Amal Clooney pregnancy rumour from a report out of a Lebanon news outlet citing Amal family sources who claim that she’s expecting twins. As noted in that article, it was worth considering because it’s not the National Enquirer or Star Magazine or the Daily Mail and because the Clooneys have been pretty low profile the last couple of months. And also because Amal’s been seen a few times at fertility clinics in New York and London.

Last night George Clooney and Amal were in London to celebrate Netflix’s documentary, The White Helmets, about volunteer workers in Syria who rush into areas that are attacked to rescue survivors. He talked to reporters there about the film and also supported Meryl Streep's comments at the Golden Globes.

As for Amal? I heard from someone who was there last night who says that Amal didn’t drink, sipped water all night. Amal’s been known to enjoy a cocktail. So. Take that for what it’s worth. Maybe it’s a dry January for her. Maybe she had too much the night before. Or… maybe you’re zooming in on these photos and looking extra closely.

We will all know in time if she is pregnant. This report is no different than all the rest the twin part is not new either. Piers can't answer because he doesn't know anymore than the rest of us.

Alright Daily Mail has contacted Amal's spokesman, but don't expect they'd announce this important news to them, at least it should be USA Today or PEOPLE.
