Good for her.  Hope everyone is healthy.  But if she starts telling everyone how a home birth is the best thing thing since sliced bread I will  have to slap her with a wet noodle.

I like Stacy a lot, she inspires me to be optimistic and look at the bright side of life...which is not always easy. She simply radiates joy for life and I appreciate her for that. I am sure Ava Grace will be very happy baby

i like Stacy a lot too. Her commitment to health, fitness and "clean eating" is inspiring. There's never anything she says about the subject that I don't like hearing. Super figure too.

With the amount of ridiculous celebrity baby names out there Im impressed Stacy went with something a little old school - the combination is lovely

Meh, as a preschool teacher, about every third kid I see has the some combination of Ava or Grace in her name. I was really hoping for something like Kale or Shallot.

On a side note, I'm now hoping extra hard that the Amalooney wedding was this weekend. This week's People could have George's wedding as the lead story, with Stacy's baby in the sidebar.Maybe there's pictures of Eli's bachelorette party that could round out the cover? Fingers crossed!

It does have a lilting, elegant ring to it, but she's probably going to be one of two or three Ava' s -- and maybe Ava Graces -- in her kindergarten class.

I guess they just liked the name. But it's true that there have been several Ava's in each batch of students born in the late 90's onwards, not sure if the incidence is lower now.

I thought her husband was wealthy. Why so desperate for money? Or is it only the exposure she's looking for? Sad either way.

Pay for the ring??  More likely she really liked being on the A-list, and hasn't adjusted to the demotion.

I've always got the sense that Stacy has always been in love with the limelight and thinks that she is more famous than she really is.  She probably thinks that everyone is going to want the exclusive photos of the baby and they should pay top dollar for it.  Sadly now she's no longer a wrestler or George Clooneys girlfriend she isn't that relevant.

I'm not a huge Stacy fan, but you have to admit she has not run away crying.

Her husband, I think, is a paper millionaire, not a liquid one. But Stacy made a good chunk of money in the time she was with George, and probably wasn't spending much of her own cash on living expenses then. So she must have a respectable nest egg -- unless she went crazy keeping up with Jared's clique afterwards. She still gets invited to things; just not the big or notable things.

Still, I don't think she'd have such a warped sense of her own celebrity that she would think any event related to her, even a birth, could pull in a million bucks.  That's lunacy.

She doesn't really sound like a brand new mother.  Other than the installed the free car seat and the actual announcement, her Twitter is about meditation and some other website.  She must be holding out for the big payoff baby spread.

Well, those careers have to stick with her too --and judging by the supermarket show, she is no tv host.

I don't think the magazines are going to offer her much, if anything. Their circulation numbers are dropping and they're not paying huge money like they used to. Brad and Angie, real A-listers, only got $1million for their wedding cover from People.

We all blindly assumed Amal will live up to her credentials.  We will all have to wait and see if the lure of Hollywood is stronger than a paper degree.

Just a note to Annemarie - Brad and Angie got $1million from People and $1 million from Hello. Total $2 million. Considering what they got for earlier photo spreads, it isn't much.

I can't see Stacy getting anywhere near what Brad and Angie got. She's nowhere near their level as a celebrity.

in her field she was successful before George and well known in the legal community.  George can open doors in the entertainment industry but not in the legal arena, and she doesn't need any doors opening for her.
