I love to see him looking so happy. But I won't get carried away. He's in his element, and he's being the Host With the Most. That always puts him in a good mood.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but I'd like to see them -- the both of them, at the same time -- looking like this in London, not on vacation, after spending a decent amount of time in her home and her element.

Sorry, Sevens, bit of confusion.

I was referring to the London Premiere and someone wondered if she was at the other premieres. I was just saying that on the following night she had a forum to run at the IBA in London on Egypt.

And i wouldn't be surprised to hear that she'd been back to London for work after the weekend wedding. She wasn't on the boat with her cousin, and maybe she turned up last night. That's the life she leads

I love George, I really do. And I don't know the dress code in Italy.  But, for the most part, whenever he's taken Amal out to dinner,and not just in Italy, he usually   looks like he's taken a 10 minute break from cleaning the garage..jeans, bowling shirt and work boots.

no, the photographer has one of those rapid fire lens,no doubt. Every movement is snapped.  If you take a photo when someone is moving, they'll look drunk.

PigPen - I watched the video from Sudan that PAN posted this morning. It was filmed 3 or 4 years ago, and I was struck by how much older he looks now. IMO it's not the stress of the engagement/media circus - it's been happening for a while. I hope it's genetic and not health related.

I know what you're saying.  It just seems more so now.  Or, and not to be rude.. maybe when they are standing next to each other, the age difference/appearance becomes more obvious and pronounced.  Just saying............

Next to last and last photos.. he soooooo looks like he's in control and in his element.  Italy is his!!  He knows it and he's working it baby.  Look at that facial expression. The handshake with left hand on the shoulder........ He is the life of the party, hell, he is the party.  And Amal is along for the ride. She's obviously enjoying it, who wouldn't.   Problem will rear it's ugly head if /when she begins to believe the attention is for her, not her fiance.  Yes, she is a noted barrister, but not matter what she does, from now on she is the fiancee/wife first, then whatever .

I don't think we've seen him tipsy or drunk since he started dating Amal, and he doesn't look it here. I'm sure it's her influence. I don't think Stacy or Elisabetta turned down a lot of opportunities to drink.

Of course, the cousin's wedding provided a chance for him to indulge a little.

He looks great to me. He happens to be a man who can pull the gray-haired look off and still be sexy. But I'm old, too, so...

Amal will probably slip a bottle of Just for Men on the bathroom shelf as a hint.

As for his attire: He looks like he's had a recent shower. His hair is combed. His teeth are clean. There's no dirt under his nails that I can see. The shirt isn't stained. And he looks like George Clooney. That would be good enough for me.

I read a post only this week, someone help me here, where the poster said she had seen (physically seen, close up) a big difference in him in a short period of time.  She - the poster - said she thought it could have been down to neck or back pain, which of course he gets.  I know he said he still needs a little surgery so maybe it is just overdue.

I see a man that has aged, but I feel sure he will recover, at 53 it's too young to put on the slippers. I have to say I know men his age and older that look way younger, but NOT HOTTER.  IMO

The "... ten minute break from cleaning the garage" line is funny as hell, BTW.

I'm too lazy to scroll up to give proper 'props.'

Way2old4Dis, don't worry, I'm young enough to be his daughter but I still think he looks great to me.
George always looks old.He aged well though.I like all the wrinkles and even the gray hair which mark part of his charisma.
Look at the recent Brad Pitt. He looked so much younger than George when they were in their 30or40s, but now he aged badly to me. The difference from the younger Brad Pitt seems so obvious. Not the same case for George here.
Anyway, George is way more than just his looks as long as he still makes good films.

Defending Assange is bad enough, but I wonder if she is still representing Abdullah al-Senussi, the mastermind of the Lockerbie bombing.  If this is true I wonder what George has to say about this. Human rights attorney? explain that to the families of the murdered victims.  OK my rant is over.

I like the photos too. It's good to see Amal & George out together looking happy and relaxed, like anyone else would be in their position.

I prefer the fact that George may be looking older to some folk, rather than that he looks the same as he
did 10-15 years ago. George ageing in looks is a normal occurrence.
Anything else would be creepy to me and probably mean he's spending shed loads of time and money on  
"men's stuff". LOL.
After all, didn't his Dad Nick go grey haired at quite a young age ?

Brad Pitt is, or was, a smoker. George is, or was, a drinker. Cigarettes will burn your looks more and faster than alcohol will pickle them.

Besides, Brad has 6 kids of his own to take care of. George has nieces, nephews, and godkids that he can indulge at his whim. Big difference.

And I think Pitt is still handsome. Just changed. And he could stand to hit the gym a little more.

Brad plus six kids, plus his work plus, his partner's
work doesn't leave much space
for gym time I'd imagine.

I've always found it interesting that 2 people can look at the same photos and see two totally different things. I see two people who are madly in lust.

Alisonfan - George could be 95 with plastic teeth and tottering around in a walker and he'd still be the hottest guy out there!  

But he does seem to have aged a lot in the last couple of years. Could be health issues (I hope not), could be the booze catching up with him, could be too much time in the sun - who knows? To me he's looking (in many photos) older than his actual age. Sometimes it's hard to believe he's only 53!
