Tina Fay I didn't think was all that funny. The Golden Globes lately are amazing how they don't synch up at all with the Oscars as a preview of things to come. It is a different voting demographic. Note Ben Affleck being snubbed even with a nomination for best director in the Oscar mix. Shocking.

Argo needs to enjoy this night because Lincoln looks to be the favorite in the movie category at the Oscars in addition to Daniel Day Lewis getting another one for best actor.

Thanks to everyone who posted pictures and videos. I didn't get a chance to see most of the event and I saw none of the red carpet, so I really appreciate being able to catch up on the evening here.

I would like to say that I now see they seem to have worked out what ever issues they had a few months ago as they appear both very happy and enjoying the night.
I sincerely owe Stacy an apology because before 7 months ago I knew nothing of her and very little of George Clloney per se like majority of you. I have NEVER met the man....or her but I began following after he and his father were arrested on Sudan Steps and I pegged Stacy or prejudging her actions of photo ops with dog, areas of GTC's places in Cabo, Lax ETC...as a cheap "LOOK AT WHO I AM WITH SCHEME" which concerned me for his safety as anyone who takes stands must face grave danger in war torn third world countries as we witnessed ourselves during 9/11, so I felt she was so wanting "TO PROVE" they were a couple it was fake to me...and this is what I had issues with.
I now see they are partners of some sort if she was smart she may have invested in the tequila biz as that is her promoting talents of past and her generation likes to party.

I have issues with HER integrity and character because she cannot decide what it is she is in the "REALITY WORLD" ONE WEEK AN ACTRESS, ONE WEEK FITNESS GURU, NEXT WEEK HEALTH EXPERT AND STARTING TRUST FUND FOR YOUTH TO EDUCATE THEM ON NUTRION AND DIET WHILE SHE USES CLEANSES TO LOSE WEIGHT.

Her last (2) interviews on one day stated she was an only child so she would be spending holidays with her parents traveling yet she forgets what she states that is on record and then makes a big thing of proving she is with GTC in Cabo during Holidays...but no photos or tweets of parents in anything?

or in Italy or making him jealous with other men saying I love you to his friends or going to Spain where her ex is...it's childish and that is why I would NEVER buy a thing from her...
I am a salesperson by background and one thing I have learned if people "TRUST" you they will bUy a stick of gum or million dollar property on how your character is....

so that is why I wish as an older woman and for my gender I wish she would relax quit trying so hard to SELL YOURSELF, the world now knows you guys are a "SUPER COUPLE" someone on twitter like Ryan Seacrest or someone called them in this thread as I did not watch show...
BUT WE GET IT...relax and just enjoy whatever it is you guys share...one persons love may be someone elses respect, I don't know...because I don't know if I have ever really been in ,love....
but obviously coming to this thread I watched the interview with Matt Laur not with sound but their body language allows me some peace that she is not out to get him or hurt him like I worried last spring....

I worried in summer because he looked troubled and lost weight so I felt maybe he made a mistake in something and regretted it and was torn so it caused him great distress and was trying to please everyone and it backfired terribly. People's minds and hearts were on the line and I don't ever want to hear again that someine was "used" as a human guinea pig for a social uprising movement or mind games that Hollywood and Washington Play. It is idfferent if the other's know upfront then that is fair game.

I am ashamed to say I always have taken a man's side before females as I know how females work if they are trying to make sure they mark their terrority or fear someone else may "get their man" they think..

he looks happy, relaxed as you all stated and I send an olive branch to Stacy especially, I very rarely comment on someone's appearance or style, but more what is inside of them and I was going by photos and I have learned alot recently how people can go to events and remain in background so it appears they weren't there and for that I apoloigize to Stacy..

GTC owes NO ONE especially me who he takes or dates and as I stated I saw the video this morning of their red carpet talk, could not hear but body language speaks volumes...so I apologize to him if he ever looks here..lol

He's a big boy and it's time I worry about my own self and mind my own business like I use to before (2) years ago...

Very happy that Ben won Best Director and Best Picture. Steven Spielberg looked a little put out by both the wins! HA!

Something I noticed that I don't know if anyone else did.

When Ben won Best Director, there was a shot of the audience from the stage perspective (showing Ben's back) and I noticed that after everyone else had sat down, Jennifer Lopez and her boy toy were still standing and applauding him. I think she was trying to tell him something - i.e. IMO that she still admired his work and possibly, still admired him. Also IMO - I still think JLo was the love of his life and for me, I think it's too bad that her advisors got in the middle of that. I think deep down, they could have made each other very happy. I'm happy that he's found love and happiness with Jennifer Garner - but I think deep down there will always be a connection between he and JLo no matter whom they end up with ultimately. And I mean that about JLo cause I don't see her long term with the boy toy.

The dress was flown in from Milan or Paris just for the occasion, someone wrote above.
Her look was aiming to be natural, hence the long fake hair extensions above nape of her neck. They would take a long time to attach.

That hair? With all that straightening and ironing and hair spraying took a while to to put together.

George looks relaxed & content because he was there as one of the producers of Argo & maybe the brainchild of the idea who brought it into fruition. He also presented & was there to enjoy the occasion.
Didn't have the tenseness he showed at the last two Academy Awards. And after his long stay in Cabo over the holidays with his common-law wife, he looked like he had spent a great time boozing it up.

It was so loving how Ben immediately kissed his wife on both occasions he won. Really romantic to share such precious moments.
The looked each other in the eyes and kissed fervently....Aaahhh

Oh, and George smiled, got up & kissed Stacy on the cheek too.
Such a thriving romance indeed.

Though overall I'd say he looked complacent. It's in his eyes. Especially on the red carpet... Before the numbing liquor kicked in.

I copied an article about Ben's acceptance speech:

I was surprised he didn't mention Grant and George as producers. But he sent his wife up a few minutes later to apologize for the oversight. When George presented later he made a point of congratulating Ben on Argo (By the look on his face I think with a bit of sarcasm).

They never do that. Stacy not only sashayed through 2012 without getting fired by George, but she's also going to be his walking accessory during this awards season too.

As Sarah Larson (aka my favorite member of the Cloon Poon Club) let a drunk frat boy do orange Jell-O shots off of her stomach at a Golden Globes viewing party in the back room of Dave & Busters in the San Fernando Valley, Stacy posed next to George Clooney on the red carpet last night. Bitches had to pull out their eyeballs, dip them in Windex and put them back on, because they couldn't believe what they were seeing. Even Julianna Marguiles seemed taken aback over the fact that George hired Stacy for another year (or maybe Julianna just had gas, that's probably it).

Stacy achieved the impossible. She won the Hunger Games of trophy girlfriends two years in a row. Guinness Book of World Records needs to pick up a phone and call Stacy, because bitch is making history.

This whole Amy P sitting on George's lap may be blown out of proportion. It depends on whether she plopped down on his lap and made him laugh or if he pulled her down. I have a feeling it was all on Amy.

Anyway this picture looks like a boob fest, who can show the most. LOL I think Amy wins.

I think it was a set up, arranged earlier. Who knows they might have asked him during rehearsal and he was game to play along. Although he was so cute in the spot.

I loved it .
