What happened?!To IMBd?

Yikes!  They all sound crazy to me.  But then again, isn't there a story , with some type of credibility, that Kristy Alley did or still does post stuff for some sites.  I know the guy who was the Incredible Hulk ( Lou Something or other) was paid by the National Enquirer to provide stories. 
  Who knows!!   But don't read this site too often Nicky, sounds like it kills brain cells.

I went there a couple of times when I was being impersonated on there.
So be careful what you post...or you'll end up being impersonated too !

They shut down one nutter and then he/she/it returns with another name.  They've been here and ARE here.  There are some good threads on IMDb, but the nutter takes over or BUMPS his/her rancid posts to bury the good stuff.  So sad.

Don't worry Mel it is back up again but a couple of user names are gone and I think they were deleted from IMDb.

What is fuss about IMDb, when I looked, for me it was just a catalogue of actors and movies, and very little post.  Am I missing something.

Did you look at the message board for George Clooney? It used to be full of pretty extreme posts but since some posters been deleted from the IMDb and their posts deleted, now there is very few posts left. Let see if other posters come back to that board again.

Mel - It is back up, but I've never seen so many "deleted by administrator" posts anywhere. Finally! It took them long enough.

 Maybe they've been reading here and realized there are ways to allow for different opinions without letting every nut job vent and rant without consequences. They should have asked Katie how to do it a long time ago.

Katie - Is it illegal to ban someone from a forum if they abuse the forum rules? Or is it illegal to have rules at all? Seems to me, if it's your site you should have some control over what's posted.

Maybe now that George is married to a barrister SHE contacted them and gave them a piece of her LEGAL mind!  HA!  Just kidding...

If it's your site you can set whatever rules you want. But IMDb has nothing to do with me (I believe it's owned by Amazon) so I've got no say over what goes on there at all.

I knew you didn't work for IMDb. If you did it would be much a much better run site. They really should have come to you for advice.

Well, they finally shut down the message boards in IMDb for good. I guess the troll will have to find a new home now.
