I just popped over there to read. I never post there and never will because the one time I did try to sign up for the forum they wanted me to give them a credit card number. I refuse to give some damn forum a credit card number to be able to post - really who the fuck do they think they are asking for a damn credit card number? There is nothing to buy there except membership to their "Pro" version and I'm not interested in what productions are coming down the pike to the extent that I'd want any detailed info as to who is producing, who is casting, where to contact an agent, etc. than what you can find on the "free" side.

I do enjoy films and I find some of the back stories interesting, but I have no desire to work in such a cut-throat industry. I give credit to those who have made a success of themselves there because you have to be able to take a lot of back stabbing, rejection and sleaziness to succeed.

So my point is, if you see anyone posting there as Lorna Doone then it will definitely be a troll taking up the name but it won't be me.

As to what's being currently posted there - all I can see it's some pretty twisted stuff from some seriously delusional people. And if I were George I would definitely have my security folks figure out who they are and make sure those people are noted to law enforcement officials.

I never knew that IMDb requests a credit card number. When these posters give out their cc numbers their identity can be traced. So why does this forum knowingly allow posters to post under different user names - to deliberately deceive their readers?

It really is difficult to read all caps. For me anyway. I could give two shits if anyone is yelling at me, it's just hard to read.

How to ignore a poster:

1. Go to profiles

2. Click on the tab that says Friends and Foes

3. Scroll down to the section that says Add a Foe

4. Type in their posting name EXACTLY as it shows up - for instance if they use all lower case, use lower case, if they use all caps, use all caps, etc.

5. Click on ADD

Then every time that person posts you will not see their post - just a notice in that section that the person has posted and you have an option to reveal what they post or not.

This has saved me a lot of time since I don't have to scroll down over long posts of drivel from the nutters who find their way here.

And that is my public service announcement for the day!

Oh one thing I forgot to add about this. Once you do this ALL of their previous posts also disappear from your screen. That's the best part!
