As far as the media is concerned, yes. We forget that they don't follow George's life at all and they only report the public stuff. Until a split is announced or one of them is seen partying without the other which is how it usually comes about, no entertainment media care enough to work out whether or not they've been seen in public.

It's only the fans who watch his life closely enough to see what goes on who would question this.

I've been saying since mid Feb that I think it's over. The odd thing is that usually when George splits up (Sarah Larson was an exception) the way we find out about it is by reading reports of George partying with 'a bevy of beautiful blondes' (as the UK tabloid press would say). We haven't heard anything this time which I think is odd. No stories of one night stands, no late night parties (except the one for Stern where supposedly Betty was with him), no pictures of him out on the town, no page 6 gossip of him in bars. I know he doesn't get nearly as much gossip when he's in LA as he does when travelling, but the silence is strange.

Well Betty is still in LA. A photographer tweeted that he did a photo shoot with her on 3rd May.

Elisabetta tells TheInsider.com she knew that getting naked for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals would attract a lot of attention but said this was a big reason to do it -- to draw attention to the plight of animals killed for fur or consumer products. "I think this is the best reason why I got naked in my life," she said.
The Italian model and actress said her strong opinions on protecting animals were formed when she was very young. "I was a kid, a little girl, and was watching TV at home and they showed a documentary. And in the documentary, I saw how they killed little animals, like electrocuting them, drowning them, bludgeoning them. I was shocked because I was a little girl, but by that moment I thought that I would never, never, never, wear fur in my life."

I really don't think her English is that bad. I am not a fan but I can't speak a second language that well. As for the campaign, it has gotten a lot of famous people in the U.S. to take part in it. IMO she would do anything for publicity in the U.S. I am surprised she got the chance.
