is this bald guy one of the fox executives or producers of the movie? I cannot remember, but we passed by each other when I was leaving the balcony to go to my seat at NYFF right before the announcements, ha!

I am going to go against the tide here and say she looks pretty, even though she might be over dressed Much better than Paris and it looks like he hired someone for hair this time. They also look relaxed together like he is trying to portray a different image than the last premieres they have been at. But he still looks wayyyyy older than her. I think she will definitely be around for the Oscars, Celebrity Bitch and Lainey will have swallow their pride making fun that he sent her home.

There is no pride to be swollen when you are giving coverage to a wannabe famehungry celebrity. She should have been happy people are talking about her (imagine her robot smile while reading the "news"). From now on, she will improve (not fully) because she cannot go worse than her natural ho*ker look. I will give no comments on her style, so I don't want to help her figure out something she should had done at a younger age, if she had sense of style and elegance, of course. AS IF she knows what these two things mean...
ps: can someone tell me who the bald guy is? thanks.

Sorry just not buying this couple thing....I wonder if they practice there stance when they go back to the hotel? There is no real couple that I can think of that needs to practice so much..It should just come naturally. We need a body language expert.....

You don't have to be expert to see what's obvious. I don't buy "great friends" or "good sex" stories, anymore. He should be more relaxed standing next to close friend, or someone he's attracted to...Instead, his face/ body show more emotions at the pictures with A.Payne or S.Woodlley.

We both are thinking alike here!pattygirl wrote:Okay, please tell me what is her problem with strapless gowns? Paris, bodice falling down, London, bodice falling down. Maybe she shouldn't be wearing strapless. At first, I thought nice gown, but now, I don't know. bodice looks like a corselette, and what in the name of heaven is that piece sticking out on bodice. Waistline looks like bag tied in middle. Doesn't she look at herself in the mirror? Don't know who the designer is, but the design is not attractive.
When looking at the photos, so much came to mind I wanted to write. I won't repeat anything you said, but I do have to emphasize: LOOK IN THE MIRROR!!! I haven't read the other comments yet because I was so excited that PG and me are thinking alike I wanted to continue and comment.
Hey, George, you know the saying, "Three times the charm" ? Not here!! My gosh! IMHO (and of course just guessing), she wasn't at IOM because it took "them" that long to find something for her to wear after the Paris mishap. Well, they needed more time! A braided headband can be pretty, but HELLO! not Heidie's grandmother style and it doesn't go with the style of the gown. The booby tape scandal is nothing compared to tugging at the bust line ON THE RED CARPET! no less. And, what's with gowns with long trains at film fests?! If she was overdressed when he wore a business suit, she's going to be WAY overdressed when he doesn't wear a tie!!
These photos truly look like a college frat formal and your date is your father. And, the only way he agreed to come was if he didn't have to wear a tie. (And, yes, in case anyone was wondering, I do think Michael Douglass and Zeta-Jones look silly, too, along with Indiana Jones guy and his wife.)
Hey, George, you know the saying, "you are what the company you keep"? Yes, here!!! This is the second GF with no class and no style. Think about it!!

Charley wrote:Well I was wrong in my opinion that she wouldn't be there as she wasn't last night. So I wonder what happened. Did it take her and her "stylists" a full day to get over the disaster that was Paris?
But I think she's got it wrong again. She's in full evening gown (again) and he's casual. And she's not comfortable in strapless so why wear it, instead of continually tugging at the bodice? Canalis was always doing that too.
Just now reading the other comments. Busy at work in between my earlier postings and now.
We agree, too, Charley. And, LL, no, she doesn't have "it". Even though her camp keeps saying she's been in entertainment doing commercials when she was younger. Nope, don't see "it".

O.K. shoot me. Yes, the top of the gown needed a lot of help but I liked the color on her, her hair, and she carried herself a million times better than EC. She does look happy, hey she just scored a home run by bagging the Cloon. I still think that he looks soooo much older with her than he did with EC. Hey G, whatever does it for you.

No, not manager, but agent. Manager and agent have different responsibilities. Not totally sure, but I don't think George has a manager. Don't recall seeing one listed on his IMDB Pro page.Charley wrote:The bald guy is Bryan Lourd, George's manager. Stan is his publicist.

The skirt of the dress is very pretty, the top part looks very complicating and it makes her look wider than she is. Her hair is also very complicating, many twists and braids, etc. but it's not so bad. They look like they're having more fun at this premiere.

I like what Lainey said in "She Comes Out at Night, 10/20/11 about George and Stacy and Descendants Premiere in London
"Right now, he wants to hold her hand, present her to the public as his Oscar season date, present her to his peers as flavour of the year. Why is it that he thinks he can't do it alone.... But it's fascinating that even George Clooney can't go to a party in a town he owns on his own."
More to the column and about her dress if you want to download.

I kinda of like the dress. The body language between them is getting better.
I think she just super nervous after the titty tape incident that she was continually fussing with her dress to ensure it looked ok. The front bunching up may have happened in the car when seated and then went they walked the carpet, she couldn’t see past her breasts to see there was a bunch formed. Why doesn’t someone tell her though so she can straighten up before parading in front of the paps? Especially with the tape issue in Paris? George, Stan, where are you? It clearly states that the night is not about her and her presentation is not super important to them as the publicist isn’t willing to have a quick quiet word to get things picture perfect. Maybe Stan is over the revolving door of women that he has to get carpet ready and he just lets them be – no matter how they act or embarrass themselves?
I just don’t think she has had any major experience in wearing and choosing gowns or attending A list red carpets. Big difference between the Spike awards and a major film release. And really, why would she? Not like she has the career and contacts herself for this to be old hat to her. She is at least trying and she is acting happy so she gets points for not sneering, smouting or throwing a tanty on the red carpet. She seems to be going for classy but considering she spends most of her time in athletic gear or short, tight outfits, she is clearly out of her depth with trying to choose what is appropriate at these things.

@Sisieq: thanks for noticing she doesn't have IT.
I get the gown, she is trying to go for a Greek goddess look...As if...
@Wacthing: points for trying. But when someone tries so much, it is just it trying...elegance and classy don't belong to her. If she needs this amount of help and opinions. Style is something you develop,s he has none. She's been doing the hollywood afterparty circuit in a while. So, she should be familiar or know what fits best on her own body.
She is totally out of her league. She did score big, especially now George is "retiring" from acting. I say again: she is the one (argh!), which speaks volumes about George's intelligence and classy characteristics.

Sorry watching, but that is not "bunching' of the front of her dress, it's the design.
And I can't agree with all the apologetic reasons as to why she gets it all so wrong. She may not be an A-lister, but she does have money and so she has for a long while been able to afford a stylist. And she's 32 years old people, she's not a little kid. Even though on the sidelines, she's been in some form of the entertainment business for most of her life, so she should know how to cope with the frenzy of a red carpet. For goodness sake, she coped with flashing camera bulbs and people screaming her name on WWE and now all of a sudden she gets so nervous because of all that? No, doesn't wash with me. She's a professional party-attender. The only reason she's not up to par, is that you can't buy class. You can't buy inate style. You can't buy IT as LouisLane says. She has never had IT, she hasn't got IT now and she never will have IT.

Thank you Siseq for saying she has Heidi hair. I was thinking the same thing. IMHO, they are trying WAY to hard to be a couple. I mean the picture of them talking to his manager and they have their arms around each other it just looks awkward. If she is the one, I'll be very very super sad. She's a ding dong.

Maybe this was a PR trick ?
The first question was: Will she be in Europe? Yes!
News/gossip for the media.
Everybody was assuming she would be in London too. But...NOOO! And nobody dares to ask Clooney
(because he wants to seperate his private life from his professional life - cough)
More news/gossip for the media.
Suddenly she appears in London.
More news, more gossip, more attention.
I still think something is strange that even such thoughts come into my mind

This is my fave part of Lainey's article. She nailed it.
But it’s fascinating that even George Clooney can’t go to a party in a town he owns on his own. Which is crazy to me. Like George Clooney would have to stand in a corner holding his blackberry pretending to be busy texting so he doesn’t feel so obviously alone.

George did have a manager but when he tried to claim his managers percentage on a property deal George made, he fired him I don't think George has had one since and that was around 10years ago.
Bryan is not just George's agent but also one of the head honchos at CAA, they put together lots of movies deals from talent to movie financing, he's a long term friend of Georges and was his Oscar 'date' on the night he won for Syriana.

Feels the same someplace inside - George and Elisabetta; George and Stacy... They are both obviously sweet in their own ways, dutiful, beautiful too But it also feels like they are each great fighters... "Go-getters" might be their sales point (parlance) ... which I guess is good as well
So then, Stacy, sure was going to be at this Red Carpet to set things right from Paris... her way:) Sisters of a kind... in their world though!
And as always, George pays the price... anytime! He might consider that as being heroic, or may be even salvific... (who knows?) YUMMM Santa afterall! ha ha ha hahaaa
Great pictures once again folks... [ciao Its me, am sorry and regret that I did not wish you on time, when you did dear:) as also respond to MM:)... Late me as always I guess ;-) ha ha ha ahhah ahaaaa ]
Happy Weekend everyone

After seeing all the pictures I am speechless! I really hoped she wouldn't show up in London. The IOM premiere gave me back a little 'faith' in him but there we go again.
He really wants people to know that she is his girlfriend. The way they behave on that red carpet for once shows a couple and kind of makes me believe that he could actually be smitten.
As LL stated he wants us to like her, the whithewashing is on its way.
That one is going to last much longer than expected!
I am done, last comment for me definetly over Mr Clooney!
Bye ladies, don't change a thing you are Hilarious, smart, intelligent, witty. It's always a pleasure to read your comments!

emeraldcity wrote:George did have a manager but when he tried to claim his managers percentage on a property deal George made, he fired him I don't think George has had one since and that was around 10years ago.
Bryan is not just George's agent but also one of the head honchos at CAA, they put together lots of movies deals from talent to movie financing, he's a long term friend of Georges and was his Oscar 'date' on the night he won for Syriana.
No Em, Michael Gruber was his previous agent, not manager. Gruber tried to get a $250,000 finders fee when George bought Oleandra. I just checked it on IMDb and coincidentally the news report is dated October 22, 2002 - one day short of nine years ago.

One thing you guys may not understand about the dress is that it's probably loaned to her. Loaned dresses sometimes don't get delivered until the very last minute (and one can only hope it was cleaned since the last person wore it, but no guarantee).
I've hand-carried a dress myself to a VIP suite staying in a hotel where I worked and she was on the red carpet a few hours later. Very little time to make alterations.
How many dresses you get and what kind of dresses you get depends both on who celebrity is and also the pulling power of the stylist who's calling in the clothes from the designers. Sometimes the dress doesn't come from the designer but from a store that sells the clothes.
One stylist acquaintance of mine once 'borrowed' a dress from Harvey Nichols and was on tenterhooks the whole night because he had to return it in pristine condition the next day or pay for it himself. I say 'borrowed' because I'm not entirely sure that the store was aware that the dress was for a red carpet event and not for one of his high profile clients to try on and possibly buy.

That color would look so good on someone paler who doesn't have a spray tan. Still not feeling the hair do but give her points for effort.

She might be a newcomer to the showbiz industry, but George Clooney's girlfriend Stacy Keibler seems to have adapted pretty quickly to being in the limelight.

The former wrestler ensured all eyes were on her at the London premiere of her beau's new movie The Descendants by showing off her impressive figure in a revealing gold Maria Lucia Hohan gown.
The 31-year-old blonde looked stunning in the dress, which highlighted her curves, as she posed on the red carpet for the screening, held as part of the BFI London Film Festival.

And Clooney, 50, couldn't keep his eyes of his beautiful partner as he gazed deep into her eyes at the event.
Stacey teamed her full-length Grecian style gown with plaits wound around her head and diamond jewellery.
The pair's relationship certainly seems to be going from strength to strength, with Stacy accompanying Clooney at his recent premieres for The Descendants and his other current movie The Ides Of March.
