Yes Casey, he really does seem to have a soft spot for Shailey. She's very sweet and a little shy. IMO

He tries to make people feel at ease. Because he's been there and is a bit shy (I know, sounds weird) in unfamiliar situations, he's going to great lengths to make it easier for Shailey to cope with it.

As everyone always says He takes care of everybody. We've seen it so often.

maybe cray cray could learn from her. She is young and knows how to dress age appropriate and for the occasion. She looked lovely at NYFF.

Payne is also improving his style. Phew!

Something just occured to me! Because Shailey is in London, perhaps he's appointed himself as her chaperone/escort and will walk red carpet with her. Because of this, maybe SK went home - perhaps in a snit, or maybe if she is smart, graciously.

I think you may be right patty. BTW I misspelled her name - Shailene, not Shailee. I'm sure she needs a chaperone more than Stacy.

Don't know if the boob tape is carelessness or bad luck on Stacy's part. Maybe the slip happened when she was getting out of the car. At any rate I don't think it was the highlight of her Paris appearance.

I think he is protective of her like a big brother and/or father. It's a nice side of him to see. I also think it's funny how Stan dresses just like George in all the pictures you can see him in. No Stan, you'll never be as good looking as George. Sorry Dude. LOL

Okay, please tell me what is her problem with strapless gowns? Paris, bodice falling down, London, bodice falling down. Maybe she shouldn't be wearing strapless. At first, I thought nice gown, but now, I don't know. bodice looks like a corselette, and what in the name of heaven is that piece sticking out on bodice. Waistline looks like bag tied in middle. Doesn't she look at herself in the mirror? Don't know who the designer is, but the design is not attractive.

The one in Paris was Marchesa so this might be too. The top looks to be corset style and it has a belt she didn't pull the front down under the belt.

Maybe have the boobs and the balloon slips bodice. The dress is worse than Paris, and she seems a woman of 80 kg

Yeah, George def feels fatherly toward the girls. He has pretty much stated that. She is such a beautiful young girl, still with a lot of innocence. he is being protective of her, and so is Alexander. I think all the older male cast do. These girls did excellently in the movie and made everyone so proud of them. We will get to see that too. There seems to be a lot of love flowing between all the cast members from having spent so much time together in a fun environment and good company. George works overtime to help keep that environment loving and fun. Thats the Kentucky roots shining through. People from the country or small towns tend to be very much gracious hosts and very giving. His family was always doing that, with everyone, so he has had plenty of good examples before him.

LOL watching Stacy adjusting her 'bodice' reminds me of my granddaughter's sweet 16 party. The theme was Oscar Night and all the 16 year olds were constantly checking to make sure their bodices didn't fall down. IMO OK for a 16 year old but I would hope a 32 year old would have more confidence.

After Paris slip bet she's sorry she wore that style.

In one of the links Laevtal gave us, he is looking to her titties (lol) and her hair: what a huge huge huge improvement.

Don't expect her being beautiful and elegant on the carpet. She just doesn't have IT!
Gown is nice/pretty, but not on her and I guess not the right color for her orange skin and bleach blonde hair. It makes her shoulders ridiculously big too. I guess it is a style for petite women or women who have IT!

ps: 6 out 10 for trying to sell yourselves as a couple in sync.

but just an idea that pop in my head (it's early so I could talk nonsense) I don't remember a press conf in Paris, basically just photo op on the red carpet, nothing more, and she's there. In London : press conf. so more serious questions... not there. Likewise in TIFF (no red carpet together then, even if she was there). I didn't catch up enough for New York or LA so I'm not sure if the theory follow through (and I'm sure somebody here will correct me if not...) but could it be about how much press they'll have to do with her around ?

Sorry if your question was already answered: Paris was a Premiere (just before it opens in theaters in France). They only do press conf for film fests.

I read a sort of joke about Marchesa gowns. You can buy a Marchesa but you have to put it together yourself. LOL

Stacy is trying to look more classy. They don't make these strapless dress too well. I have noticed that many women have the same problem with them.

Well I was wrong in my opinion that she wouldn't be there as she wasn't last night. So I wonder what happened. Did it take her and her "stylists" a full day to get over the disaster that was Paris?

But I think she's got it wrong again. She's in full evening gown (again) and he's casual. And she's not comfortable in strapless so why wear it, instead of continually tugging at the bodice? Canalis was always doing that too.

I guess she is testing the size of her fake titties (tape or no tape) to see what size she should increase them when/if she gets dumped by George. She is figuring out her future gift people, give her some space!

I think they might fit better if they are custom made for you . I think Stacy probably got the dress from a store with no fittings. Maybe since Harvey Weinsteins wife owns Marchesa she gave Stacy the dresses without fittings.

I'm not surprised she is there I knew she would be she took a break yesterday.

I agree dress not right for her, and overdressed again. George even more casual than in Paris. Bodice again strapless and now she's constantly pulling it up. Waistline wrong for her. Shoes not right fit, back strap hanging down on heel. She looked like a 16 yr. old playing dressup. Shailene's dress was much better, glad she has a good advisor.
Another thought, looking at all pics of George and Stacy, and looking at pics of George and Shailene, I find that George's attitude is similar with both if them. He treats Shailene like a favorite child or niece and the body language is just the same with Stacy. IMHO

She was with him at the ides premiere in Paris so maybe she didn't want to go to the same one back to back. She looks o.k to me she is tall and they look fine together to me.

I don't think she knows what cocktail dress means or she is practicing for Oscar's red carpet to figure out what looks best on her because she was only used to dress on tank tops and panties. I am glad you call out on GC's attitude. I noticed, but didn't want to say anything... But I still think she might be the one, he is trying too much to make people like her and they are following the "news".
ps: I noticed the malfunction of her left shoe too. She is sloppy.
