Funny. Here I was thinking he looks better - and younger - than he has for a while, except that he looks like he's losing weight again. Maybe for the movie? Or maybe it's those awful, ill-fitting jeans. They look like he bought them off someone twice his size twenty years ago.

PAN - Is that what you think the beard is for? Is the guy in the movie supposed to be eighty?!!! I know he thinks he's ready to be a character actor, but starting out by playing an eighty-year-old is a bit extreme, don't you think?

Lizzy, I think he's very involved with the Swatch empire. Hayek senior appointed George to its board for an new energy initiative a few years ago - as well as being a global ambassador.

Yep, in one synopsis I read I think that's the sort of age his character is...

PAN - I don't think I can deal with an eighty-year-old George. Sheesh!He'll get there soon enough. What's the rush? Maybe he should have let Morgan Freemen have this one.

Moniguevander, I didn't mean the part should be played by a young stud. I just meant that George is aging himself prematurely. I don't expect him to be 25 forever, but he doesn't have to become a grandpa overnight.

..........and back to George and Omega and Swatch. 

And it looks as if he is on the board as a director of this - and is also a major investor...
