George Clooney: Motorcycle Man in Switzerland!

George Clooney puts his helmet on and goes for a spin on his motorcycle with some friends on a sunny Tuesday (July 24) in Lugano, Switzerland.

The 51-year-old actor and his friends took their choppers up into the mountains to enjoy the gorgeous scenic view.

George recently finished work on an upcoming movie called Gravity. He co-stars opposite Sandra Bullock in the sci-fi thriller about astronauts who attempt to return to earth after debris crashes into their space shuttle, leaving them drifting alone in space. Gravity hits theaters next year!

George Clooney is often seen on his motorbike, but if he hoped to sport a dashing look as he took to the road with pals around Italy's Lake Como he was very much mistaken.
The 51-year-old actor looked like he belonged in the cast of 2007 comedy Wild Hogs, which starred John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy as four men who embark on a middle aged motorbike misadventure.
Dressed in a plain polo-shirt, jeans, sunglasses and a helmet, Clooney was flanked by Grant Heslov, who starred alongside him in The Men Who Stare At Goats, and another pal.


And the trio appeared to be having a great time as they spat up dirt and cruised through Lake Como, which lies between Milan and the border of Switzerland.
Clooney showed he was a Rebel Without a Cause after skidding his Harley Davidson close to two shocked passer-by pensioners.
It was a brief spot of bad boy behaviour however, and he smiled his apologies before racing away.


They then took a break from their (sort of) wild antics, enjoying the breathtaking views of Swiss city Lugano.
The boys took to the road again, and proved they were born to be mild after making sure they didn't upset anyone else during their relaxing riding.
Despite his action man heroics on screen, he makes sure he is careful on the road after a nasty accident in 2007.

Clooney suffered a hairline fracture of a rib after a colliding with a car in 2007.
He and his then girlfriend Sarah Larson were riding on her Harley when the accident happened - with Larson also suffering a broken foot.

This is the first photo I've seen of Gio on a bike, remember reading on C CC that he was in a bad bike accident while out riding with George. Thanks for the pics, great to see George out with buddies riding his bike. Wild Hogs my butt, George and Co. don't compare to those guys/movie!

Video - George Clooney first interview after his motorcyle accident in New Jersey in 2007. I think the jury is still out on who was at fault. Clooney claims the driver of the car was in the left lane and cut him off in the right lane. Driver says he was in a "single lane." My money is on George.

I'm beginning to agree with those that think these photos are not necessarily posted or published at the same time they are taken. Grant was in the very first photos of them arriving in Como; we didn't see him again until the first bike ride in Switzerland; and now he's back again for the first time since that ride (which was shortly after the Fourth of July Food Poisoning Fiesta). I would think we would have seen him out at one or two of these lunches/dinners in between if he's been there the whole time and these photos are being released in order. It also doesn't seem likely that he'd be flying back and forth to America for a few days at a time. All they're doing is writing together; that can be accomplished via email. I think Grant is the key to the picture timeline. He's our Da Vinci Code!

IMO, when George is photographed with Stacy he looks borderline manorexic. He looks alot healthier in these pictures.

even though I think she has lost weight, I think that her size still overshadows George.

I was thinking the same thing. I have never seen a person look so different in photos, when the only variable is the person standing next to him. The only other explanation I have for the difference in these photos is that these were taken prior to the food poisoning issue, and that's why he looks a little heartier than he did in the last, post-vomiting set. This does not explain why he always looks like death warmed over when standing next to her, however.

Yes i was thinking that these were def dif pics, but hadn't thought that maybe from an earlier time. Grants tee is a darker grey than white, looks like in them. The newer ones with Stace looks very white. Also George's shirt is very dif too from the Stace ones. Looks like a hoodie Tee.

In case there is any question of level of interest I notice that this thread with George and friends on their bikes has only generated 33 posts while the thread with him, Stacy, family and friends have currently used up a whopping 371 posts.

Now we know why he has Stacy in his life. For PR!

Although, speaking of comments, I noticed on sites like Gossip Cop comments about GC are minimal....compared to posts on people like TC or anything Twilight related.....I was thinking we are probably the only ones who really notice GC and what is going on with him...Just my observation....

I noticed that too silly girl, but I think the PR about Tom Cruise is mainly about Katie Holmes leaving him. G needs to create some sort of a scandal if he wants more attention, but truthfully I think G's trying to keep a low profile.

What if Grant has been there all this time working, he's probably tired of all the whoop-la that goes with going out in public with George. Bet he could go all over the place without G&CO. and not be noticed. But it would be strange for him to be away from his family for so long when not on location filming.
