I hope you have / had a very special day with your beloved ones!

I've been away for some days, was on a cruise on the river Danube with my husband, his father and his brother for their birthdays. And since the Internet access was so expensive there, I decided not to check COH during this time. It's really fascinating when you return and read every discussion after it's finished (or at least progressed). If I had checked COH a few times every day, I'd joined the discussions, and it's really different to read it afterwards.

Does anyone know a recipe for a HOT Tequila drink.....Like a Hot Toddy, or Hot Whisky...Hot Port..Hot Punch...Hot Buttered Rum...Mulled Wine....

Get the picture has to be HOT, temperature wise...

Also, George's Tequila comes in different flavours ....which would transfer best to a hot drink....

2 oz. Hornitos Plata Tequila.
.25 oz. Honey.
.25 oz. Agave nectar.
Lemon wedge.
Cinnamon stick.
Cloves.
4 oz. Hot water.

As I thought they use the Reposado....That is the one I have....Interesting night ahead....

[size=30]CHOCOLATE CALIENTE[/size]

4 oz. Casamigos Reposado Tequila
3 Tbs of Instant Hot Chocolate Powder
2 Cups of Whole Milk
1/2 Cup of Half and Half
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
Chopped Dark Chocolate (2-3 small squares)
1/8 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
Marshmallow Cubes

Mix hot chocolate, whole milk, chocolate chunks, cinnamon, cayenne in a pot over low heat until all chocolate has melted into a nice sippable consistency. Add Casamigos Reposado Tequila, serve, and add marshmallow.

This is disappointing as it's not really a "Toddy" imo, if it's cooled to room temperature...but hayho i'll give it a go....

1 1/2 oz. Casamigos Reposado Tequila
1/2 oz. Homemade Grenadine

Warm a heatproof 6 1/2 oz thick coffee glass with hot water. Add ingredients to glass and fill with hot water.To create Homemade Grenadine:  1 Cup Pomegranate Juice, 1 Cup Superfine Baker’s Sugar, ¼ Parts Fresh Lemon Juice,  5 Drops Orange Flower Water. On low heat, warm pomegranate juice until it starts to steam (do not boil). Stir in sugar until it dissolves. Add lemon and orange flower water. Let it cool at room temperature (do not put directly in the fridge) serve.
