Happy birthday to Clooney's Open House!

Oops, I forgot: happy birthday everyone! Clooney's Open House turned five years old yesterday!

And wow, what a half-decade it's been, eh? I wonder what the next five years will bring us?

Happy birthday to Clooney's Open House hopefully we will have many more years of George and his accomplishments work related and personal.

Thanks to you all for Clooney's Open House!  A lot of changes over 5 years, eh?

And how!  This forum started as George and Elisabetta's relationship came into its end stages and once the break up was confirmed I really thought that that would be it for this site because Clooney sites go very quiet when he's single.

But (luckily??) he was single only for a matter of a month or so IIRC and then Stacy Kiebler came on the scene.  An oh boy, this place kicked off again. Stacy came and went, we heard a few rumours and then Amal moved into his life. Then, he only went and got married, something that I for one never thought he'd do.

Oh, and he made some films too, but mostly that doesn't seem to have held the interest of posters nearly as much as his love life.  :p

And I've been here since day 1 !!!  Ins and outs and upside-downs!

Yup, you and Merlin are the only two regulars from the first day to still be here. I think we lost Lighterside, Manhattan Maven, Henway, Emerald City and j.

I've only been on board for a couple of years, but it feels much longer - in a good way! I've learned so much about movies from people like Way2Old and Sevens, I've learned about life in other countries from so many of you and I've laughed myself silly at Pattygirl's jokes. (Really, Patty, where on earth do you find them all!?)

All of this because Katie is a George fan! Many thanks, Katie, for tackling what I know has sometimes been more of a pain than a pleasure. I hope you never decide it's not worth the effort.
