He wore a really strange moustache for Confessions. Would also make more sense to me since GC directed JR  in this movie.

The pictures look old.  Julia looks a lot slimmer. George looks younger.  They've always been such good friends.

I think this series came from an interview they did together to promote Ocean's 11, in which they interviewed each other (I want to say in Esquire?).  I only remember it because it came out shortly after 9/11, and a disclaimer ran with the interview that it had obviously been done prior to those events, otherwise the conversation wouldn't have been as goofy as it turned out.  (Sample exchange:  

G: I just got back from a bike trip through the Alps. 
 J: Does your ass hurt?
G: Yes, but that's not why.)

The timing would make me think the mustache was for Confessions.

Yes, that's the same interview.  That's on YouTube.

Actually I don't think the article in Esquire was the same as the Oprah interview which was set up at George's house.  The Esquire interview was supposedly at The Bel-air Bar and Grill in LA.  They talked about their careers and a discussion about using pot.

And now Julia Roberts has another accolade to add to her many, as PEOPLE Magazine name the Oscar winner their World's Most Beautiful cover star for a record fifth time. 
The 49-year-old actress has previously claimed the cover spot in 2010, 2005, 2000 and 1991, and joked in her accompanying interview that she was keen to boast about the achievement to her good pal George Clooney.

There's one Hollywood pal Julia is particularly pleased to have beaten though - her friend and co-star George Clooney, who has been PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive twice.

Of her husband, the actress admits she still gets butterflies around him, gushing: 'I mean every day my husband walks in the door it's like a recurring dream. I'm like, "Ah, he's back!"'
Admitting that she thinks she is 'currently peaking', Julia reveals that she was in a bubble after her most famous movie Pretty Woman soared to the top of the box office in the early nineties, explaining she was filming another movie in a remote town at the time of her whirlwind success.

'I remember reading … "Pretty Woman came out this weekend and made this much money" and I thought, "Is that a lot of money? Is that good? Is that great?" I didn't really know.' 
Julia was last seen on the big screen opposite Clooney in the thriller Money Monster last year.
In 2017 she stars in Wonder, a drama about August Pullman (played by Room actor Jacob Tremblay), a boy with facial differences that features the actress as his supportive mother.
Adapted from the best-selling book by R.J. Palacio, the cast also includes Owen Wilson, Mandy Patinkin, and Daveed Diggs and is directed by Stephen Chbosky.
