Style in black and white! Amal Clooney puts on a leggy display on a date night with George

He may make thousands of women swoon but there is only one woman that makes George Clooney get weak at the knees - and it is no wonder.
The 53-year-old Hollywood heartthrob treated his love Amal to an intimate dinner date in New York on Friday night.
While dining in a meal of on of Manhattan's finest restaurants, no doubt the actor struggled to focus on the feast before him with such a stunning dinner companion.

For their night out at Mario Batali's Babbo, the 37-year-old showed that it is possible to exude class and style while being a little sexy.
The lawyer wowed in a black and white mini dress which made her long legs the ultimate accessory.
The rather unusual frock featured billowing chiffon sleeves and black and white piping around its edge.

George Clooney makes a handsome exit after enjoying a meal on Friday evening (April 3) in New York City.
The 53-year-old actor and his wife Amal treated themselves to a nice dinner at Babbo Restaurant for the Easter Weekend.

Currently, George is in town filming his upcoming movie Money Monster, also starring Jack O’Connell, Julia Roberts, and Caitriona Balfe.
Money Monster follows Lee Gates (Clooney), a TV personality whose insider tips made him the money guru of Wall Street. When Kyle Budwell (O’Connell) loses all of his family’s money on a bad tip, he holds Lee and his entire show hostage on air threatening to kill Lee if he does not get the stock up.

As for the paps, I find it hilarious that people surf this site waiting for fresh pics of George/Amal to show up so they can jump on them and complain about this that or the other and then in the same breath complain about paps being there. You can't have it both ways. Next.

Amal forgot to wear pants with that tunic top.

A lot of the 'tone' of her legs is the result of being so thin and wearing sky-high heels. Her musculature can't help but be highlighted. Not saying that's all of it, but definitely some. Personally, I don't think her legs are all that nice. But they do add the curb appeal. And George likes it.

No, Amal is very fit and slim. And she has very toned muscles. It's quite obvious. And I am sure George loves the way she looks.

I like when George rocks the dark suit/dark shirt combo. Very sexy. I don't know what's going on with his hair, though. Too poofy on top for me. But otherwise, I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers.

We'll just have to disagree about Amal. Yes, she is slim. The "fit" part, I don't know. She looks to me like she diets a lot more than she works out. Her arms are just skinny (though better than they were last summer), and if you compare her legs to those of a woman who runs/bikes/Pilates/whatever, you can see that the leg muscles that are most toned are different from the ones built up from keeping oneself balanced on thin 4-inch spikes. I'll grant that she looks more "toned" than she has in the past. Just not sure it's from being "fit."

But that's just my perspective.

Meh. To me, George looks like he could use a good home-cooked meal.

Can you imagine working (or flying across the country) for hours during the day, then having to get dressed up, be trailed by photographers, and keep a public face on, just to have dinner? Every freaking night? (I know, I know. I'm making a point.) It's the life he wants, and he's used to it, but it would wear on me.

It's just the two of them, so maybe the 'family/home base' thing isn't so important, but I can't help but think that if you're going to be someplace for two months or more, a rented house makes a better haven than a hotel, no matter how ritzy said hotel is.

Thanks to Nicky (forgot to thank you earlier) and to PAN for the pics. I assume that the Caryle apt. would have a kitchen. But wonder if they would be able to order from the hotel menu.

Everyone likes a home cooked meal and George (and now Amal) probably have periods of time where they are eating at home more than out and enjoy the privacy. But being on location for many film projects over the years Im sure George gets used to eating out more than "in". And it's part of his lifestyle. Whether in Como or Cabo he mixes it up. He does socialize so much that I think eating out for him is something he thoroughly enjoys. So he just accepts it. And since Amal doesn't cook I'm curious how they will handle average evenings at home. Maybe he will be grilling a lot Smile

The food thing: as I understood it the crew of the film have been told to eat out in NYC - no catering on set, so good for NYC restaurants

But dinner with your wife at a lovely Italian restaurant on a Saturday night when you've just got back from LA probably doesn't count!

Bound to be able to order in from the menu downstairs at the hotel too.........

While some of us spent our Good Friday eve shoving a Double Double into our eating hole while browsing the “gay homemade” section of PornHub (because that’s how Jesus would want us to spend Good Friday), Professor Amal Clooney spent her night eating fancy things with her husband of 6 months George from Facts of Life. Yes, they made it to 6 months. So tomorrow, make sure you wash your pits and wear your “good” t-shirt, because Jesus will probably make an encore performance to let everyone know that we’ve had a good run, but it’s time for the world to end now that George Clooney’s extremely sociable lady ass has been married for half a year.

George and Amal had dinner at Babbo in NYC and The Daily Mail says that when they left the restaurant, she put on a “leggy display” for the paps. “Leggy display” sounds like a wall of sewed-off legs that the FBI would find in the basement of a serial killer’s house. George Clooney looks like he was putting on a diarrhea display. He looks like he’s singing “gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now” to himself as Amal throws a “thanks for calling the paps for me, sweets” look at the guy holding the door. George Clooney needs to squeeze his cheeks, hold it in and stop rushing through the pap stroll. Amal Clooney did not put on that exquisitely designed drill team costume just so she can rush through that shit. Give her some time to sparkle!

I've never heard of this website before. It's a nasty piece of work and I wouldn't read it again, but I do think their description of her dress was spot on. That's just what it looked like!

I'm not being catty. I think she looked good in the dress (what little there was of it) but it wouldn't have looked out of place on a court at half-time. Very Happy

And I do really wish she would lower her hemline a bit. No matter how good her legs are, her skirts are too short for a grown woman. IMO that's one reason George sometimes looks like her's out with his daughter when he's with her.

I say some things very seriously. Some things I say just to be funny. Other times, I'm just throwing shit out there -- because, you know, I'm capable of holding one mental position while voicing another. I'll continue to do that, and it would be super to do it without being reprimanded. I actually like the differences of opinion I read here, and I like to take unpopular stances once in a while.
