Batman vs. Batman News: Married George Clooney Fires Back at Christian Bale after ‘Whiney’ Comments?

Batman vs. Batman News: Married George Clooney Fires Back at Christian Bale after ‘Whiney’ Comments? [UPDATE]
Forgetting his place in the Hollywood hierarchy Chris Nolan's Batman, Christina Bale, decided to take a couple jabs at his predecessor, George Clooney, who recently married Amal Alamuddin, for complaining about the tabloids in the weeks leading up to his much anticipated Vencian wedding. According to the latest gossip news updates: the ER actor thinks Christian's little criticisms are cute, but reportedly wishes he would think for a little while longer before he speaks -- so that his lack of wit doesn't distract from his lack of latent.

For two people that seem to pretend like they have a lot of respect for one another, Christian Bale and George Clooney reportedly have a lot of pretty nasty things to say about each other.
The perpetually angry Bale drew first blood when he practically called George Clooney names as he insisted the Hollywood icon's feud with the Daily Mail only served to make things worse for everyone.
Christina explained to WSJ that he much preferred to handle the drama with a bit of silent dignity instead of crying about it:
"It's boring, isn't it? You know what I mean? It doesn't matter that he talks about [privacy].
"It's like, come on, guys, just shut up.
"Just get on with it and live your lives and stop whining about it.
"I prefer not to whine about it."
A source supposedly close to Clooney claimed in In Touch Weekly's latest December 15, issue that George really wasn't all that upset with Bale as he has come to expect asinine things to come flopping out of his little grimace of a mouth every now and again:
"George laughed off Christian's comments...it's simply the pot calling the kettle back.
"George considers Christian to be a great actor who just happens to always have something to bitch about.
"He knows that sooner or later, Christian will lose his temper and make headlines for the same thing he is criticizing him about."
The source goes on to insist that whatever the case George will never get an apology out of Christian, because Bale has a huge chip on his shoulder knowing that he will never reach the level of fame and influence the Clooney has amassed at just 53-years-old:
"Christian doesn't regret what he said.
"He has no patience for Hollywood big shots like George spewing their personal and political views, then complaining about their popularity."
Forget about Ben Affleck and whomever they got doing their best to be Superman these days...let's let the two retired Batmen go at with maybe Michael Keaton there to referee the whole thing and you've got yourself a blockbuster.
But no Val Kilmer...never again.

This article surprises me.. This is the first time I've seen anything Classicalite has written about George that doesn't try to show him in a bad light or make fun of him. It's about time.

LizzyNY I've never heard of Classicalite. Are they a legitimate media source? I'm not convinced that George has said anything (through a source) about this story. In Touch Weekly, claiming a source talked to them, are they any more of a reputable source? aren't they almost as bad as National Enquirer?

Donnamarie - I think Classicalite is a site for classical music fans. I've read articles there when searching bing for stories about George online. In Touch Weekly is more of a celebrity gossip site, but not as bad as the Enquirer - more like ET than TMZ.

Thanks LizzyNY. But why does Classicalite report on celebrity news then? Why don't they like George? Cause he can't sing??! And isn't Stan the one one who would respond publicly for George. Or in cases like this would George allow something to leak kinda of unofficially from his or pr camp so he wouldn't have to make an official statement? This is like 20 questions. Sorry.

Donnamarie - Can't answer any of your questions. 
As far as Classicalite goes, I guess opera fans like gossip as much as anyone else. Why their reporter doesn't like George is anyone's guess. Jealousy maybe?
I don't know how George would respond to something like this - or even if he would. It might depend on the mood he was in when he heard about it or maybe a need to keep his name in the news. Who knows?

Bottom line I don't believe the story. I guess IMO I don't think George would officially respond to this outburst by Bale just for the sake of responding. I just figured he would take the high road and let Bale's own reputation and past speak for itself. George has a pretty strong and positive reputation in Hollywood and don't think anyone would ever consider him a whiner. A womanizer, yes but not a whiner
