Being a new poster on this board I noticed that Elisabetta and Amal are the two of George's women that inspire the strongest feelings with suggest that G could have been pretty serious with her too or at least the poster on this board thought he was.

I'm so happy for Elisabetta and Brian! She looks over-the-moon in love and simply stunning!
They make such a gorgeous couple and I wish them an eternity of happiness!!!

maybe it's theway the photos were taken  (along with the large veil) but I cannot figure out what that dress looks like....  Is there a shawl?

If you look at the daily mail pictures it looks like she is wearing a coat over the dress. I think the dress is strapless. I'm thinking since she sold the pictures she isn't allowed to show the actual dress.

Hoping the best for Elisabetta, she looks very happy.  George meets a girl a year ago and she is the love of his life.  This still seems strange to me.  With his history he is in love with these women until he gets busy with films.  Might have been a good idea if George and Amal would have waited until he was busy with his films to see if this is the life for her.   It seems most of them get bored and want to move on.  I know, I know she has a career to keep her busy.  Once she is married she is going to  be hounded by the paparazzi, how is her employers going to like this, how much is she really going to like her whole life being an open book?  Just sayin.

Lovely, she looks perfect, and he looks handsome, just beautiful.

She was wearing a coat over the gown. I think it could have been better a beautiful cape would have looked better over the gown. She looks  very nice and happy. That cover shot could have been better.

It looked like a coat to me in the pictures the way it fitted around her arms.

The dress alone is very beautiful, she could have done without the coat, but she does look beautiful and happy, good for her.

I hope Amal doesn't choose a strapless gown, it seems she doesn't do well wearing strapless.  In the photo's at the dinner they attended, she seems to have had a bad nip-slip, that's what it appears to me.

She sold the exclusive of her wedding and the wedding dress to Alfonso Signorini, the Director of the magazine CHI for a certain amount of money with the stipulation that she could not show the dress to the public until the magazine came out (yesterday), so she had to cover it with a cape (some Italians said it looked like a shroud) while she was in public view.  This is the dress without the cape:

However at the reception she changed into a Cavalli short gold mini dress that looked like the roaring 20's, even to cut the traditional wedding cake.

Lots of guests with revealing clothes, the only ones dressed appropriately were the americans from Brian's side of the family.

I adore her gown. It's stunning and  classy and I absolutely love all of the beautiful lace, I only wish it were more fitted at the waist to show off her incredibly toned body.
The reception dress is absolutely gorgeous and in all my favorite hues.
Looks like it was a glorious wedding and they couldn't be more in love.
It's really wonderful that she's finally met her true prince charming!!!

A bit classless of that person in the last photo who seems to be too busy videoing them on this phone, rather than paying attention -

I'm a bit surprised at all the cleavage on display. When we were sightseeing at the churches in Italy they wouldn't even let us in if they thought we weren't properly covered up. Some places even had smocks for women to wear. I guess the rules are different for wedding guests.

I have found a close up of the dress of Elisabetta as she was getting ready to leave for church with her dog Piero wearing a bow-tie.  Frankly as many people thought it was just too much: Too much fluff, with lace, pearls, the bodice seems to have cotton balls glued to it.  I hope that Amal chooses a more classy wedding dress.  It looks better from afar.

All the photos are fabulous, very much OTT as far as I'm concerned, but still fabulous to see.
The occasion reflects Elli's style beautifully and it's lovely to see.
She looks very intense during the wedding ceremony and I think she's taking it all seriously,
despite all the froth & bubbles.

I'm assuming it's how it's done in Italy/ Sardinia ?

I'm always shocked when I see Itailian starlets marry . I don't know how you can go into church dressed like that. There is a time and place for sexy I don't think your wedding it it.

Well I will give her credit for changing for the reception into something more comfortable.  I never did understand why brides would want to wear the fluffy wedding dress during the reception.

Must just be me but I was so comfortable in my wedding dress I could have worn it every day

Me too Picachu, you only wear it for one day and with the expense you may as well get the most out of it.

"

The proceeds from the auction will go to the community Criaturas dealing with minors. The commercial value gown is of 15 thousand euro.

That's a nice thing for her to do.

I agree. 

Elisabetta strikes me as a bit morally bankrupt so I am surprised she went for the full church wedding - but the inside of that church looks stunning. Her marrying a surgeon seems an odd match but I bet he is infatuated with her. It's impressive that he is a surgeon but he does seem a bit short.

The full church wedding is because that is her fairy tale. When has she ever set foot in a church prior to her wedding day? Him either.

Bride in white. Ignore being morally bankrupt. Keep the illusion in full bloom. He is very short and needs a trophy wife to boost his ego. A surgeon and a showgirl. What a mismatch. This is very simple to see.

Her morals are between her and God who are we to judge. As for his height  what has that got to do with anything they love each other and wanted to get married .Love is love no matter how tall fat  or what your job is it doesn't matter.
