George Clooney’s fiancée Amal Alamuddin cuts a stylish figure at a beauty salon after she is showered with engagement gifts from friends and family at her London home

Amal Alamuddin put on an elegant sartorial display as she was spotted out and about in London on Wednesday.

George Clooney’s fiancée showcased her effortless style in a tailored monochrome ensemble as she made her way out of the John Frieda salon the night after her engagement party with her British relatives.

The 36-year-old teamed her crisp white trousers with a chic black blouse while she toted a large monochrome handbag.

She also held her blazer on her arm as she took in the Spring sunshine and shielded her eyes with classic large sunglasses.

Amal completed her outfit with black pumps and her freshly styled brunette locks as well as flashing her £450,000 seven-carat diamond engagement ring.
The human rights lawyer jetted back to London the day before and was showered with gifts as she celebrated her engagement with her British relatives and friends in her London home.

Amal proves once again that she is both brains and beauty after she was seen at Heathrow airpor t in a pair of ripped, loose fitting jeans which featured a turn-up.

Making sure she was comfy for her flight the Brit wore a taupe coloured top with matching cardigan, while she added a cool twist with a pair of silver brogues.

The brunette beauty just had what would have been a weekend to remember as she and her husband-to-be George Clooney celebrated their upcoming nuptials with a group of close pals.

Well wishes: Gifts continued to arrive at Amal's home as she celebrated her engagement with her British relatives and friends in her London home

On Sunday the lawyer, who famously represented WikiLeaks' founder Julian Assange, was seen heading to Café Habana, the restaurant owned by his business partner Rande Gerber, in Malibu, California, alongside the Hollywood heartthrob.

As well as celebrating his engagement, George was also celebrating his 53rd birthday - and shared a party with Bono, who turned 54 on May 10 as well as Bono's daughter Jordan, who shares her dad's birthday and turned 25, as well as Rande, who turned 52 on April 27.

A source told MailOnline: 'It was a real family affair, Rande and his wife Cindy Crawford had their kids Presley and Kaia there and everyone celebrated into the evening.
'There was karaoke and a Casamigos tequila bar set up outside and Bono and Jordan sang 'Something Stupid' while Cindy sang We Are Family. Bono's U2 bandmate The Edge even sang Wonderwall by Oasis.

Meanwhile The Daily Mirror reported that George sent a tongue-in-cheek message to the lawyer after meeting her at a charity event, where she refused to take his number

According to the Mirror, Clooney reportedly wooed Amal by sending her an email joking that the 'reported hottest man in the world should meet with the hottest human rights lawyer in the world,' as Amal was once voted the ‘hottest barrister in London.’

Although she found the email amusing, she still made Clooney wait a few days for a reply, a friend told the paper.

And George’s tactic clearly worked as the famous bachelor - who was married from 1989 to 1993 and later and despite a string of girlfriends, claimed he was not the marrying type - decided to ask her to marry him.

I also have not seen anything in her elegant clothes. I find it strange long white slacks with black shoes, the look is heavy, she should wear a shoe in a neutral color. The blouse is also too wide and misaligned. Definitely the personal taste of the woman is pitiful.

@Mazy - Agree 100%. I'm not her biggest fan either, but that's just nasty. She's an attractive woman. To me, she seems to have the same body type as Angelina Jolie - tall, slim, with very thin arms and legs. I don't think she's anorexic and I certainly don't think she's gay. I think she looks very pretty in these photos.

Hello, people in London are really not that bothered. This is John Frieda's Salon Alford Street London, I don't mean to be disrespectful to my fellow George Cloooney fans, but there are far more famous (in their own right) women attending here daily. To be papped so perfectly coming out of the FRONT door, it was set up Sad

After the disaster of the Airport arrival, where she looked simply awful, and had scant regard for the people hauling her luggage, never engaging in any conversation, simply engrossed in her phone.
Even George must have thought it was time for some damage limitation.
Her mother's picture says it all. The future.

She does't look as happy with this "set up" as with the Airport, nobody likes being told what to wear, or how to behave.

Yes pan, I love big bags on taller ladies but I'm too short for them as well.
Although I did go mad once and get a big bag, non leather,
from M&S just because it's my favourite Lavender colour. Lol
It's very useful for travelling in the the car on holiday.

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I love that she went to the salon to get all done up AFTER she'd left George behind. She got prettied up for herself and in preparation to return to work, and she clearly knows how to put together a proper business casual outfit. She just prefers to be relaxed and comfortable in her off hours. No glam squad before every outing for this lady!

Im not saying that AA deserves to be bashed, but I didn't think that the others deserved to be bashed as much as everyone here did to them.

Ummm...are you reading any of the other posts? In this thread alone her looks are bashed, her intentions are maligned, and her sexuality is called into question. There's an entire thread devoted to the, I'll generously call it "idea", that she's basically holding George against his will and has nefarious intentions. Maybe you missed the enlightening discussion on her medieval, mysterious religious beliefs, to which she OBVIOUSLY adheres because aren't all Arabs religious fanatics?

I think Amal would prefer our complaints about Stacy's skirt length or hairstyle over the nastiness we've been slinging at her.
