I'd love to sit down with Cindy and pick her brain about how she got into business!

And I could use some decorating tips from Rande (with an e)!

Yes, I'm joking but hell I'd give a left nut (if I had one) to have lunch with that group. Oh well, don't have that kind of money though. I'll bet that prize will go for a nice sum!

Celebrities including George Clooney, David Copperfield, Sammy Hagar and Siegfried & Roy are lining up with extraordinary gift packages to support the Keep Memory Alive Power of Love Gala and auction at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday, April 26.

This year’s glittering event is a salute to recording star Gloria Estefan and husband and producer Emilio Estefan. Hosted by Sir Michael Caine, Quincy Jones and Kenny Ortega, the night also will feature entertainment by Carole King, Queen Latifah, Rita Moreno, Jordin Sparks, Andy Garcia, Ricky Martin, Jon Secada and Fantine, with more still being added.

Chefs Wolfgang Puck and Masaharu Morimoto are in charge of the cuisine for the expected 1,200 guests. Here’s Wolf on YouTube explaining his support of the Las Vegas charity.

But it’s the live auction items that are already starting a royal buzz. Four people will win George Clooney’s exclusive invitation to lunch or dinner, with Casamigos tequila partners and husband and wife Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford and him, at their spectacular estate in Cabo San Lucas.

Another Cabo package has been created by Red Rocker Sammy Hagar for dinner at his beachfront home there, followed by a nightlong party with him at his Cabo Wabo Cantina as part of a three-night stay in an oceanfront villa at Palmilla resort, ranked No. 1 in Mexico by Travel + Leisure Magazine.

David Copperfield will be the host of another spectacular trip for four people to his island home on Musha Cay and Copperfield Bay in the Bahamas, one of the world’s top luxury destinations. I’m told not only will he perform magic tricks but also he’ll instruct in at least one to take home from the visit. Photographer Jeff Mitchum will be on the island at the same time to capture photos.

For the first time, illusionists Siegfried & Roy will open up their Jungle Palace sanctuary to host a gourmet dinner for the winning bidder and 11 friends. “Iron Chef” Morimoto will prepare the dinner to be served in the Lions Den after the Magicians of the Century tour the visitors through the estate and grounds.

Additionally, chef Michael Mina will travel to his winning bidder’s home to cook and serve dinner for 10. Who knows if his business partner Andre Agassi will drop in on the party? Hollywood producer Jerry Weintraub will host a moviemaker luncheon in Hollywood for his winning bidder.

In addition to Mediterranean yacht trips, Caribbean cruises and travels to the Monaco Grand Prix and the Road America Race, producer and singer Kenny ”Babyface” Edmonds will host a songwriting and recording session for his winning bidder.
If guests don’t care to hang with the stars, they can bid on a 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith, the first time outside the Phantom family of fine cars. It’s built for a top speed of 155 mph and in 4.4 seconds races silently from 0 to 60 mph.

There are a slew of high-roller items in the Silent Auction category that are too numerous to dazzle with now. One other very special auction item will be revealed at the last moment that involves a onetime opportunity with a major award-winning TV series.

for Persons with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

The Betty Clooney Center (BCC), located near Los Angeles, California, has been serving the needs of persons with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) since 1983. The Center is a program of the Betty Clooney Foundation for Persons with Brain Injury. The Foundation was named in memory of Betty Clooney, who was Nick Clooney and Rosemary Clooney's younger sister, and the aunt of George Clooney. Betty died of an aneurysm in 1976.

As a result of Betty’s death, the Clooney family decided to establish a Brain Injury Center that addresses the needs of survivors of cognitive disabilities caused by traumatic brain injury, strokes, aneurisms, brain tumors, brain storms, brain cancer, and brain damage from trauma, age and other neurological injuries.

The Clooney family created a Center where a variety of rehabilitative classes, support groups, training events, vocational services, and assessments are provided to people who have sustained a traumatic brain injury.

The Betty Clooney Center for Persons with Traumatic Brain Injury, a wonderful community organization, has been fortunate enough to have the help of family members of people with traumatic brain injury, volunteers, and TBI professionals from the medical, social service, cultural arts and therapeutic industries. @ It's me ... No what I understood is that the auction will be held on the 26 April and then they will announce a winner. The winner will be who auctioned highest. So everyone can auction on the 26 April. No winner before that and I guess George will not be there on the 26th April he just provided the price which will be auctioned.

And I guess once they have a winner then they need to discuss with the winner and George and co a date.

Remember this is for all three George, Cindy and Rande (with an e). Last year Cindy brought in $110,000. on her own. So I think you might be right on the figure over $500,000. depending on the fan base of the two. I would guess Rande (with an e) has some fans but mostly by association.
