George presenting at the Oscars

Just read this on Just jared - what do you think?

The year he was directing and acting in Leatherheads,he left the set a flew to LA to present at the oscars,but no red carpet(if I"M remembering correctly)but didn't he win the year before?

In all the "big" sites, there is no mention of George presenting anything. He's still big enough that he would be mentioned, I think. I saw his schedule and he would have to make it a real quick trip as he is scheduled first thing Monday morn to start shooting. So, I think that Newsweek got mixed up. But, maybe that's why Eli is in LA, to get ready to go to the Oscars, with or without George?

There are a ton of Oscar parties she can crash.....

And she'll walk in and say "Ima the girlfrienda ofa..." cuz' we know she doesn't have a name of her own!
