I´m a little blue now. Went to AMEX last night. Now I can say it, cause it´s over. Had to say bye bye baby, baby good-bye to my on-off thing, pardon my love HFL, (Herbalife, Cayman Island). It was sweet. 5 wonderful months. (100% gain in 6 months, chart is art). It will fly today, without me...where will it be by the xmas...

I don't know if it's the lack of carbs or what, but I've just spent 15 minutes in tears of laughter in the office because I got emails from two travel agents. One company is called Windy Feelings and the other is called Uranus Travels.

I got the giggles just wishing the two would partner up.

I just want to give a shout-out to Katiedot and LornaDoone. I remember you guys from the Sarah Larson days on imdb, deadc's blog and Clooney's Cookie Crumbs. I always greatly appreciated your posts! Is Caged Goods still around? I always loved her posts, as well.

Ugh not the best 2 days. It's the end of school holidays so I had a few things planned for kiddies, but my daughter spent Wednesday throwing up every 30 minutes for 8 hrs now all of a sudden my 4 year old started the same thing today, he's been throwing up for 5 hrs and counting. Poor little bub gets scared and cries for me to help him. He's only had a little bit to drink, refusing everything. Hopefully he will get some sleep. Yep this is the fun side of parenting that no-one tells you about! Sleepless nights and endless cleaning ahead for me.

It's just yuck, not much you can do except cuddle them and beg them to sip a little water or icypole.

I don´t know what to do. I have this golf thing tomorrow (kind of competition for women, sponsor thing), I forgot to cancel, it´s too late now. It´s raining and will rain tomorrow. I don´t want to go! And evening...dinner. Spare me. I just do not want to do it. Besides I was suppose to practise, second time golfing for this season. What a great day it´s going to be...

My little one had a rough night but has now stopped throwing up all over the place, its good this virus doesn't last long, now waiting for our eldest to catch it - so taking it easy this weekend.

Carla - go play golf, great exercise, calming etc - I played competitively for about 5 years, but admit that in the end I got so bored with it I haven't played since. Not sure if they will go ahead if its seriously raining, golf is usually cancelled in that instance.

Oh, the minis, so glad those days are over for me! Now it's my children's turn to clean up after their children

Not exactly earth shattering news. Today in the aqua gym this guy, who often has been there at the same time to swim. I have thought he is just being polite when he says hi and goodbye. Today before leaving he swam close and said he´s done for the day. Introduced himself (first name) and waited if I will say mine. How difficult is that? Very. I mean, he didn´t ask my 5-year plan or anything. I was so unprepared... awkward moment. I decided not to tell him my name.

Better not to talk to them. I believe I´m (we are) couple of iphone app away from never having to communicate verbally with men ever again anyway (if we don´t want to). So I couldn´t be bothered.  

Bonne soirée he said before he left. Bonne soirée.
When my session was over I went to the counter to change next week sessions from evenings to mornings...problem solved for now. I think.

Unpleasant? Depends on what you find pleasant. He must be doing it all the time. Certainly got no signal from me and still....

I don´t mind if they are flirty, if it is light and fun without ulterior motives. And the guy is laid back, humble and funny. I know one that is like that, amazing guy. He sends texts that make you sit there smiling at your phone. He is a stable guy. When I look at the horse´s box I can tell right away if it was him or some other person who did it. After he´s been taking care of things they look different, better. That´s quality. And I appreciate everyday quality like that a lot!

I´m quite simple. If I like him he will know. If I like what he is doing I will tell him. Straight and honest.

hey there! That Sarah Larson blog (the one with that her school chum started) was crazy! I never posted on IMDB they wanted credit card info on there so I never got an account. So if you ever do see someone posting as LD it AIN'T me!!

Joanna, my next shoot is gladiators; not roman but thracian, as in Spartacus. Have to make my costumes tho, and since I cant afford to buy leather, I keep an eye out for a couch tossed out on the cyrb, and then go back there some night with my trusty razor knife and cut the good leather off the couch before it's hauled away to the dump. Free leather!

Had a busy busy week. Last weekend I did 5 photoshoots, edited pics for three days and distributed them, slept on Thursday, then on Friday and finishing up today I built three computers, from scratch, so I can seel them. Two laptops and one desktop. Have another photoshoot for LA fashion week tomorrow night, and then three more next week! Then Im going to rest a day or two before I finish making the gladiator outfits and get hat shoot in the works. !! So I will be in and out of here. But sometimes I stop and read and dont post.

(NEWSER) – Feeling a bit muddled after a sleepless night? It may be because your brain didn't get a chance to flush out built-up toxins, NPR reports. While we're asleep, the brain acts, in a researcher's words, "like a dishwasher"—at least in animals studied, including mice and baboons. Last year, the BBC notes, experts discovered a "plumbing" system in the brain. During sleep, it seems, it's working in overdrive, "pumping fluid into the brain and removing fluid from the brain in a very rapid pace," researcher Maiken Nedergaard says.

Mouse brain cells, the scientists found, contracted during sleep, and fluid was able to move between them more easily. Upon a mouse's waking, the cells expanded. Not only could the phenomenon explain why extensive sleep deprivation can kill—it may also teach us about an observed link between sleep disorders and Alzheimer's Disease, among other brain diseases. Beta amyloid, whose buildup is tied to the illness, is one of the chemicals the brain gets rid of while asleep.

I think ... it is each individuals own responsibility to make their "sleep time" a priority in there lives .. however you do that...I think you have to play around with it ...what you eat, drink, watch; IT, TV, books kindles you just have to find the key .

Strangely a lot of info has come into my hands this week about sleep...I will post it on...

Thanks for posting. I was aware sleep deprivation can be dangerous causing irritability, hallucinations,  accidents, & health issues damaging the brain & heart, but I wasn't aware of beta-amyloid accumulation.

Anyway, the article above only has one paragraph on beta-amyloid. Rest is about Alzheimers.

Plaques. A protein called beta-amyloid accumulates and forms sticky clumps of amyloid plaque between nerve cells (neurons). High levels of beta amyloid as associated with reduced levels of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. (Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers in the brain.) Acetylcholine is part of the cholinergic system, which is essential for memory and learning and is progressively destroyed in Alzheimer’s disease.

Hopefully it encourages anxious people & insomniacs to sleep more in order to prevent possible  Alzheimer's disease in advanced age..

I notice that I sleep more deeply after a few hours outdoors in country or sea side fresh air....not city or town air..... And not necessarily being active.
I can't sleep well without the bedroom window being open, in all weathers !
