Nicky my daughter thinks she can sing, haven't told her the truth yet, she is only 6, she makes up for it with dancing, amazing. My oldest has a lovely voice and sings all the time. With his looks and if he did have real talent the Beliebers would switch teams straight away.
They were singing Con Te Partiro in Italian yesterday, should have taped it, would make their Nonnas day.

My children know we played it at our wedding so when she hears it, she gets all gooey and girly and starts singing it. It's cute

Thx Lorna, yes we played it whilst we walked around saying goodbye. My Dad and new mother in law and most women were crying but halfway through we switched to I've had the time of my life and hubby and I met in the middle if the circle and danced with our little flower girls.

Music has really a big power

Photographed a red carpet last night, and after spending the past 6 months pratically confined to a couch, I couldn't believe how wiped out I was after standing for two and a half hours. Slept a lot today.
But, while waiting to be taken to the carpet, there was this lady standing by the wall of a building, which was all glass, and had a pretty extreme slant. So I asked her if I could take her pic. I think she has a very powerful and intersting face. Her name is Deity and she is a singer/temple dancer. I would loooove to photograph her in costume, on a beach by huge rocks with candles in the sand at sunset. Here are smaller images; hope they're not too big

So was with a new friend the other day shopping (groceries so very boring) would rather it was shoes but I digress.  She (mother of 4) was buying lots of girly hair clips for her girls when another shopper who we dont know said "well you have a lot of hair clips, are you leaving some for the rest of us" my friend sweetly said I have 4 daughters, to which this idiot says to her "you should have Stupid tattooed on your forehead" My friend didn't know what to do - so I went right up to his lady and yelled in her face ""Are you normal" how dare you speak to her like that, apologise or get out of my face before you regret it.  Well she literally stuck her tongue out and walked away (Im talking about a lady in her 40's).  

What is wrong with people, seriously when did not minding your own business become the latest trend...

   What the hell. I would have taken my Iphone made a picture from her stupid face and told her if you do not a apologise I will post on FB and twitter your stupid face with a note "I'm a looser".

Ok ok....maybe too much but a threat is always worth to announce

Im not used to strangers sticking their nose in my or friends business, I find it appalling, but maybe Im so old school -

The one time I stuck my nose in a strangers mess was when I saw this Mum slap her little toddler across the face real hard in a shop, so I went up to her and said would you like to try that again - and if she touched him I think I would have flattened her - I had just had my 1st child and was full of new mummy glow and it really upset me to see someone do that. So I followed her all around the shop watching her until she left...

Damn theminis you're so tough! Never want to get on your bad side but totally agree with you. Amazing that she actually would have had the balls to say something like that to your friend. I think people are no longer learning to filter!

No Im not tough really but I felt like I had to step up - also I have spent a lot of time telling my kids this year that if you see something really wrong, say something, find an adult, do not ignore it - Im trying to live a bit more of what I preach - will probably get popped in the mouth one day for my troubles LOL

So like most mums usually I bid my kids goodnight with a Love you to the Moon and Back or my standard Love you more than cappuccinos (kids know not to get in the way of Mumma getting her coffee fix) so this is what happened last night.

My son - Mum can I ask a question
Me - yes Marcus (hesitatingly cause he comes up with some doozies at bedtime
Son - Have you been to the Moon
Me - No Im not an astronaut hon
Son - so then how do you know how much love it takes to get to the moon and back???
Me (in my head saying What the Heck)
Me - It doesn't take love to get to the Moon it takes a rocket (HA HA - gotcha)
Son - Im trying to work out if your love is quick or long???
Me - I know that my headache is getting worse - goodnight, love you more than cappuccinos
Son - Mum can I ask a question
Me - GOODNIGHT - I love you to infinity and beyond
Son - in a tiny whisper (where is infinity)

You just gotta love kids xx

Ive been keeping a record of what they say and the questions they ask, think its going to be one hell of a big book by the time they grow up and hopefully full of funny stories for them to enjoy - international celebrity, lol, no he doesn't know that, but he has been asking why I don't play with a website that has Daddys pictures on it, instead of Batmans!! too funny

One of the funniest statements my little girl made when she was 3 still makes me laugh. She was pretending to put make-up on me when all of a sudden she got real serious, put her tiny little hands on my cheeks and said Mummy who did that to your face? I ask her what do you mean, then with one little finger she traced my crows feet near my eyes and said very sadly, someone drew lines on your face when you were sleeping. I laughed and laughed then felt old and started researching botox!

Hi Ladies
Just dropped off my 2 oldest at their school sleepover, my daughters first time and she is so excited. She handpicked her outfit to wear as they are having a disco and she wants to look pretty - she looks like a little fashionista - My son is walking around like he's too cool to show his excitement, after all he did the sleepover last year and its just so passee. So they are playing board games, painting, sport then its dinner, followed by a disco and movies before bed. Should be a good night, hoping the school wont call me as Im taking child number 3 to a restaurant for dinner - so no doubt I will have a story for you tomorrow. The last thing my 3 year old said to his siblings was Im going home to play with all your toys HA HA HA (he doesn't even pretend to have a halo that one).

Maybe you are wrong. Some people hide their feelings as a defense mechanism out of fear. Especially if you have previously hurt them. Or they take longer to heal & trust again.
Or maybe he is confused by your actions & thinks the same about you?
Rely on intuituon deep inside you & you'll sense the truth.
