Ok I'll start it since it's September 1st in Oz!

And because it's so freaking hot here in HELL A thought I'd remind everyone that there are only

Thanks 115 days till Christmas, best get shopping then. Its going to be really nice today, lots of sun for the first day of Spring in Oz.

ooh almost forgot - being that its Fathers Day today, would like to wish all the Dads (if there are any on COH) a Happy Fathers Day, hug your kiddies, love them all up before they grow up and run the other way from your kisses/hugs.

On a personal note, although I know that my Dad in heaven is not checking the internet (possibly busy chasing my Mum around) but with that said Im thinking of him especially today - the man who showed me what being a man really means - love him, miss him and forever grateful that he was all mine xx

September already! No. I don´t like this at all. Just work work work.
I guess I didn´t make the most of the summer...I have to keep my eyes wide open ...if the opportunity to become a (rich) housewife arises I'm taking it, I swear to god.  

Yeah September already. Great month. Looking forward for my 3 weeks vacation. Ok starts only by the end of the month but we getting closer. Have to start my diet now to fit in my sommer dresses hehehe

And to be honest now I look forward to christmas. Can't wait for our Christmas market to start. Lot's of great food. mmmmhhh

I love the christmas markets! But it feels like I was in one just yesterday.
But I wasn´t. Fri& sat were my first and only golf courses for the summer. What have I been doing  

I guess I´m the only one with september blues.

I am not fond of September...still get that back to school feeling even though I haven't been in school for eons. Plus it starts to get dark again...

Today my eldest turns 8, he is so excited and has been counting down to today for weeks - he is getting up in 10 minutes for school and I cant wait to smother him in birthday kisses.  Below is an example of the cake he will be cutting later today when we have a little party for him.

Over here in Oz most people like September, first day of spring and the promise of sunny weather is on its way...

Maybe I can live in Australia from September to April then I can have two springs.....

Thanks Ladies - his presents were wrapped in Batman paper so he was happy (I mean Mel how could I leave off Batman, my son thinks George was the best like the most awesome Batman since ever Mum) - I covered all bases, Star Wars, Avengers, Ben 10 and Batman so yeah hes a happy little munchkin at the moment,.

I'm going to sunny California. Will start the first few days in LA and than do a tour around. San Diego, SF, Las Vegas and stuff like that. So excited.           Maybe G will be in LA and pick me up from the airport      - Little joke   hehe


It's getting darker here too. You can smell in the air that autumn is here. I bought already new shoes for the rainy season and got my umbrella. I'm prepared for autumn.

This September hasn´t been as bad as I anticipated so far.
But it´s autumn.
Time to end those ridiculous summer romances
and get back to business
if you haven´t done so already.

More difficult is to make messy buns (that looked amazing in the summer) with carefree summer clothes. Now the same buns look like you have tried and used every drug in the world. I don´t understand. I need a manual or hair cut.

I'm probably late to the party but had to share this with those who are iPadded up and looking for relaxation stuff, there's a free app called 'Nature Sound' by red hammer software (their logo is an orange butterfly on a yellow flower).

It lets you choose music or ambient sounds and you can mix your favourite sounds together to create an audio track of your choosing, PLUS you can tell it how long you want it to play for so you can drift off to sleep knowing it'll switch itself off in xx minutes.  It's bloody genius, I tell you!

I'm also trying out 'Take a Break' by meditation oasis (logo: woman's pale face on a pale background) which gives you two guided meditations (7 miutes and 13 minutes) with a choice of music or ambient sounds in the background.

Ive been using an app called Digipill on my IPOD - assuming its okay for Ipads and Iphones - theres a free meditating 30 minute recording that you listen too, its goal is to relax you and energise you - meant for during the day as a time-out. It really does allow you to take a few minutes out of your day to re-energise - downside is that most of the other recordings you need to pay for.

Beautiful Spring Day - IPOD is blasting, kids are dancing and singing along (singing all the wrong words but Im trying to ignore that).  Simple pleasures, the best.

My friend has a new phone and was so excited about it today.

I have never understood why they launch the new mobile phones like they do. Room full of people and hundreds of cameras zoomed waiting for the guy in a suit to come behind curtains holding little piece of software and electronics in his hand, the world´s eight wonder. New Turbid 5.0 is here!

So? I´d say this is not the right season, at least not here. Why don´t they launch rubber boots in same fashion? The director could come and show the rubber boot, pictures would spread around the world in nano seconds, all angels of the boot would be covered and analyzed.

He would say " Our company´s cornerstone and the most crucial thing is a perfect fit. Whether you are going fly-fishing or you are maintaining a pig farm. This is a boot for you. " Also, there is a new appealing feature (like phones have many and people use maybe two of them).

Killer feature is a sound that alarms you if you are about to step on a swamp. Everybody needs to feel safe. This is important.

Our boots come only in black, because it´s the color that suits all and makes your feet look smaller.

I have a pair of "hunter" rubber boots. How funny! Like I´m a hunter? Beware, here she comes...
