Is there actually sunshine in the UK now? I'm thinking of going home in July but can't face the miserable weather!

Mainly down south Katie...up north where I live it's sunny/cloudy but with a cold wind and rain due at the end of the week...still only two weeks till I go on holiday soI hope its going to be better in Lake Garda!

Just the week...staying in Lake Garda with trips to Venice, Verona, Dolomites and around Lake Garda itself....don't mind if its a bit chilly as long as it doesn't flipping rain! And determined to have a go speaking Italian after taking lessons for the last 7 months LOL...

Gosh I'm having travel envy, you lucky Europeans who are a hop skip and jump to all the exotic locales!

Last night I couldn't sleep very well, need to buy a bigger bed so that I can fit all 3 kids in it when they are sick! Anyhow I spent some time going through lots of old threads and had a blast reading all your comments from way back when, learnt a lot too. One thing I definitely saw was that it didn't matter who George was with at the time, lots of posters were still unhappy with his choice, not surprising at all.

Well theminis, since he keeps dating the same TYPE of gal it looks like most posters won't like any of them till he changes the type! HA!

That was one of my thoughts exactly. Well most people are attracted to similar types over and over again so George is not unusual in that aspect I guess.

Many a midnight apple picnic (the only thing they felt like eating) and giggles in the middle of the night had here.......amazing really, but when they're past all that, you miss it. Honest!!

Kids are fabulous that's true, and I will miss all the cuddles, not so much the knees in my back or the occasional kick. I don't think these children of mine kicked this much in the womb!

Hey at least you're not a guy and have to worry about kicks in the groin!

In my last job when it was suspected that someone was wasting a lot of company time, after hours I took their laptop to our techies and they found lots of interesting stuff - person was let go the very next day - you would be surprised what the tech departments can find if they need to. Most companies know a little bit of surfing will happen, so that's not a big deal.

Wouldn't it be nice if some of the guests who read here, joined, then we would have so many more people to chat with - always good meeting new people.

So I'm watching Long Island Medium and she's burning sage. I gotta tell ya, I realize this is something that Native Americans also do but the one time a friend 'burned sage' to clear the bad vibes in her house, all I could think was, "Yea I know now why this burning sage thing works - it smells like hot, sweaty armpits!"

That the kind of smell you get when you walk into a guy's gym and that awful stuffy, sweaty, stinky air hits your nose! That's smell is enough to drive any evil spirit away!"

Oh gross, burn eucalyptus or tea tree oil, also stinks but not as bad as sage, will allegedly kill off lots of germs, but don't know about poltergeists!!

My neighbors are asian ans when they moved into their apartment they waved a burning stick of sage as they walked around the apartment. They left the door open so the "spirits" could leave.

As for the websurfing at work, hide your tracks. With WIN7 or Vista, go to control panel, internet options, and select delete browsing history oin exit and click the delete button. Another window opens, select everything except the very top and hit the delete buttona t the bottom. With XP, you have to select remove offline content under remove temporary internet files and then delete and yes you are sure, when you are in the internet options in control panel. THEN, open your browser (internet explorer) and in the url location, ther eis a downward arrow to the right of the looking glass, click it once and a list of all the sights you have been to is listed. Click the x on the right side of each link and it will be removed. No traces of where you have been unless IT goes really deep into the system, and most times wont go that far. Happy surfing!

On a whole other subject, I had an epiphany today. I guess like most women I tend to be a bit self-deprecating and all my life I've never thought that I was particularly good at anything.

But today, for the first time in my life, I said aloud that I'm good at something: I can write.

Thanks guys....I just spent the day out of my element and thinking I can't do what is expected of me. I met a person who really has it together and know her stuff. I like the idea of thinking positive though.....

Lately I've been really good at laughing or coughing and peeing my pants.

But seriously, I'm good at taking even awful stuff that happens in my life and making people laugh when I retell it. Now if I could just get it all down in writing - that would be really great!

Someday when I have the time....
