Matt Damon Joins George Clooney and Stacy Keibler's Berlin Date Night

George Clooney took girlfriend Stacy Keibler out to dinner with Matt Damon in Berlin today. The couple appeared to be in good spirits as they walked into the restaurant holding hands while Matt arrived separately. George and Stacy's date may put an end to the split rumors that surrounded the lovebirds after the Oscars.

George and Matt are in Germany filming The Monuments Men along with Bill Murray and John Goodman, whom the two actors had a boys' night out with earlier this week. George has been staying in Berlin since award season wrapped but Stacy remained in the States following the Academy Awards. However, she is back in Berlin now, announcing her arrival yesterday over Twitter and noting that she is "excited to spend some time" in Germany's capital.

He doesn't look pissed, he looks like the lights are blinding him and he looks tired. He's been working in very cold conditions for long hours. He's tired.

Some of the pictures do look like he can't see because of the flashes but some he does look annoyed. I would think it would be annoying for him if he is directing, acting, etc and trying to concentrate, and then have to play the whole yes Stacy come over here so we can prove we are still together game. Maybe he did invite her to come be with him prior to all the rumors. But if he didn't and had to ask her to come, then I think he has a right to be pissy. JMO.

He does look tired. The lights didn't bother him the last time he was there last week. I saw a tweet where someone said they were on a flight with Bill Murray from Berlin to Newark. So maybe only Matt is there now.


The mustache is growing on me. It is nice to see him although I wish he was smiling. Maybe there will be video at some point.

It's true party animal the whole thing is rediculous. If and when they break up we will know. They are obviously still together or she wouldn't be there. I really don' thing George has a problem with leaving a relationship he is not happy in.

Maybe the paps are yelling stupid questions that are none of their business, and that is why George looks pissed. George invited Stacy, otherwise she wouldn't be there. Like all the others if they are with him it's cause he offered an invitation.

Considering the director of a film puts in 12-16 hour days, it's no wonder with a film of this magnitude that he looks tired. Even after he leaves the set for the night, he has hours of work ahead of him late into the evening to set up for the next day's work....not to mention the added stress of learning his lines. It's a grueling job...no wonder he looks worn out already.

In the previous pictures with the chaps he had his head down
or was behind Bill to avoid the camera flashes. Even big John had his eyes closed.

This time George is getting the flashes head on.
That really does hurt one's eyes so he's trying to avoid that.

All right, I love me some George Clooney, but I'm just gonna say it: these pictures remind me of one of those college weekends when your dad comes and takes you out to dinner at one of his favorite places, 'cause you're his big girl now.

He does look tired, as he has every right to.

Note that Stacy doesn't rate the intimate dinner her first night there; Damon being along probably means George was still working but had to accommodate her being there. Either they're so old hat they don't need romance, or there ain't no more romance.

I think he simply looks like a guy who wishes 50 people weren't yelling at him and taking his picture. He looks irritated and rightly so. Guess I wonder why bother going to the one restaurant he's known to go to. Soho House must have decent food. Seems like it would be more fun to have time together without all the paps they know are going to be at The Grill. Which leads me to the conclusion that its for the benefit of proving the gossip rags wrong.

Well she did it, pretty predictable, she sure shot down those rumors,with a tweet, a photo opp at the airport and hand-holding dinner with George and friends. In the last 24 hours she has made it on to many of gossip sites, She can now catch the red eye and be home by tomorrow. I don't know why he looks so annoyed in some of the pictures, he knows her tweets attract the paps. If they wanted a romantic get away, she shouldn't have tweeted about being in Berlin- oh that's right that is what they wanted.

Yes very predictable, and I guess they squashed the rumors for now. But so many celebrity couples seem to break up after a meeting or vacation so not sure how well it will work.

Is it just me or does Stacy look like she had some work done on her face? Specifically her cheeks.

I never believed that the same with George Stacy (I always thought that he had no reason!) For PR but frankly after this meeting in Berlin some doubts came to me:
1. entries separation
2. Stacy warns on twitter who is leaving
3.Stacy tweets that has arrived in Berlin
4. George takes her out to dinner at Grill Royal in Berlin where dinner when and where it is always photographed by the paparazzi
5. George as a good actor makes pissed off because the paparazzi will not leave him alone in his private life
6. I may be wrong but this seems like more of a farce and they are taking the piss all because I can not think that George is not so stupid as to be able to spend a romantic evening with Stacy without letting the whole world know!

I just find the timing suspicious. If this were a secure relationship you'd think the attitude would be , 'go bother' - meaning who cares what the media is saying - and there wouldn't be this sudden need for her to jet over to Berlin (after having announced it). And if this were strictly a romantic visit, why advertise it, and as someone else pointed out, why not just surf under the radar (true, celebs do it all the time when they REALLY don't want to be seen). Why be so high profile about everything, and then appear to be annoyed by all the attention. Isn't that the whole purpose, kids?

I agree with Lelacorb. It's all very odd behaviour to the point of being silly. Im not swooning wishing I was the lucky girl on his arm. Is anybody wishing they were Stacy? I view her 'romantic' relationship with derision.

Stacy Keibler and George Clooney enjoyed a dinner date on Saturday night but it wasn't so romantic with Matt Damon joining the pair.
The couple, who have been dogged by rumours of a split, enjoyed a meal with George's co-star and fellow Argo producer Grant Heslov at a restaurant in Berlin.
The 33-year-old former wrestler arrived hand-in-hand with the 51-year-old actor and while Stacy managed a smile George's face was much more serious.

Stacy was wrapped up in a dark black coat adding a flash of red across her lips.
Clooney was sporting a moustache, had a dark jacket on and light jeans with a scarp tied around his neck.
Closely following the couple Matt arrived at the eatery wearing a similar outfit to that of his co-star.

She was the envy of girls across the globe when she started dating George back in July 2011, although on Friday it seemed as if Stacy's romance with the Hollywood heartthrob had turned sour as the couple were reported to have gone their separate ways.

Thnx for posting those photos, Lux. What I find bewildering is that in that series of photos from that link, George Clooney looks majorly pissed off, even in photos he wasn't expecting to be papped. Stacy Kiebler is laughing like a hyena or very smug.

In a real couple situation, both would be pissed at the papparazzi for imposing on them.

Also, Matt Damon seems bothered. Perhaps Clooney confides in him & Damon knows what's really going on.

Oh, I doubt very much this is a real relationship, either. There seems to be no chemistry between them & they don't even share bedrooms. Like thousands of people who view this objectively, it appears to be "friendship" or business arrangement without physical intimacy. Many people have expressed that opinion here too.
And perhaps one day George Clooney will reveal the truth.

Oh.... afternoon delight... I remember it so well.

Overnight flight so she got some rest, then George took off early to prepare for her arrival, sent someone to pick her up at airport, brought her to SohoHouse AND , then needing some nourishment

What I find funny is how awkwardly they are holding hands in the pictures laetval posted. I know they are walking out and it may have been a small hall but it's just weird. IMO

Okay, so she arrives in the afternoon. She has time to go shopping, presumably while he's still working on set... But then he blows off several hundred thousands of dollars in post-set, editing, and next-day set-up responsibilities for hotel sex...? I doubt it.

And he does not look like a man who spent the afternoon satisfying any pent- up sexual hungers with the woman who's by his side.

As for dinner, well, everybody's gotta eat. I think George was still on the work clock, and Stacy was just a tag-along. What's significant is that he feels it's important that they be seen together. It's the walk on the Hawaiian beach and dinner in Cincinnati (?) all over again.
